Crestwood Roofing

That was fine.  I ended up using him to do the entire roof.  He was very good, very nice.  His crew was fine.  There were a couple of incidental items he was going to fix but never did.  They're just not real good at getting back.  I probably wouldn't use them again.  They really did a good job for what I needed them for.  There punctuality was fine.  They came out within a week of the purchase date.  It was at least ten thousand dollars.  It was an insurance claim on both sides.

The owner Dan signed up to do work for my company. He lacked communication and flat out bailed on us and then never paid us for the work he performed for us. We tried to reach out to him via text when he wouldn't answer our calls and when he replied back he seemed to be drunk or something. Would never use him again and feel sorry for anyone who has too. Please don't risk your money with this guy or his company. There are too many other good trustworthy roofers out there so there is no reason to risk being screwed over like we were. Use someone else. <br />

Owner said he's send someone out to seal the one spot he noticed needed it.  I never heard from him after he left that day. <br />

Called Dan and came out the first time May 12th with no issues and very friendly, but said roof was too wet to climb up on and would come back.  Never heard from him.  Called him twice to reschedule and finally heard back. Said he would come back the last week of May, but did not show up.  Called Dan and left a message saying I just wanted my money back.  He said he would be there the first week of June.  I stayed home that day with other work being done and he never even drove by.  Found  reputable company to do the work, still don't have my $99 back. 

He did the work, and showed me some additional work that I'd need. He said he'd get back to me but I didn't hear back from him -- even after I called 3-4 times. The work that he did do was okay. I was expecting the bid for the tar-down roof but never heard from him again.

This was a very discouraging experience. They did not do the work, even though I had paid $99 for a roof maintenance package with a free inspection. There was construction going on in the area at first, which made it more challenging . However, several other contractiors  I  hired to do things during this time managed to come and do work.  Someone came once but said the roof was dam and he would  come back later. No one did.. I have sent a number of messages, but they are ignored. .  <br /> Angie;s List should drop this provider from a listing. <br />

Our neighborhood was hit particularly hard during storms and it appears at least 75% of the roofs needed repair.  We couldn't have been more pleased with Crestwood.  Unlike a lot of the other roofers going through the neighborhood, they inspected our old roof and damage and gave us an estimate within 2 hours before ever leaving the property.  Some of the other roofers we dealt with wanted to see our insurance settlement before they would give an estimate.  Crestwood responded immediately to our texts and phone calls during and after the installation.  They immediately fixed small things we found after the roof was installed.  They were totally professional.  I highly recommend this company and would do business with them again in a second.  As an added bonus, they were the cheapest of the three estimates we received. <br />

Dan came to our newly purchased home as when we had the home inspected the inspector noted some popped nails, small areas of concern, and suggested we have a roofing contractor take a look just to be safe and ensure our peace of mind. Dan at Crestwood Roofing did a thorough inspection, answered all of my questions, did not try to sell me something I didn't need or couldn't afford. All in all it was a pleasant experience and it did give us peace of mind. Buying a home creates enough stress, it was nice to have something go right. Dan confirmed our inspectors evaluation, sealed the minor pops, provided me pictures, and was very professional and thorough in his work. Thank you Crestwood Roofing.

Dan pointed out that there are more serious problems and suggested to call my insurance agent and he would reinspect the roof with him. Unfortunately, the assessor came without contacting us, and determined the fixes made were sufficient and no other repairs are needed. I have asked for a re-inspection where I and Dan could be present, my insurance hasn't called back with a new date as of yet, even though I have contacted them on several occasions. <br /> When this happens, I will be sure to contact Dan of Crestwood Roofs again.. <br />

Although the first attempt at fixing the small leak at the vent pipe was not effective, Dan returned and stopped the leak.  <br />

Everything went great.  He was a little late, only 15 minutes, and he did not call.  But everything else is an A!

This job was on a fairly new roof and was mainly for peace of mind and up to date information.  We bought the home as a foreclosure in 2012 so the bank didn't give us any information pertaining to work that had been done (as-is). We only found out about the roof because there was never a final inspection on the new roof so the city sent us a letter. Overall we were very satisfied with the professionalism, prompt response and information received. <br />
