Project: Remodel a Bathroom Under no circumstances would I recommend this company. Their first mistake was that they placed the tile in the shower, so that it was impossible to install a glass shower door. Oh well... did anyone say , "We'll fix it ??" NO !!! Did I see Doug (the owner) come to my house to rectify this issue ??? NO !!! When the gentleman from Spring Hill Glass came to my house, he was very honest. He stated, " I can install it, but it will not be to your satisfaction." When Doug, the owner, heard this, he was furious. He accused Spring Hill Glass of "being lazy" ... Really ??? So.. rather than remove all of the installed tile, I decided to choose a custom shower curtain ( not my first choice, but I was OK with this). Katy ( the wife of the owner) found a company, Bling King, in Tampa. They came to my house... were very professional, & quoted a price. Katy was present at this meeting. She told the lady from Bling King to sent her a invoice for the shower curtain. Three weeks later, having not heard anything from anybody ... I called Blind King. The had sent the invoice, but heard nothing from Katy. When I called Katy to inquire, she put her husband, Doug, on the phone (screaming at me). He told me that I needed to pay for the shower curtain, because it was my choice... Seriously ?? (Remember, I have already paid for a glass shower door). Anyway, I sent Blind King a check for the shower curtain, that I didn't want. At this point, I wanted this nightmare to be over. Unfortunately, this was not to be, I have no vanity in my bathroom. Doug & Katy kept blaming this delay on the "cabinet people." Thanks to the honesty of some of their employees, I came to find out that THEY HAVE NO CABINET PEOPLE. The person who built my vanity, did not have the knowledge to make the doors. I am now, 6 months into this project, with a unfinished bathroom. They do not return my phone calls. These people are pathetic !! They should be in jail !!!

DO NOT HIRE. We paid them out of our hard earned savings and they have not completed work. They are con artists and thieves. I don't know how they can sleep at night. We have 7 phone numbers for them and if the mailboxes are not full, we leave a message and they will not return our calls. They demode the bathroom October 17, 2017 and all we have is a tub they installed and wall tile which one they installed broken and very poor workmanship on other tiles. We have fired them. Shame on them and shame on Angie's List for advertising them.

We contacted them & spoke to Katie & Doug (owners) to schedule an appointment to share our vision, review our project and visit their showroom during our next visit to FL in 1 week. We only had 1 day (Saturday) for both & they accommodated us. First we met with Doug to review the project and our goals. This was followed by a visit to their showroom (complete with nice selection of materials) to consult with Katie. Both listened to our needs & after spending the day with them we immediately had confidence in their business, skill, & experience. Having been through several remodels previously, this was the very first time we found a perfect fit the first time around. We walked out of their showroom with a contract in hand, materials selected & a targeted start date for our project. With the first major milestone behind house, we had only one concern. Being a coast away, we were wary how to ensure our project was being executed to plan, both in quality and efficiency. In retrospect, we are pleased to inform you this was never an issue. The demolition phase was as expected. Katie & Doug remained in constant communication throughout the process; Skyping & photosharing & highlighting any issues and working together with us to find acceptable solutions. Overall there were no major issues, rather the typical findings of renovating a space more than 30 years old. Our project scope was a complete redo from the ground up. Next phase was the installation, everything from new plumbing, flooring (porcelain tile), shower (porcelain tile/quartz), wood cabinetry, quartz countertops, eletrical/lighting (canned lighting, light fixtures, and lit medicine cabinets), etc. The installation is where the attention to detail matters most. We were absolutely impressed with their meticulous workmanship & strong attention to detail throughout the remodel. As the project completed, Katie & Doug performed a quality control check of their work to ensure it met their high standards & our expectations as the customer. We did a walk through together to ensure nothing was missed. All punch list items (all minor) where promptly addressed to our extreme satisfaction. Being able to complete a major renovation on time & to budget & remotely is a huge achievement. Thank you Custom Design Kitchen & Bath, Doug, Katie, & Crew! We love our new home! We are absolutely tickled to have met Katie & Doug and their entire crew & look forward to doing business with them again (next project is already in the queue). The job went fantastic. Katie was a big help with our selection of colors and patterns. Doug was always available to answer questions or concerns and to oversee the project. The level of detail and accountability they displayed surpassed my expectations. The pride and quality they put into our home satisified this "detail oriented" customer. They have my vote of confidence and I would be happy to refer them to others.

Doug and Katie were great from the initial consultation, material selection, through demo and actual remodel work. They worked closely with us to make sure that all our questions were answered and concerns addressed. We requested a couple changes during the remodel and they were quick to respond. The team that worked on our project were friendly, informative and worked to make sure we were completely satisfied. Great Job!!!

This was the first time a company that said they'd exceed my expectations and actually did. As a widow doing a major renovation like this alone is scary to a degree, I set out to get 3 estimates when I started. Custom Design was the only one that I felt truly cared and listened to what I wanted, they were more than the other two estimates but I've learned you get what you pay for and this remodel proved that tenfold. There's not one thing that could of gone better, from the constant communication to their installers Tony, Mike, and Larry that went above and beyond daily to keep my home as clean as possible throughout the renovation.

Went very well, they're a very close family that owns this comoney and that's what attracted us to them at first. Read up on their reviews of attention to detail and they did not disappointment on our job either. We had a very large project and the General Contractor was on site almost the entire project which impressed us and made us feel more comfortable. My only regret is I wish we actually went to the granite yard to look at the full slabs as it's hard to really tell with the little sample pieces, either way we lover everything and we've gotten lots of compliments.
