Major Renovation - Multiple Rooms
We paid for a multi-project quote with the owner, Kevin Smith, back in March 2026. It is now August, Kevin has received all scheduled payments from us except the final payment, totaling of $110,151.31 and all that is complete are the front path, and the side path. He has 95% of our money and refuses to communicate or finish the work. He?s asked for additional funds because someone else failed to pay him. I have worked with many contractors, but none have come close to Kevin. He has redefined my expectations and set a new standard for my personal experiences. We hired him for a complete basement renovation and bathroom installation, and the price was right. The process was seamless, conducted by a rotational set of crews. Each crew specialized in a different area, such as plumbing, electrical work, painting, and carpentry. It was well-organized and expertly executed. The job was finished in a surprisingly short amount of time without sacrificing quality, attention to detail, or budget. The living space, laundry room, and half bath were all custom-designed to our liking. Bottom line: I would hire him immediately for any project. Kevin is a true standard setter.
