well... the work was done by Ecowater Northwest who is no longer. Reason for the review is that when I stopped hearing from Ecowater Northwest, I found out they were bought out by Culligan. Which is confusing because if you google Ecowater Northwest, you get Wolfer's Heating whose website claims they now own EcoWater Northwest. It seems Culligan got all the old customer files from Ecowater Northwest and Wolfer's got the rights to carry the Ecowater brand going forward. So I called Culligan last year and they found my file from Ecowater Northwest and they said they could support me for replacement filters for the systems that EcoWater Northwest had installed in my home. Great. For a while.
Fast forward to today.. I haven't heard from Culligan since July of this year. The way Ecowater Northwest operated, they would send notices to their customers when it was time to replace filters. I have 4 different filters in my systems and sure hope Culligan is tracking it. The Ecowater RO filters are proprietary and not allowed for sale on the internet - so you are locked in to a Ecowater dealer. Who is it.. Culligan? or Wolfer's? Who's going to continue the maintenance agreement of notifying legacy Ecowater Northwest customers that it's time to replace filters?
In an effort to remediate a water potability issue with the house we were selling, I contacted Culligan based on their reputation and Angie's List. Their sales consultant Doug not only returned my call promptly, but drove 40 miles from his office to our house in rush hour traffic late on a Friday afternoon. His informal on-site water quality analysis was helpful and he quoted a fair price for a whole-house UV treatment system. The quote and accompanying paperwork were clear and as-expected, and installation was scheduled for the following week.
I don't think Culligan had to reschedule any other customers, but they definitely understood and accommodated the sense of urgency of this work. The installation went very well, using a two-person team. It only took a couple of hours and their installers were very personable and involved me in some of the installation decisions.
The final phase of Culligan's service, probably and quot;above and beyondand quot;, was Doug driving back up to the house the day after system installation to take official water samples for lab testing. Doug personally delivered the water samples to two different labs. The UV treatment system performed as expected and the lab test results were compliant.
I will contact Culligan again for any water quality issues in our new house.

We highly recommend this company! We couldn't be happier to have found such a capable company as Ecowater. They were not only prompt, thorough and clear on our initial water diagnosis but they helped to educate us as well. Aaron, in Sales, was extremely good. Part water geek part doctor he seemed genuinely interested in helping us end our water troubles, such as the orange gooey scourge that had been plaguing our system and preventing us from comfortably enjoying a shower or a simple drink. His diagnosis was spot on and we now have amazing water and being a rural property, this is important because finding competent service people let alone ones that want a long term relationship is difficult for most but as a rural home it is compounded in that most don't wish to go beyond the initial visit. Ecowater stressed that their commitment went beyond our install and offered automatic send services for our supplies which we find a smart service for our needs.

On install day, Dave and Ryan came. They were again prompt, thorough and clear on what they were going to do offering to answer any questions. They were methodical and courteous. We needed a large stainless steel holding tank filled with standing water emptied in our pump house, and though the pipe burst on Ryan showering him and the pump house with goodness knows what it was done. So that we could finally drink our water we had a reverse osmosis system installed and it by far is worth every dime because we now have the best drinking water and can stop buying bottled. The savings is huge. Our water to our fridge proved another challenge when it wouldn't work after it was connected. Dave troubleshot it as best he could but the brand was not one he was familiar with and I couldn't find the manual to assist so the decision was made to call/email in a couple of days to see if it cleared up it didn't. Now it should be noted that Ecowater chose to forgo installing the manufacturers filter parts for their own which in the end became the reason it didn't work but no worries, they fixed it! I emailed Aaron the manual downloaded from the manufacturers site and he and Dave combed it for answers even phoning French Canadian Customer Service on our behalf - now I ask what company does this? Ecowater could teach other companies about what great customer service and support looks like because they are and quot;itand quot;. A few days later, Aaron and Dave emailed us to come out with a solution to our problem. We scheduled a visit and poof! done the original equipment was installed and we now have perfect water at our fridge and ice too! Finally, Aaron gave us a free product to clean our water ring stains - it worked beautifully for sinks and shower areas. We can't thank Ecowater enough!! Great folks!

I have very hard water and wanted a unit installed. I called Ecowater Northwest because they were local and had excellent ratings on Angie's List. Aaron came to my house, answered all my questions, tested my water and recommended the two units I had installed. Dave did the installing and did an excellent job. I am very happy with the results and would recommend them to anybody that needs this type of service.

I was very satisfied. The technician was very familiar with the model even though it is 15 years old. It was a very pleasant surprise that he had the parts with him and didn't need to make a 2nd trip. He was able to take it apart to replace small pieces vs. wanting to replace larger more expensive parts.

They were prompt, professional and honest. They also found that we did not have manganese and saved us some money.
