Curb Appeal Custom Painting

Bought his coupon deal on Angie's list. Did superb work, cleaned up completely and all for a very reasonable price. But it took 2 or 3 days due to him showing up later in day and working late into evening whereas a crew would have been done in one day. Overall, outstanding work at a reasonable price and would hire again but only for small scale projects since he works by himself.

Steve did a great job painting and installing our shutters. He is professional, responsible and very thorough. Great quality work, very knowledgeable, and trustworthy. Would hire him again and highly recommend.

Great! They were very professional. They bought my paint and used their discount. And they gave me the receipt to show the the discount with no "up charge". I would definitely use them again!

He quoted to complete within 3 days (3 guys) and the cost was $2500. I think the cost was a bit high but considering that he said he could complete within 3 days, I agreed. It took him and his wife about 3 weeks to finish (I don't think he had 3 person working at all). I was very disappointed. I like he is doing my work part time, after his main job. He came either at night or on Sundays. The pain job wasn't bad, but the time he spend was extremely long. I am very disappointed. If you are not in a hurry and have a lot of time to complete a project, he might be your guy.

Best painter I have ever used but you have to be willing to wait. Had to reschedule several times but he is an excellent painter. Once he gets started he goes above and beyond.

It was a huge hassle. Painter scheduled a time/day and canceled the day before. Rescheduled for the next week but did not show, I called him and he said "I thought it was tomorrow." Email communication was clear that it was on that day. His excuse was that his wife did the scheduling and didn't remind him. This was frustrating because our house is for sale and we no longer live there, so we had to go there and wait only to find out he wasn't coming. Rescheduled again for the following week and he showed up 45 minutes late ("I thought you lived in Germantown") with only 2 painters (coupon was for 3 painters for 8 hours). He said they would paint for 12 hours to put in the time. That meant that we would have to come over and close up the house at 11 pm that night. I refused and the 2 painters worked 10 hours. Finally got the remaining 2 hours finished the following week, more than a month after buying the coupon. Reminded him twice that the front and back doors were priorities. They did not get painted. They also washed their brushes in the kitchen sink (which is porous) so I am still trying to get it clean. The only positive things I can say are that he was apologetic, seemed like a nice person, and overall seemed to do a good job painting.

It went very well. Steve was a very pleasant person to work with explaining what needed to be done before starting. They worked hard out in the heat and cleaned up when they were finished.His co-workers were just as pleasant. Prices were reasonable and I was very pleased with his work, I would definitely hire him again.

They were late getting started which put them late (the first day) finishing, but I felt they worked very hard and professionally while there. They cleaned up well afterward, too.

They arrived promptly and reviewed the work with me.  They agreed to paint the areas that I wanted painted plus cover a water stain on my ceiling.  I had recently installed granite counter tops so there were a couple areas that needed drywall repair and/or caulking so they took care of that also.  They covered my furniture and counter tops.  The job was very professional.  They worked steadily and independently.  I was able to work in my office without interruption the entire day.  They applied two coats and the results were very nice.  They insisted upon putting the furniture back in place and they left everything clean and tidy.  <br>

They did great work: professional, cleaned up everything, above and beyond-they do not cut any corners and make sure the job is done right. I can see why they are so busy. I would use them again for any painting needs. <br />

They started about 10 am and worked a long, full day. We were impressed with their careful prep work and attention to detail. We were afraid we had overreached in our expectations as to how much painting could be done in a day. They worked diligently until the entire job we had laid out was completed. Nothing was left undone. We are very pleased with their work and wouldn't hesitate to hire them again. <br />

Steve was great. Painted and fixed a hole in the wall in our bathroom. We had an issue with the previous paint in the living room. It appeared that the previous person who painted it did not prime the plaster wall first. When Steve primed the wall the last two coats of paint just peeled of like wall paper. <br /> This was a setback that Steve took in stride and did not deter him from doing the job right. He scrapped all the walls and primed them properly then added two coats of paint. He even painted all the trim after scrapping it, as well. <br /> He did a great job and it took no time at all. <br /> Plan on using him again. <br />

Steve and his crew (2-3 people total each day) did a great job repainting the exterior of my house. I wanted a fresh coat of paint but Curb Appeal did so much more. They thoroughly caulked & filled all gaps in mortar prior to painting. They replaced old soffit vents, custom building new vents with mesh and picture frame moulding. They pressure washed the house (and my back deck) prior to painting, and replaced rotted wood. They also noticed my paint samples weren't adhering well and ended up priming the house prior to painting. After painting they hung new shutters and my mailbox. They also ensured I did not have any questions or concerns before leaving. Curb Appeal was not my lowest bid and the project took longer than I expected. However, I am extremely pleased with the final product. Steve seems like an honest guy, and I'd much rather pay a little more and wait a little longer to get the job done right. <br />

Steve and Cheryl were meticulous with the prep work and attention to detail. The final product is beautiful. This team of 3 paid a lot of attention to details like caulking if needed and applying a very thick coat of paint. It was very hot and they had to take breaks to cool off, but stuck with it and got it done. I had to schedule them for a 2nd visit to finish. I think the heat probably cost me a couple of hours of breaks, but I needed the house painted and it was very hot. Steve the main painter did spray painting and when he got on a roll, he was really productive. they had a little problem with their spray equipment the 1st day but the 2nd day if worked well. They had some personal emergencies that required a reschedule of the 1st visit, they forgot the 2nd scheduled visit, but came out the next day. All in all, aside from scheduling issues, I appreciate their work and believe the cost compared to the result and having to work with their schedule, is an excellent buy for a quality service. Steve and his crew were great. They went above and beyond in one room that had some molding that Steve removed and then patched where needed. They even offered to share their lunch with me! I would definitely use them again. Thank you! <br />

They did a good job on painting but they were late both days. I got the deal three painters for 8 hours they didn't get it all done in 8 hours came back the next day and worked another 7 with only two. It still cost me less than some other companies. <br />
