Pest Control - Small Animals
First they didn't show as scheduled. We hired them to capture groundhogs that were in the ditch. For some reason they placed the traps up in the yard. You would think after not catching something they would have moved the traps to the ditch where their burrow was but did not. After 7 days they remove the traps without catching anything or showing any effort to do so. Poor communication between them. What a joke.

The technician was very nice and came back several times. If we ran into this problem again we'd definitely have them come back out.

Is it weird to love the people that removed rodents from your walls? No. No it's not. <br>We just bought a home and started to notice a smell in the front room. We had another provider on here come out three times who did absolutely nothing, and charged us an arm and leg for the quote, work—which was basically just them sniffing the walls, saying it would probably a mouse, and that the smell would go away after a few weeks. Well guess what? It didn't. <br>So we contacted Critter Control and Mike came out the next day. He identified the general source of the problem, and the following day he pulled not one, not two, but FOUR squirrel carcasses and a dead chipmunk out our walls. He located where they had been coming in, and he has his crew cleared out their nest, all of the waste/feces that left behind, and even added some new insulation and preventative measures to make sure they wouldn't come back—which consisted of cotton balls soaked in bobcat urine (might be a little weird, but it works!) The animals were coming in from a hole they chewed throw in the gutter. And now that we've had it fixed we haven't had a problem. <br>After dealing with the previous company for over a month, with the smell and issue continuing to get worse, we were thrilled to have someone so knowledgable come in and completely take care of the problem the first time around. It was literally, like a breath of fresh air. He and his crew were extremely friendly, and it was a pleasure to have them do the work. The prices are very fair, and the people are great. If we ever have an issue in the future, I will definitely use them again. <br> <br> <br>

They charged me an additional $100 for the work that was done. The tech found a hole on the roof line and stated that my squirrels were getting into the attic from that hole. The tech put a trap in the hole but the trap never went off and I could see the squirrel going in and out of the hole. The tech came back and sealed the hole but I still have squirrel activity in my attic. I think that he should have come back and not quit looking for the squirrels.

They were great. They initially came out to my home almost every day. They were successful in finding pests and their offspring. They removed the traps and also repaired damages created by the animals.

I used Angie's List one time and that seemed to work out okay. The only problem I had was that there seemed to be some difficulty in the communication between Angie's List and the Critter Control company so that my services were delayed for over a week before both got in sync but I don't know who to blame for that. He has been coming every day since then. He has been very helpful. They have been doing very well. He did stick to the big deal price of 250 for live animal trapping. I had a lot of other stuff done but I did get the big deal price and I paid extra for the other services that he was doing. Let's see how he finishes as we are still in the process. Overall I would rate them a 'B' just because everything is not done yet. I will say a 'B' for the quality because he is not through and he hasn't really done much for me to see. He has been very good for the responsiveness. He comes within a given time and like I said he has been coming everyday so he comes within a time range.

They came out promptly, but charged us to confirm that we had a critter living under the house. We knew that. That's why we called. There was a hole allowing the animal to enter and exit. They charged to put out a trap that one day disappeared. They put up a cover for the hole and we have not heard anything from them. It was disappointing to have such an expensive plan that was both passive and vague. Now we have an infestation of flies...Guess they would like to charge us to remove the dead animal now. <br />

We were awoken to the sounds of banging coming from our A/C unit followed by an awful stench flowing through the house. A search outside with flashlights in hand revealed two skunks who decided to mate in our condenser. We called Critter Control and they were out later that morning. The trapper indicated animals had taken up residence in our crawl space, determined the likely point of entry, and set up traps accordingly. She was knowledgeable and professional; checking the traps regularly and communicating with my wife. She offered some remediation options, but it was not a pushy upsell. I would definitely recommend them to others. <br />

Arrived and performed the removal the day I called. Was very considerate of our pets and the threat of the raccoon spreading any diseases. Tested the raccoon for rabies, distemper, and other things. It did test positive for distemper. He also suggested several home maintenance chores to further protect our home. <br />

We've used Critter Control on three separate occasions. They've helped out with Mice eradication, odor remediation and wild animal control. The guys are professional, responsive and knowledgeable. We've even contacted them outside of service hours - they answered the phone and provided helpful advice. <br />

I called and they scheduled me a time first thing in the morning the next day. I wasn't able to be there but neighbors informed me they had come by on Friday and removed the baby raccons from the nest. They gave me a followup call after they had done this and left an additional trap to catch the mom overnight. The raccoon was too smart for that and had nothing to do with the trap. Even though the next day was saturday, I unexpectedly heard the doorbell and it was the weekend shift coming to check the trap. He had brought the babies with him and when I told him the momma hadn't fallen for the trap he began to get a second trap and and put the babies in it. They immediately started screaming which attracted the momma out of the hole. after the momma had sprung the trap without being inside it the rep. went to his truck and got his net. The momma was so preoccupied with trying to get to her babies that she didnt pay any attention to him and he was able to capture the momma and reunite her with the babies. they were very professional with everything and definitely went above and beyond on a weekend to help me out. They take the captured animals to Walden's puddle way out from where I live so there is no chance of them finding their way back. They also offered to fix the hole in the roof, but I declined since I was confident in patching that up. I know who to call next time something like this happens. <br />

We had a snake that would shed its skin in our backyard. We have dogs and were concerned that it was a poisonous so we called Critter Control. <br /> They came out fast and checked the snake skin and informed us that the snake was not poisonous. They dug around the window to make sure that the snake was not under the window by the foundation. <br /> This is a great company and the gentlemen that came out were highly experienced. We certainly wont hesitate to call them again if the Critters return. <br />

Called on Monday, April 21 to make an appointment. Got voice mail, left a message but nobody called me back.Called back a few hours later and got a live person...very friendly and nice. Said I would be assigned to Jacob for my job. She said he'd call me back between 8-9AM on Tuesday to schedule a time to come out. Phone rang at exactly 8AM Tuesday and it was Jacob. Very nice. VERY punctual, and professional. We agreed he be out between 9 and 10. He arrived at 9:00. Within 6 minutes of being here he already knew the problem and he was right!!! I was so impressed! He's very observant. Found the birds nests in the dryer vent, sprayed, cleaned out the vent, and sprayed again and placed a cover that birds couldn't get into. <br /> I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Critter Control. Another thing I was impressed with was the fact he put on shoe covers so he wouldn't dirty the carpet. I REALLY appreciated that...and he did it without my saying anything. Totally awesome. Thank you Critter Control for a job well done!

Good! I would definitely use them again, but I shouldn't need to after they closed the area they were using to gain access to the attic area. Shawn kept in touch with me, told me what he was doing, and did what he said he would do. He was also very knowledgeable about animal behavior. <br />

I had tried calling a different company first but was not getting a response. My call to Critter Control wasn't answered at first and I didn't leave a message. The receptionist called me back a short time later and apologized she was on the phone with a different customer when I called. That was a nice first impression to get a call back without even leaving a message. Mike came out to my house a short time later and quickly removed the skunk I had trapped. He made it look so easy! He coaxed the skunk out of my trap and right into his. I was very thankful that the animal didn't spray and it was taken away so quickly and easily. Very happy! <br />
