CSM Window & Door

Mike the owner is great to work with. I had a hard time finding replacement windows for the atrium. other contractors either want to break stucco and rebuild or refuse to quote. the windows came out very nice. we had trouble with two windows and mike came out right away. we had them refill the foam in the windows more. they were very accommodating. overall - very pleased.

Good quality work, good staff - polite, tidy and effective, good communication and follow up - a difficult project completed with minimal headaches.

THE QUALITY OF THE DOOR/TRIM/PAINTING WAS WONDERFUL. IT WAS A TOTAL TURNKEY  PROJECT THAT WENT WELL AS FAR AS I KNOW!   I STARTED WITH  A QUOTE ON MARCH 23RD AND THE CUSTOM DOOR WAS INSTALLED ABOUT JUNE 11TH.  JULIO AND PAULO DID A GREAT JOB INSTALLING AND MAKING MINOR ADJUSTMENTS. THERE WERE MANY PHONE CALLS GENERATED FROM BOTH SIDES.  THEIR GRADE FOR "RESPONSIVENESS" WOULD HAVE BEEN A "D" IF IT WEREN'T FOR CAROL ANN!  SHE IS AN ASSET TO THE COMPANY. <br /> I DID NOT REALIZE THE HARDWARE ON MY GUEST ROOM NEEDED ADJUSTMENT UNTIL I HAD GUESTS THE MIDDLE OF JUNE.  THEY WERE HERE FOR 3 WEEKS AND I DIDN'T CALL CSM ABOUT IT UNTIL THEY LEFT. (WE DIDN'T KNOW WHAT OUR SCHEDULE WAS FROM DAY TO DAY!)  SOMEONE FROM CSM WAS TO COME JULY 24TH IN THE AFTERNOON FOR THIS MINOR ISSUE.  NO ONE CAME OR HAS CALLED SINCE.  I'LL GET A HANDYMAN TO ADJUST THE DOOR. <br /> EXCEPT FOR COMMUNICATION, THIS WAS A SUCCESSFUL PROJECT AND I'M HAPPY WITH CSM.  I LOVE MY NEW DOORS! <br /> <br />

It went well.  From the beginning with Sean helping us decide on the right door to Roberto doing the install, everything was up front and all our questions were answered.  We love our new door. <br /> I would use them again. <br />

This is the second time we have worked with CSM.  Their prices are unbeatable and the quality is top notch.  Other than them sending me the wrong quote at first, it was a great experience.  Their people are true craftsman.  I plan to use them on my next project as well. <br />

<p>Everything stood out. They came out, did their estimate and their quote was fair. They came back and took the doors down when they said they would. They brought back the new doors and installed them. They put the hardware back on that they took off the original doors. The doors all fit and they worked properly.  Everything was exactly the way it should have been. These guys were so good that they even vacuumed up after they were done and they wore little booties on their feet so they would not dirty up my rug. It is a hugely professional operation; very, very, very well done. </p>

CSM was very responsive from the first contact. Pricing was reasonable, and the product and installation quality was superb. I would highly recommend CSM and am already having them quote other work. With so many contractors flaking out and never returning calls, CSM was a welcome change. The owner, Michael, seems to take genuine interest and care in the work that his company performs. <br />

The back door of our home was from 1964, had a louver window and was completely rotten on the bottom. CSM fabricated a fiberglass door with low e window that opens including the frame and sill. Removing the old frame proved to be quite a task and once removed, the opening required modifications for the new frame to fit. The installation team was great - professional, courteous, skilled and cleaned up beautifully. Michael was very good to work with happily providing a quote and then altering the quote as requested. He even gave a cash discount on top of the Angie's List discount. I would use CSM again and recommend them highly. <br />

The grass was removed last week of January. Then on account of the rain, the cement could not be put down till second week of February. One can't predict the weather, so the delay was understandable. Michael's crew was booked on the days when there was no rain - so waiting for close to two weeks with a dug up yard waiting for the cement to go down was frustrating. However, the end result was worth the wait, and the backyard looks great. <br /> We also had some iron gates installed around the property.  They came out and measured the space and delivered and installed the doors on schedule. They did their best to match the pattern(on the new gates) with the pattern on the existing gates on the property.  <br /> Small glitches are bound to happen with any project - in the end, the yard and the gates look and work great. <br /> It was a positive experience and will hire Michael in the future.  <br /> <br /> <br />

We had been meaning to replace our front doors for many years because they were the builder's original and were 25+ years old.  Every time we got estimates, they were ridiculously expensive, so we kept putting it off.  Finally, last November we saw an ad for CSM Window and Door in the newspaper and gave them a call and left a message.  Michael McCormick called back very quickly and we set up an appointment for him to come to our home for an estimate.  After all the previous sales pitches we had endured, meeting with Michael was a breath of fresh air!  There was absolutely NO sales pressure.  Michael was very friendly, low key, and professional.  He spent a long time going over our options, and my wife and I just felt a good connection with him.  He is very genuine and likable.  Michael had a great selection of door styles and his price was about half of most of the other quotes we had received.  We said that we were in no hurry and in fact, we preferred to take our time so we could spread the payments out over a longer period of time.  Michael was totally accommodating in that regard.  When we were finally ready for the installation, the crew showed up on time and did a very professional job.  They were there for most of the day and were very clean as they worked.  The only minor issue was that the wrong color keypad lock had been sent to the job site.  A supervisor showed up and informed us that they were having the correct lock shipped overnight and that they'd be back in a day or two to install it.  True to their word, they were back in a couple days and installed the correct lock, and it works great.  We are extremely pleased with the look of our new doors, and have received many compliments from our neighbors already.  Michael called me the next day to make sure we were satisfied with everything, and I can't recommend him and his company enough if you are looking for a new front door.

Michael McCormick and his team always maintained their professionalism, courtesy, and diligence throughout the project , despite some snags in getting the custom materials ordered, then in correcting a design flaw regarding the dog door once the door was initially delivered and installed.  This necessitated several weeks of delay in getting the project finally finished to our satisfaction (in part due to the holiday season).  However, now that the door is completed, it truly is one of a kind and frankly would be a popular model for a dog owner looking for a way to have both their dog have in-and-out access, while enjoying the fresh air from outdoors without letting the bugs come in, and without being in the way.  All this in a fiberglass door with internal blinds.   <br /> Overall we were very satisfied with the way Michael and his team went out of their way to make us happy with the final result. If you're looking for a door and window expert, CSM Window and Door should be on your short list.

I had a very good experience dealing with them. They have several different variety windows which was good and they kept the place clean and did good work. The windows look beautiful when they were done. They finished everything on time and their was no problems. They kept us up to date on the installation date on when the windows came in.

Michael and alex treated us  with patience and respect. all our inquiries and needs were met and the whole experience was positive. whenever a delivery occurred, the people arrived with the windows and a smile. all the emails and phone calls were addressed in a timely fashion. this was my third time engaging with csm for various window projects in my house and i would do it again and recommend this company to others. <br />

We were preparing our house for sale wanted to replace our old aluminum windows & sliders and worn wood doors with something more attractive for better curb appeal.  We had a particularly difficult problem to deal with in replacing our rather unusual double front doors and the tall arched wood panel over them.  That entire unit is was about 13 to 14 ft. tall and needed to look cohesive with the adjacent huge front window.  The problem stumped two other contractors we called for bids. Michael worked with us to come up with something attractive and still affordable.  He also had good suggestions for other problems, such as using a 3-panel slider to replace an awkward 2-panel 10 ft. sliding glass door.  The result was a much more attractive opening. <br /> CSM?s crew was friendly and showed up promptly when expected. There were some delays in the completion of the job due to manufacturing problems with the glass in the doors and the finish on the door hardware, but once those problems were resolved the job was completed.  <br /> The new windows and doors operate well and look great. We received many compliments from neighbors once the new units were <br /> installed, and the folks living across the street liked what they saw so much, they had a new front window installed by CSM as well. <br /> I was very happy with the final product, the price, and Michael?s commitment to a quality job. I wouldn?t hesitate to recommend CSM to any friends or neighbors, and would most definitely hire them again. <br /> <br />

CSM responded immediately when I explained the repair must be done to close the sale of my house.  The service tech was very knowledgeable and  skillfully made the repair quickly.  Their charge was reasonable, with no extra fee for immediate service. <br />

The price was competitive.

CSM came in with a good price and both the doors and windows are good quality.  I painted the doors myself saving some $.  The estimator was right on time the 2 times he came to see us (initial estimate and follow-up to verify measurements and sign the contract). The installation team also arrived on time, they were very courteous and did a good job installing and cleaning up.  I'd use CSM again for any future work. <br />

The workers were on time, polite, and very clean..they did a great job ..I am very happy with the results and will be hiring them again to do some more work in the future.

The window specialist came to give an estimate and scheduled a date to complete the repair.  The same person returned to do the work.  It was not an easy task but he had the skill and patience to complete the job in a reasonable time.  Everyone I dealt with at CSM was very professional and I believe their charges were very fair.
