Ok... <br />

Installers were very polite and professional.  The company owner was the estimator and came out to give his recommendations and options for the install.  He was very easy to work with and professional. <br />

When we had a new dishwasher installed we noted that when the wiring had been punched through the wall behind it, it left a fairly large hole which was open to our crawlspace allowing cold air or possibly small critters a way inside our house.  We also had had a new wall switch installed recently which required cutting a 1 1/2 foot square hole in the drywall below it.  Both holes were patched very professionally.  The existing wall texture was matched below the switch as well.  The work was fast and you'd never know that there were holes in either location now.  Well done!  <br />

The handle on the door does not work as well after they put the weather proofing on. We have no idea what to do now. They were nice guys but we were disappointed with their work.

I had them come back twice.  Once because door bell chime and outlet plates were not straight and another time because one of the new light switches was shorting out.  They fixed them all satisfactorily.

He did a good job.

Went great, even better than I planned.  They gave suggestions that really enhanced the entire kitchen. <br />

Installers were less than professional but competent enough. I provided all 3 fixtures new in the box but they still had to go for parts at least twice. They said they would come back with a switch wall plate to fit the dimmer switch they provided but I never heard from them again. <br />

Robert and his crew were absolutely the best team to work with. We have had contractors out to our place to do various fix it and small remodel projects, but none of them have performed as well as Robert and his crew. They are amazingly flexible, partnering with us when we asked for changes or new additions to the plan. Robert clearly communicated the changes in cost and time based on my new requests and provided suggestions on how to make our remodel even better. He allowed us to buy many of the the supplies from Home Depot which helped us finance the cost. Robert would explain everything that he was going to do and what he needed ahead of time - no surprises. He and his team were also there when they said they were going to be, did exactly what they said they would do and we could not be happier with the results or the process to get us there. Everyday they cleaned up their work areas, leaving the place livable for us since we stayed the duration of the tear out and rebuild. They took all the construction debris with them regularly so there were never any big piles that lasted. The crew had amazing attention to detail and were very personable to work with and respected our family. Often times even helping me carry groceries in from the car. Our home is BEAUTIFUL!  We love it! The work has increased the value and the livability. They will be my first choice for all of our home projects in the future. Thank you CDC!

He was great about coming back in the rain to fix the skylight like he <br /> promised, and went out of his way to be helpful and do some small things for me. He was clearly eager to prove himself.  <br /> I understood his business to be a new solo venture, and he was clearly eager to make himself the dependable contractor he aspires to be.  <br /> My only real faults are the delicate and difficult matter of interpersonal skills.  I just did not quite click in a way that made me want to use his services again, though there was no fault with the services themselves. <br /> Someone else may be more comfortable. <br />

Custom Design & Construction was alright.

They put moldings over a closet and punctured the tracks so the doors couldn't slide.  That created an extra job for my husband who had to redo it.  One window they framed and did a good job the other had a few gaps that I can fix with caulk.  The closet they framed was uneven by about a half inch on one side.  So good job for getting a few things finished but not very detail oriented. <br />

i purchased a "big deal" a while ago for 3 hours of contractor services and boy, it was an awesome deal. They came in and finished up some things that i just didn't have the time and tools to finish up. They were friendly, fast, and did a great job. I will definitely use them in the future. The deals on Angie's list is a great way to try out a company without it costing too much.

I bought the Big Deal last October for 3 hours of handyman time. I called Robert in March to explain what I wanted done and to arrange a time. Robert and his son came out at the schedule time today and very quickly and professionally completed the work. I was very impressed with their efficiency and the quality of their work.

After purchasing the coupon for 3 hours of service for $99, I contacted Custom Design & Construction to set up an appointment. A date for service was arranged within a few days of my call and 2 Gentlemen arrived promptly at the designated time and quickly did the work desired. I was very pleased with the service and would be happy to have them come again if the need arises.

We are very happy with his work. We will definitely use him in the future! <br />

I think the company was overwhelmed with response to the Fall 2012 offer, b/c it took a while to get a response.  However, when I reached them and got the job scheduled they were prompt and quick.  They ripped out old mailbox and replaced with new in concrete. Very good job, and I would use them again. <br />

Overall it went well <br />

Arrived on time. Had to go to nearby Home Depot for supplies, did not charge me for travel time. Did work well <br /> Bought services off of Angie's list deal. Cost me more than the cost of voucher. Overall happy with work.

Two separate visits to firm up design. Customized the install to my wife's precise needs. Adjusted original materials choice to make it more affordable. He customized the desk and cabinet dimensions to precisely fit walls that were out-of-plumb. Excellent wood finish (stain). Excellent trim work. Good cleanup. Beautiful final product. He went out of his way to meet our needs, even when there were some modifications. Highly recommend.

I hired Robert again after trying him out from a Big Deal.  The molding on my exterior doors were in dire need of repair from dry rot and he spent a lot of time fixing them and making them look like new again.  He scheduled the work in a timely manner, showed up on time and was professional in his work.  When he  had to leave to get more Bondo, he did not charge me for the time.  I am happy with the work performed and will use him again.  One other thing-he wears booties in my house.  I have had repairmen tromp in my house with dirty shoes which always leaves a mess for me to clean up later, so NOT wearing booties is a deal-breaker for me.

Robert initiated contact after I purchased a big deal to find out what I needed done and to let me know that he would contact me again in the near future to schedule a date for the repairs.  He contacted me later to set a date, then showed up on time and did the repairs to my satisfaction.  I appreciate his follow-through and professionalism.  I ended up hiring him again for more repairs.
