The workmen did a good job when they had the necessary materials. The owner did not show up after the contract was signed. The vanity cabinets were delivered late and without us seeing them before hand (had no drawers). The owner sent us to a company to pick the counter tops but when we selected the countertop he said he changed it without telling us and not from the company he sent us to. It took us another week to select a counter top and going to five other companies. After taking the first two payments the owner ask us to go get and pay for all other materials (shower door, mirrors, lights, faucets, etc...). If you want to act as you own contractor hire this guy or don't. It will not matter. You will be the contractor.

Although there is some merit to things you said, like not having materials on time, It also had to do with the pay schedule. I appreciate the opportunity to work for you, however in retrospect I wish I would’ve been privy to the emotional state of your wife and how are she over reacted to dust being in the house. Although we try our best to mitigate things, it is absolutely impossible to keep dust from being nonexistent in a remodeling project. Furthermore, I showed up at the house several times not just at the beginning but throughout the process. Perhaps you are home or perhaps you do not remember, but those are the facts."

We called Sonia at CROSS CLEANING aka Cross Services to come out to our home to give us a bid to have some grout haze removed that was left when we had new Italian Porcelain tile installed Oct 2017. Tommy Jackson , the owner came out and was pleasant said this could be easily removed with his products and high powered truck mounted equipment. He gave us a bid which we thought was good but know finding out that we paid way to much ( $1600.00) We don't mind paying for quality work as long as the job gets done correctly and meets our expectations as promised. We waited two weeks for them to come to our home on July 16, 2018 to start the job. Tommy said, he would have 4 guys come and blocked time from 9 am- 6pm. We are prepared and had moved a lot of furniture out of way for the guys and pleasantly surprised when Ricky and Dominic showed up at 8:30 am but just two guys not the four . The two young men were very pleasant and eager to start this job. They put the grout haze remover let it sit for 10 minutes then agitated it with hand scrubber and then used high powered steam/vacuum. Its seems like this did the job , then they poured a Neutral Floor Cleaner Concentrate and started spreading this all over tile. It initially made tile look glossy until you walked over it and left foot prints all over. They said they would do a final mop up of entire house before they left . Once they left at about 2 pm it looked okay but once they left and my husband and I walked on it their were foot prints everywhere. It looked horrible and worse than the grout haze. I called Sonia immediately and told her what had just happened. She said Tommy had taken day off to visit family that was in town from TN. As you can imagine , we were so disappointed with the outcome. I had to make several attempts to get in touch with Tommy. He showed up the next day at 6:00 pm. He was seemed to be apologetic and said workers were on the way. They arrived at around 6:30 and worked until 8:30 while Tommy left at 7:30. They were tired it has been a 13 hour day for them. They were not happy to be working so late and could tell did what they could to get done an out of house. Ricky has been with company 5 months and Dominic just making money so he can move to New Mexico. So these boys do not have a lot experience. I put this on the owner having these boys not being supervised. We are thankful that Tommy did come back out and try to make things right. Tommy has never called us back to see how the boys did once they left nor ask us if we were satisfied. We are very reasonable and I think Tommy would agree but we feel we overpaid for a service that was under delivered. As a business owner , I would always make certain that my customers were completely happy. We don't feel we should be calling/ texting a company to have them come back to a get the job done as promised. It's an unfortunate that I had to write this negative review as we are the first give positive feedback when warranted . We had two families waiting to call them for business but highly unlikely now with us not being completely satisfied customers. I would highly recommend getting someone with nothing less than 5 Star reviews and getting at least 3 quotes. This probably would have saved us a lot frustration and disappointment in the long run and given us more peace of mind.

I called Tommy at Cross Services for a quote, I wanted my saltillo tile stripped, cleaned and resealed he was very nice and helpful. After the floor was cleaned, it looked great until they put on the sealant. When the floor dried there were spots without any sealant. When Tommy called to see how I liked the floor and to get paid, I told him what my issue was he said it was my floor, saltillo tile looks like that and instead of coming over he wanted me to text him a picture. After looking at the picture, he said his guys did not put enough product on, and he would fix it. They came back a few days later and recoated the floor, and it was a mess. The sealant cracked in places, and when Tommy called to see how I liked it I told him it had issued, he was not happy with me and again I had to text him pictures. He finally came back to see the floors a couple of days later. First, he said his guys didn't sand it properly, then he said it was our fault for walking on the floors, there were not any footprints on the floor, and we did wait 8 hours. Then he didn't have to take care of it and got defensive and walked out and said it was us and we would never be happy. He did have his guys come back one last time and fixed a couple of spots but it didn't work. So now I have a floor that has bubbles, cracks in the sealant, and is already peeling. He is not a professional person because he does not stand behind his work. I knew the floors would not look 100%, but the sealant should have. I have lots of pictures to stand behind my review.

Omar and Josh arrived earlier than scheduled but called first. Were pleasant, professional and informative. They steam clean the tile and grout as well as applied a cleaning agent to the grout. Then let me choose between 4 different grout colors. On their knees with a toothbrush they meticulously applied the new grout color. upon completion my tile and grout appeared new. What a difference! Have had my kitchen tile and grout cleaned and resealed a couple of times prior to this by other companies, while the results were good they pale in comparison to this cleaning and recolor. In addition, my laminate floor was buffed with a neutral cleaner, in my living room and hallway. Will definitely use again for my tile maintenance needs.

This was the kind of unpleasant experience I had hoped to avoid by using Angie's List. Let me start by saying that in the end, I was very happy with the work I had done (see photo attached). Price: I purchased a package for 30 sq ft of tile installation. The package included redoing the sub floor and removing and replacing the baseboards. They came out quickly, took some measurements, and quoted me a price. He told me it would be about two weeks before he could get to it and said he would email me the quote. After two weeks, I contacted the company again because I had not heard back from them. Sonia (possibly the office manager) had the record of them coming back but the individual who took the measurments did not. They came back again. He implied that the price he had quoted was very low but agreed to honor it. After that visit, I contacted him and told him that if he felt he underbid initially, he could just refund my purchase of the package since no work had been done yet. He said that he would get it done for the price he initially quoted. When the sub contractor, Jose, came out and started removing the linoleum, he said the work was a lot more than anticipated as there were multiple layers of flooring just piled up on top of each other. I had suspected as much and agreed to pay the new higher price that Cross Cleaning had given me as I felt it was reasonable and it did fall within the norms for my area that I had previously pulled from Angie's List. I think the price was fair. The only thing I didn't like is that I was told that the new price would include the supplies. After the floor was put in, the sub contractor asked me I was going to buy the baseboard and the quarter round or if Cross Cleaning was covering it. I told him that I didn't know. He said he would go purchase it and then send the bill to Cross Cleaning. After the job was completed, within a few hours, the sub contractor returned to my home and indicated that he was not going to be paid for those last materials so I paid for that. (That is an issue between Cross and their sub contractor but I got stuck in the middle.) Punctuality/Professionalism: After my previous experience with them forgetting that they had come out, I made sure to call the week before my appointment to ensure they were coming. They confirmed that they would be out at 0800 on Tuesday. I also received a confirmation email indicating the same. They were a no call/no show. I called Cross Cleaning at 1600 to ask for a refund and the owner called me back and left me a voicemail indicating that they were not able to do the work because they couldn't cut the tile in the rain. He sent a follow up text later and we communicated by text. I told him that I had left my car on the street so that they could work in my garage and that I didn't receive a phone call or text that they were not coming. He asked me again about the price and indicated that that was a great deal. I once again told him that, if he felt he had underbid, we could just cut ties with a refund as he had not yet sent me an estimate and no work had been done. He said he would honor his price. I agreed that they would come the following morning. When the original flooring was removed, and the subcontractor informed Cross that there would be an additional fee, the owner called me and explained the costs clearly and in detail and that was very helpful. Overall, the whole process was difficult and the company was bad at communicating. What was supposed to be a two day project turned into almost 4. I work hart to save up and take on one or two projects each year to make my home nicer. I have one more project already scheduled with another company but this experience makes me want to cancel and not hire anyone else for a while.

They had to reschedule us twice. They apologized but what would have made it a "wow" experience is if they had offered an additional service at a discount such as repairing some of the worn grout or polishing some of the nicks.

The transformation was great. Having the grout color sealed to a lighter, original color makes a huge difference. We were told the technicians would arrive between 8 and 9. The office called at 9 to say they would arrive by 9:30, however they did not arrive until 10. The work was still completed on the same day even with later start.

The floor tiles came out cleaner than when first installed. The tech was punctual, tidy and did a great job. I am wheelchair bound and dependent on professionals to do maintenance work I once did. Their work exceded my high expectations. I highly recommend Cross Cleaning.

The appointment was set for 10:00 am on 1 August 2017.At 10:15 am the representative called and changed the appointment to 4:30 pm due to delays. At 4:30 pm, the representative called and changed the arrival time to 6:30 pm. The workman arrived about 6:30 and 40 minutes later said he was finished. I asked him if he had done the backsplash. He said no, that was not included in the offer. I said the offer said that if the backsplash was granite it was included. Then the workman said the backsplash was NOT granite. I said it most certainly was. He called his office to find out if the backsplash was included. He waited a few minutes for a call back then said it would be quicker if he just did the backsplash rather than wait for a call back. He did the backsplash and left.

The job went great! They were hired to clean & seal kitchen granite through a discount offer of $79.99 I had purchased. I was very happy with the result and asked for a quote for all my bathroom granite. They honored the same price! Very nice people to work with.

Went very well. The crew showed up on time and did a very good job. I had them remove and replace some grout that had gotten mildewed in the shower and they did a very nice job. Will definitely keep them in mind for future tile cleaning in the rest of the house.
