Custom Hardwood Floors and More

Went great! Stewart was very knowledgeable when I first spoke with him on the phone. He insisted he come over and see the area he was carpeting to make sure he could guarantee a quality install. With that over I made sure I had the area ready for him and the carpet and glue here. Stewart was right on time, unfortunately I was 8 minutes late, but after that he got straight to work installing the nearly 200 sq ft. of carpet from one continuous roll. All I can say is that I could not do that. He got it done in 8 hours, and the end result is a nice clean and flat install where the carpet went right up and under all my trim. The stairs look great too. I am very happy and will hire him again when renovate my upstairs.

It went awful. He was extremely unprofessional, didn't communicate when he would come or go, didn't take his shoes off or protect the flooring. We had to help him carry all the wood in the house and all of his equipment upstairs. He spilled varnish over my existing hardwood flooring and didn't clean it, made dents on the walls, let the saw dust go into my blinds, split the wood molding and didn't mention it, broke my front door lock, ....made a complete mess everywhere he went. When I told him I was done with the job after he completed 2/4 bedrooms, he wouldn't refund me the remaining overpaid $$$.
