Curt's experience and design ideas helped us complete our vision of converting a screened in porch to a 3 season sun room. His knowledge and friendliness was above anything else we had experienced previously. He is a credit to the industry and sustained a high level of quality work through his team of sub-contractors. Hired Curt Curts to hang 6 4x8 sheets of pegboard, install two cabinets, instal 3 shelves 8' long and hang 4 overhead storage racks. Did not come every day as expected. Always some excuse after the fact the next day. A one week job took two weeks. Paid in advance for legs to be shortened on 3 chairs. Did one, then agreed to do it two other times but did not show up. I paid for racks separately from Hone Depot.

our subfloor had sank on the North end of our home we wanted to have it fixed before we he layed the carpet. Curt and his guys did an amazing job leveling the floor and completing carpet installation in my. I would definitely recommend him to others. Curt is also an excellent custom home builder. <br />

The poured aggregate patio that came with our home initially was difficult to keep clean and due to age had become an eyesore more than anything else. We decided that replacing it with pavers was the best option for us. The results exceeded our expectations and we frequently receive compliments on the patio and walkway. Working with Mr. Curts and his team was great ? All very professional and conscientious. They were also open to new ideas during construction, a few which required Yankee ingenuity to accomplish. We?re glad we went with Curts Construction and would do so again in the future. <br />

If this builder responds to this review, he will say I am the worst customer he ever had as that is what he told me to my face. He also criticized me for wanting his work to be "perfect" telling me that no one is perfect yet he expected his checks to be perfect because he has to make a living. Or, he will turn all professional and say I am such a nice lady but we just didn't get along. Buyer beware here. <br /> <br /> His contract states that any additional costs will be discussed prior to the work being done and agreed upon in writing. Nope! Extras were done and then I was given bills for thousands of dollars. <br /> <br /> The sliding glass door was supposed to match the exterior of the house but he installed a white door. He then painted it with a latex pInt that wipes off with a paper towel and refuses to replace the door. He wants to sand the door and repaint. This explicitly voids the warranty. He refuses to do anything. <br /> <br /> I could go on but you get the idea.

We had purchased a big deal for the service. I am pretty disappointed for what I paid, and what I got. Maybe my expectations were different, but basically I saw the ad and I thought that they would do a detailed plan, and measurements and all that kind of stuff, and come in and lay things out, and I will give them ideas as to what I want and put it together. He basically just sketched out what I told him I was thinking of doing, and he gave us a laid out kitchenette. It certainly wasn't worth 100 Dollars. He said that he doesn't make any money, and hoped that we would do the job, and he would money from there. He got his prospect opportunity, I paid the 100 Dollars, and he got a bad prospect. He saw that I was a do-it-myself kind of a guy and he moved on to his next candidate. I liked the guy, and he was a fine contractor, I just don't think it was a real value for me. He was on top of it, he set up an appointment quickly, and got things together, bottom line is that it was not worth 100 Dollars.

We have put out bathroom remodel off till last because we had no idea what to do. The layout was terrible and it needed a professional to come up with a proper idea. Curt Curts responded to my email right away and we scheduled a date for him to come by. He showed up on time with everything to take proper measurements and offer some ideas. Curt took a lot of time to see what we were looking for, go over different concepts and ever re-draw the plan for us. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Initially we were going to take the plan and have someone we have used several times in the past to complete the remodel. He was so pleasant, professional and understanding we decided to hire his company. They have built some incredible homes and done some very high-end remodels so we are very excited to get started. We just signed the deal and will update with the end result, but if it goes anything like the experience we have had thus far we will undoubtedly be very pleased. <br />

We heard back from Mr. Curts in an appropriate time frame and we scheduled a time for him to come out which he arrived on time. <br />We went over our ideas for the basement and he took some measurements, then left. <br />It has been three weeks and we still have no plans!!! I called him last Monday, October 7 and he said he would send us the plans by Wed. or last Friday for sure, still nothing!! <br />

After getting several quotes for my basement finish, I decided to hire Curts Construction due to price and my schedule. Curt Curts kept me up to date with the progression and answered all my questions in a timely manner and was helpful in giving advice with some of the issues. The basement turned out terrific and was only a little over the price originally quoted due to a few more lights added which I was aware of. Curt was pleasant to work with and I would definitely use him again for another project. <br />

From the day I met Chris Curts to the end of our project he was professional, nice, knowledgeable, had good ideas for designs and was very pleasant to work with. I knew when workers would be here and when they would not be here. All the people working on my home were nice to be around and very knowledgeable about their field. I would definitely hire this company again when I have a project that needs their expertise.

I had a bid for $2000 from another contractor. When they came out and jacked up the frame, they became concerned that the problem was worse than they thought and told me it would be over $3000. At that point I decided to get a second bid. Curt came out, took a look at the problem and gave me an initial bid of $2100, and cautioned me that he wouldn't be sure until he could get into it... it could be more. <br /> <br /> I awarded the job to Curt. The first thing he did was to cut away some of the drywall on the interior of the garage so he could inspect the beam. Once he did that, he realized that the beam was fine, it was strictly an issue of the bricks not being properly anchored to the wall. He was able to complete the work in a couple of days. While he had the brick mason on site, he also did a few odd mortar repairs for me in other areas of the house. <br /> <br /> When he was all done, he only charged me $1300! I can't remember the last time a project came in under the initial bid. Curt's work was excellent, his team very professional. I plan to use them again for future projects around the home in the future.

Curts was the original builder of our house. The work, attention to detail and workmanship were outstanding. During both projects Curt was always onsite and unlike many contractor, with a hammer or some other tool in his hand. If we had and issue or concern he took care of it immediately. We have over twenty years experience with Curts and he would be our FIRST choice for any remodeling or building project.

Curt does quality work and the final product does reflect our wishes, but he frequently forgot things we asked for and left them off estimates. We experienced a change in cost for multiple small items and we had to micromanage the project so things were not forgotten or missed. The project took longer to complete than expected and getting the last final retouches done took multiple phone calls. We do really like our rooms now but it could have been easier to get the end result.
