Curtis Clemons Interior - Exterior Painting

Curtis Clemons is great. Right on time and good quality work. When I needed them, he kept in touch with me and got the job done. I asked them to do additionally in another room and there was just a very small fee for that. We already had the paint, but it was next to thing. It was just a strip of wood in one of the other bedrooms. There weren't additional fees for the room that we asked them to paint. They're A plus. For quality of work, A plus. For responsiveness, definitely A plus. Professionalism is very much A. I'll absolutely use them again.

It was worth much more than what Curtis charged. He was very cordial, worked well with our schedule and could be trusted to be in our home alone.

<p>Curtis Clemons Interior and Exterior Painting was hired November of last year to paint the exterior of my house, including window frames.  It was agreed that he would take down the screens and storm windows.  He agreed to paint the window frames and clean all windows including the storm windows.  After cleaning he was to put the screens and storm windows back and reseal the storm windows.   Mr. Clemons agreed, in writing, to return within a few weeks after the painting was completed to fix any issues and do any touchups needed   Several issues were found and when speaking with Mr. Clemons, over the phone, he agreed to come back in a couple of weeks.  It has now been over five months.  He has promised several times over the course of that period to come back.  He never shows and has stopped returning my calls.  Originally, I thought his price was good but if I have to hire someone else to fix and complete the work, it was not.</p> <p>1.  Storm windows were not cleaned throughly.<br></p> <p>2.  Sides of garage door were not painted.</p> <p>3.  Overhangs of top level were not painted.</p> <p>4.  Screen was bent when replaced, now rattles when windy.</p> <p>5.  Tape left on storm window and sealed. </p> <p>6.  Originally a five gallon bucket of paint was supplied by me (per Mr. Clemons request).  He needed one more gallon of  paint, so I used the original sample to purchase one more gallon.  It ended up being a shade off.  Since Mr. Clemons took the original five gallon bucket with him he agreed to return at least the lid, to get the paint fixed.  At this point I have spots in some areas that are lighter.</p> <br>

It went well. It took a little while to get started because we had excessive rain that month but Curtis called often to inform us of the time frame of beginning the job, once the rain stopped they were here everyday, and checked with us at the start of each day to ensure that we were happy with the work they had done. He advised us in areas we were not aware of and was extremely detail oriented. Anything that we pointed out as concerns he quickly attended to without complaint. we are very satisfied with the work he and his team did. <br />

Curtis promptly called me to schedule an appointment, then met me at the appointed time after calling to confirm earlier in the day. He did a superb job of painting-- the walls look great, and he was very careful with the millwork, carpet, etc. He moved all the furniture and fixtures, then put everything back as it was, and he was unfailingly cheerful and polite. Bonus: he worked quickly. I am delighted with the paint job and would happily hire him again for any size interior or exterior painting job. <br />

The painter didn't even need to tape the baseboards when painting because if his skill level. <br />

Mr. Clemons? work is beautiful and of the highest quality!  He is a conscientious and diligent worker, and is unfailingly polite and considerate.  His estimate of how much paint would be needed was exactly what was needed.  Mr. Clemons definitely knows his trade and delivers superior value for the money.  My house looks brand new!  I wish every contractor had Mr. Clemons?skills, ethics, and attitude. <br />

Amazing! We had used Curtis before for painting projects but never for just caulking. He is just as gifted with a caulk gun as he is with a paint brush. He arrived right on time and after I gave him a tour of the house and what I wanted done, he went right to work. Every caulk bead was as even and as straight as I've ever seen. He really is gifted. Curtis even noticed a couple of areas that I had missed and he made some suggestions to get a better outcome ad he did it all for the already agreed upon price. Curtis is a very nice man and nice to have around while he works. He is easy to work with and works hard to make sure you're happy with his work- which is easy to do since he does such a great job anyway. He also cleans up after himself. I have never had to go behind him after he leaves to clean up. He has already done everything that needed to be done. We will be doing some painting work on the trim of our brick house this summer and we'll be calling Curtis to help us with that. If you have any questions about his specials give him a call. He always answers promptly and if he has to get back to you he is quick with the return call. It is great to have someone so dependable on the job.

Amazing! This man is a true artist with a paint brush. He was able to get all the blue covered up or removed from the ceiling and all the spots on the base boards. After he fixed all those problems, he then applied a beautiful color to the walls and the room just sparkles from all of his hard work. He caulked, scraped and fixed what needed to be done to get the room the way I wanted it. Mr. Clemons not only does a very through job and is very dependable (he always shows up on time) but he also cleans up after himself and leaves the area better looking and cleaner than he found it. He is also very pleasant to work with. He's a really nice man and if you're going to have someone working in your home for a day or two, it's great to have such a nice person around. I have more work to be done on the outside of the house and he will be doing the work for us then.

Curtis did an outstanding job! He comes right in, goes straight to work, he doesn't play around. He's very neat, professional and I will definitely retain his services again! As far as I'm concerned, he's the best painter I've seen in Huntsville with reasonable prices, and I've had work done by several painters but they don't even come close to the quality work he provides in a timely manner. Definitely a cut above and beyond the competition. I wouldn't use anyone else! Thanks Curtis!

The provider showed up on time and went right to work. I supplied the primer and paint and he provided the labor. He was able to complete both the priming and painting in the day. Note, it was a perfect day for painting outside. By the time he had finished the initial prime side, it had dried and he immediately started on the painting. The finish product looks great. The only way that you knew he was here by the finish product. He cleaned up everything and you could not tell he was even here. I definitely would use him again. In fact, I have asked for an estimate on painting our two bathrooms. I plan to have him come back and do our bathrooms. He did a great job.

Curtis showed up every morning on time and went right to work. Curtis has over 33 years experience painting and it shows! We had just bought a house that is new to us but needed repainting to match our furniture. He painted two master suites, another bedroom, the living room and foyer, the dining room above the chair rail, 1/2 the eat in kitchen above the chair rail and the rest of the kitchen. He never once dropped any paint or got any paint on the crown or edging. He is truly a master with a brush and a roller. I have been around for many a decade and I have never seen any one as talented with paint. Curtis also made a couple of design suggestions that we had not considered before and went with them, since they were such good ideas. The whole house now looks amazing. He is very pleasant to be around for the couple of days he worked at our house and we feel so lucky to have found him. He also does handyman work. Gutter cleaning, pressure washing, etc., for a very affordable price. We now have him on speed dial!
