Chris went way beyond the call of duty. He was very creative and problem solving. He did what Cox cable top advisers could not perform. They stayed with us right till the very end until it was perfect. When something didn't look right they turned around and came all the way back to correct it. I would recommend them to anyone. We originally talked to Kevin O'Connor with O'Connor Electric, but when we talked to him he said he does not do that work and recommended us to Chris. Chris came out immediately to help us. We are very thankful for Kevin for recommending him to us.

Initial service was sold and installed the same day. <br /> We had problems from the start with false alarms that finally resulted in contact with the monitoring company. That didn't go well as we didn't know our assigned code word. Repeated calls to several contact numbers over the next few days resulted in no help. <br /> I had the feeling that the salesman was new on the job as there were a couple of critical steps that were missed that caused us concern. For example, we were told that the company would call and we would establish a security code word. That never happened and on our first contact with the alarm company, they had a security word, but we did not. I can only assume that someone with CRS filled that in without our input as to what the word should be. <br /> The installation person was very good and did a professional job. <br /> About a week into our working with this company they offered to install a door lock for us. It worked fine, but a couple days later, I noticed that the bolt plate had not been secured, so I got a couple of screws and finished the installation job. Needless to say, I wouldn't rate this technician as high as I would the first. <br /> We have since had one call back to correct a faulty sensor and that went very well. <br /> The company knew that I was upset with their service and was having problems, yet no one bothered to call me to find out what the problem was and how it could be fixed. That isn't the way a quality company works. <br /> <br /> An Update: CRS called me to discuss the rating above. I feel much better about them as a company as I felt the caller was sincerely attempting to determine the issues that caused my distress with their service. I will not change my ratings as they fit my first experience with this company.

Excellent all time

I contacted CRS to see about having a home alarm system installed....their salesman came out and sold me on a $50 per month plan, so after being told my insurance carrier would give me a 24% discount on my home owners policy I agreed to the deal for 5 years. <br /> When I contacted my insurance company, I was told no one ever gives a 24% discount, mine would be about 3%.  I called CRS and <br /> talked to the salesman, he acknowledged he did tell me 24% and said he wasn't aware of the difference between a manufactured home and a mobile home.  He also told me the office manager would contact me very soon and work things out.  Well the office manager <br /> didn't call for a week so I sent them an email and requested all communication be in writing from this point on. <br /> After exchaning emails for several weeks, we got nowhere, I wanted them to come to my house and take out the system, they refused and threatened to sue me and they would ruin my credit if I didn't pay as agreed.  Yes, they said all of this and more in emails, then they tried to deny they ever said anything close to what I was complaining about....and I held the emails in my hand.  So I told them to take me to court, I wouldn't pay them a dime.  They very quickly backed off taking me to court, even though they had a huge legal department at their disposal.  All I asked for was to remove the equipment they installed and return the money I paid up front, and we each go our <br /> separate ways.  They would not return my money, so I unpluged the system.  And that is where we stand today. <br /> I have contacted other alarm services and learned I can use the equipment installed in my house, and just have the system monitored for under $20 per month.  A very nice savings of $30 per month, for a 5 year contract, do the math.  I had flyers printed telling of my <br /> experience with CRS and I distribute them at every opportunity I get.  The home alarm system is a great deterrent, just be careful when <br /> your ready to have one installed....and SHOP AROUND.  It's your money, spend it wisely. <br /> <br />
