In the beginning very responsive to needs, went out of way to help me find what I was looking for. Once cabinets were in after about 2-3 weeks had problem with door, came and fixed promptly. However once check cashed, in 4 months door problems again, screws not properly placed and doors won't closed properly. Have called and left message 3 separate times with no response. Apparently they do not stand behind their product or workmanship. Very disappointed in company. Would not recommend or hire again. Old cabinets were 14 yrs old and I never had a door problem.

.After setting up the start date, with the kitchen completely emptied, with boxes all around the house. I was informed the they could not start for another TWO WEEKS. After Two weeks they started , removed all the doors, and measured for new ones. The job went very slowly, and they did a, " very sloppy job", after many errors, they sent a new carpenter, and he was able to fix many errors. The original carpenter was not paid by Ideal Kitchen, and He tried to put a lien on my house.Danny attorney was able to handle this matter. After three months the finish on the cabinets started wearing off. Calls to Ideal Kitchen, fell upon deaf ears.To say I am totally unhappy with this JOB is an understatement. A constant reminder of this job, is my wife. I am still scrapping glue from the cabinets
I received a quote of $6,550 from Mr. Sanchez to do the work we needed, but before making a final decision, I told him that I wanted to talk with my husband. He told me that I had to give him a 50% deposit in order to secure the price. I was under the impression that this would be a hold and not a complete charge, because this is customary in this line of business. After some research and discussion (within 3 business days) we decided not to move forward with Ideal Kitchen. When I contacted Mr. Sanchez to let him know, he immediately became angry and he told me that material was already custom made for my job and that he would not refund my deposit. It is important to note that, again, not only did I tell him that I wanted to talk to my husband before making a final decision, but we agreed that, if I decided to go with his company, the work would not start until 4-6 weeks from our first meeting. We decided to meet at my residence to talk about the situation and he was very angry and unprofessional and ended up walking out. Again, this occurred 3 Business Days after we had met!! Mr. Sanchez has not contacted me to discuss or deliver the material he alleges that he has. I submitted a dispute to AMEX to receive my $3,275 back, and at the last minute, Mr. Sanchez sent fraudulent documentation to AMEX telling them that he had delivered some items to me and that they had no record that I had returned it to them. He did, however contact me via email on March 16, 2016 with an attempt to EXTORT $500 from me. Mr. Sanchez told me that if I wired $500 to him, he would no longer contest the AMEX dispute!! He is still contesting the dispute with AMEX. I never signed a contract authorizing any work and I never saw any agreement with any cancellation policies from Ideal Kitchen. There WAS NO BINDING AGREEMENT. The deposit, which I authorized in January of 2016 was supposed to be ONLY to HOLD the quote that he had given me. I never want anyone else to go through the stress that this situation has caused our family. We have used Angie's List with confidence in the past but consumers really need to be aware that, sadly, establishments such as Ideal Kitchen and Danny Sanchez do exist. I strongly recommend that you AVOID this company at all costs.
After looking at 4 different companies to completely remodel our kitchen, we chose Ideal Kitchen and Bath and we had no regrets. We went with Ideal because of the amazing design. They capture everything we were asking for as well as gave us a few things we didn't know we wanted. They stand behind their design and truly care about delivering a quality product, their crew even went the extra mile to ensure everything was done well, delivered our kitchen on time and on budget. Me and my family have remodel two kitchens before this one and I have to tell Ideal and their crew they are a true pleasure to work with and the end results left me speechless. Many thanks for the great job!
We recently used Ideal Kitchen and Bath to remodel our kitchen. We are very happy with our new kitchen! As far as I am concerned, it was a pretty big job between demo, new cabinets in existing and new locations, new countertops, adding a large island, etc.
All the workers at Ideal Kitchen and Bath were very helpful and easily accessible. Danny and his crew absolutely wanted to please us with all of the design work. He came over our house many times, even met me at my office to drop of cabinet samples. Definitely made us feel like we were important clients.
Everyone that worked in our kitchen did a really nice job with the construction. They said it was going to be a 3 week job and the only reason that it took 4 weeks is that we asked them to do more stuff than we originally intended. Everyone on the team worked really hard, and even came on weekends to get the job done.
We did our homework on this company and talked to previous clients of theirs and even a close friend of mine recommended them to us, now I recommend them to any one remodeling their kitchen.
Danny Sanchez was extremely professional and responsive in the initial sale of the remodeling job. We signed the contract on June 5 2015 and told Danny that there was no rush since we were leaving town mid July and would not return till mid August. We were assured by Danny that he could have the job done prior to our leaving as long as he received all of the materials from his vendors.

The job was started on July 15 and again was assured that everything would be completed prior to our departure on July 18. From that point on it was a disaster. The job was not finished before we departed and all that Danny was interested in was getting paid. The contract called for payments in stages. Payment on installation of the granite, payment on installation of cabinet doors. Ideal Kitchen and Bath received payment in a timely manner but the job has never been completed. I have held back money because a cabinet panel was damaged and has never been installed, some of the bathroom cabinet doors have not been hung correctly, the crew reinstalling the microwave in the kitchen stripped out the supporting screws and they have never been replaced, a bathroom cabinet drawer had a hinge broken and has not been replaced, there was damage done to moulding on my countertop and it is still broken, the installers left caulking all over the kitchen cabinets and when the person Danny sent over tried to clean it, he used a solvent which has damaged the finish on the new cabinet doors and trim, the light bar that was in the contract has never been installed.

The last time we saw Danny or anyone from Ideal Kitchen and Bath was August 31. At that time Danny attempted to install the missing end panel with the one that had been damaged and then repaired. I was not happy and told him that he had from mid July to mid August while we were gone to get a new one. He was somewhat disgusted and was surprised that I would not accepted the inferior panel. I was told that it would take roughly two weeks to get a new panel. I attempted to contact Danny last Friday Sept. 18 and never had a response. i waited till today to contact both Danny and Ideal Kitchen and have had no response to my emails, texts or phone calls.

My experience with Ideal Kitchen and Bath has not been a good one, and I would not recommend them.

Ronald Hain

Danny is the guy who runs the operation and his father is one of the workers who comes and installs the cabinets. Danny's father is one of the nicest people anyone in our family have ever met period and it was a joy to have him in our home. The granite we chose was upgraded and we got to choose the cut/bevel. We were able to expand our kitchen by a bit and totally improve the look of our house for minimal cost.

It started well. Danny says everything you want to hear. He is quite a gentlemen in the beginning, but once he got my deposit, he was done. Apparently, if things don't go perfectly, he gets quite a temper. He was not enjoyable to work with at all. In the end, he said not to call him anymore, and gave me another number to call. After my kitchen counters were measured and ordered, I was told that I had to hire a plumber to unhook my sink and dishwasher because they don't do that. What? A company remodels your kitchen and cannot do the whole job? So I did. Then I get a call from Danny that he wants to do the job a day earlier. I told him that I already had a plumber coming on the assigned date. I tried to change the date with my plumber, but was unable to. Danny said not to worry, that one of his workers could do it. So my counters arrived and one of the workers disconnected my sink and dishwasher. Danny charged me $90.00!!! Then he wanted the total payment for everything! He said that the guys would be done in an hour. So I payed him. He reassured me that he would email the invoice immediately. To this day, I HAVE NEVER SEEN THE INVOICE!!! Everything went down hill from there. My stove didn't fit . The guys raised it 2 inches above my counter to push it in and it was still 3 inches away from the wall. It looked ridiculous! My dishwasher was pushed back in and was 11/2 inches below the counter, and not level with the sides of the counter. My old sink was removed and Danny's crew took my garbage disposal. Nothing was hooked back up. When my own plumber arrived, he couldn't do anything...the hardware was missing and so was the garbage disposal. When I called Danny, he told me that I would have to drive to their shop and pick it up myself because he said that he only had 1 guy at the shop and he couldn't allow him to leave. Very upset, I drove to the shop, only to see 5 men working there. My old ceramic sink with the garbage disposal still in tack was sitting on a trailer. I only needed the garbage disposal and hardware but the men said, "sorry", they had NO TOOLS so I had to take the whole sink back home with me. It was so heavy, they loaded it in my trunk and I had to take the whole thing home. My own plumbers saw that my garbage disposal was so damaged probably from being thrown on the trailer, and suggested that I get a new one. I tried to discuss it with Danny, but he didn't want to hear it! I sent pictures of my stove and finally the owner/boss came back and grinded the granite down so my stove would fit properly. They would not fix the dishwasher so I had to hire a handyman to come and make it right. And still, I never received an invoice. In the end I payed a total of $3,090. $1455.00 for 35 sq. ft of granite. I was charged $1,505. for the extra 13 ft. needed for my kitchen!!! And the 2.5 sq. ft. cut out for my sink was not returned to me...even though I paid for it and asked for it back. Danny said it was discarded. NO I WOULD NOT USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN!

There was a misunderstanding in the signed agreement. Danny took the lead in reviewing the contract with me and without my realizing it he skipped over the portion that said plumbing and electrical were not included in the price. Needless to say I was shocked when the carpenter asked when the plumber was coming. I must accept some responsibility for this be cause this was in the contract with bold italics. I just did not pick it up and Danny never mentioned it. Be cause of this delay and other subsequent delays Danny did absorb this cost when final payment was made and therefore the original agreed upon price did not change.

Shortly after the job started there was a disagreement between Danny and the carpenter. I believe this was over payment from a previous job. This resulted in the carpenter packing up his tools and taking the cabinets with him leaving my wife an I without a useable kitchen for a longer time then necessary. Danny did then find another carpenter who came in and finished the job

It has now been a about a year since the job was finished and I have the following problems.

1) A faucet handle in the bathroom sink is coming loose.

2) An electrical outlet in the granite backsplash has become dislodged.

  3) A cabinet drawer now binds when opening it and sometimes it appears it is off its track as it comes out at a slant.

  4) The bottom of one of the drawers is separating from the frame of the drawer.

I called Danny about these problems and he said he was ill so I told him I would contact him in about ten days. I have since called his office and cell phone numerous times and received no answer nor does he return the call when I leave a message. I have gone to his advertised address at Castello Dr. and I find no Ideal Kitchen & Bath listing on the buildings directory. I have also gone to his address at Westview Dr. and was told by an adjacent business that he moved out sometime ago. Both these addresses are on his web site.

I should also note that when the plasterers were here they used my outside water hose to clean up. This was fine with me except that when they left they turned off the water at the end of the hose instead of at the faucet. As a result the hose broke from the pressure of water and when I came home the water was running ruing down the street gutters and into the main street. Not to mention my broken hose and next water bill.

Needless to say, I would not recommend using Ideal Kitchen & Bath to anyone.

Note that I am no longer a member of Angies List, not because of Ideal Kitchen and Bath, but because we are finally settled and do not a need in the foreseeable near future.

It was a horrible experience! All he wanted was final payment and could not even finish the job right !We had him back 3 times to fix the issues and and its still not right. I paid him the money just to get him and his crappy business away from me! The very worst contractor I have seen yet in SW florida! Trust me this guy needs to go to business ethic classes and take some pride in his work.i ask him if he new what good business was and I don't think he still got it!
Renovated kitchen for investment property with new cabinets and counter tops. Ideal's new cabinets were built by good Florida supplier using quality materials. Cabinet paint work was via local paint shop and of good quality. Electrical, plumbing and tile backsplash were not offered (so additional are contractors needed). New appliances added from other sources as well. Granite was incorrectly estimated for kitchen and a second slab was eventually used as part of a bathroom rework with resurfaced cabinets. and new cabinet doors. Lead carpenter on kitchen project was highly skilled. Small amounts of rework were required on each project but overall Mr Sanchez and the crew members or subcontractors were responsive.
After calling other companies, I finally choose Ideal Kitchen and Bath, it was my best decision, they are truly the best company in SW Florida, they take pride in their work, I had my kitchen completely remodel, from cabinets to counter-tops. Ideal Kitchen and Bath did a wonderful job, I would hire them with no second thoughts.
" Ideal Kitchen and Bath did a wonderful job in my complete kitchen remodel, they completely remodel my kitchen, they installed new cabinets and counter-tops. Danny and his team are excellent! He gave me his proposal, delivered on schedule and finished on schedule. He has an extremely professional crew working with him that kept a clean job site, showed up early and worked hard all day. They also helped me choose my cabinet color, granite etc.... Overall, Ideal Kitchen and Bath is a very professional and hard working team that I would highly recommend for your next home improvement project! Danny was very quick to respond to our inquiry and arrived to do an estimate within days. We wanted to reface our cabinets and update our countertops in a house we were putting on the market, and when we explained this and told him we didn't want to spend a fortune, he worked with us very well. Our only hitch was that his workmen took out some cabinet doors we weren't intending on replacing, so we ended up spending a bit more than we initially planned. The finished product, however, looks great. It was started and finished on time, with no mess at all left behind. We plan to contact Danny again soon to redo our bathroom in our new home.
Danny was very informative. I originally intended to have new cabinets installed but he suggested the refacing since there was nothing wrong with the existing cabinet boxes and it would save us money.
The technicians, Isander and Roberto, were very friendly and professional. The job was done quickly and they cleaned up at the end of each day. I would certainly recommend this company and would rehire them in the future.
