Found Cross Heating & Air on web, they had decent reviews - decided to give them a try. They came as scheduled, was able to diagnose & repair the problem very quickly. No replacement parts were needed. The fee was very reasonable.

<p>Mr Cross was very patient when several times conflicts came up and I needed to re-schedule. When we were finally able to work out a date, Mr Cross arrived on time, introduced himself & his son and immediately went to work. After looking at my furnace, we both went under the house and he pointed out issues & explained what needed attention immediately and eventually. Even though Mr Cross was there to evaluate my furnace he was generous with his time and expertise and looked at my central air system as well; telling me where to get more information and how to contact him, when & if I needed him in the future.</p> <br />

Found a serious problem with our furnace (cracked register) as well as mold inside of the furnace (crawl space) in our recently purchased house. Was very thorough and clearly took pride in doing a good job. <br />

I had multiple times of trying to scheduling with them.  The scheduled date was their choice but they never showed up or called.

Mr. Cross went out of his way to help us. My daughter has a seizure disorder and extreme heat could potentially make her have a seizure. Other places were telling me they could not come for 4-6 days. Mr. Cross was here in an hour and diagnosed the problem. He was back with a new unit within 2 hours and had it installed before dark! Very prompt, professional and great quality work! <br />

I was very pleased.  He showed up on time and shared a lot of useful & helpful information.  I also know that my furnace is ready for winter. <br />

Very well. He showed up on time with all of the equipment needed. Was respectful about keeping the house clean. I have worked with them before and they always do a great job. Repairs are satisfactory and prices are reasonable. <br /> <br /> <br />

They provided excellent service and we were quite pleased with them. I would recommend them because them came promptly, we didn't have to wait for days.

Overall, it was fine - the technician installed a broken part and got the air conditioning working. Now, six months later, the heat pump is still working, so he did a good job! Also, I really appreciated the same-day service. The only thing preventing me from calling Cross again is the pressure the technician put on me to purchase a new heating/cooling system. He said the heat pump was installed in 1993, when actually it was a 2003 unit. I knew this because I had the original invoice from Cross when they installed the heat pump. After I mentioned that I had the invoice, the technician backtracked and said the unit was indeed from 2003. On the one hand, I was happy that the air conditioning was fixed; but on the other, I'm really disappointed that I got such a clumsy sales pitch. <br />

Dennis did a good job with the installation and provided all the details to apply for our KU rebate.  The check for $550 just arrived!  I'd definitely recommend Cross Heating and AC. <br /> <br /> <br />

I liked the fact that he came within two days. He had all the replacement parts he needed to do the job and within six hours the job was completed. He drove two hours to get to my home which was very nice of him. He seemed to be very forthright and trustworthy. I am very happy with his service. Also he is a good educator. He took his time explaining how to care for my system.

They are a good company. They are small enough to be able to respond to individual needs. He was flexible with what times he could come. He was courteous and answered all of my questions and generally gave superb customer service.
