Very well. Barry help me turn the water off the night it started spraying water and was there first thing in morning to replace the pipe.

Custom Plumbing came highly recommended by a friend, who had also had them install a tankless water heater. Barry, the company owner, came out to evaluate our situation, which involved removing and replacing an original gas tank heater in the attic with a tankless. He was confident in what needed to be done, including rerouting gas lines, and made several recommendations before submitting a bid in a timely manner. Pricing was fair, and he pulled a city permit and got us on the schedule very quickly. The assigned plumber and his assistant showed up on schedule, and quite impressively, so did Barry! He made sure the job went smoothly, and worked around a very messy street construction crew who had shown up without notice to work in the street in front of my house the same day. He gave me an electrician recommendation to complete the associated electrical work (which is not part of the bid), and went out of his way to make sure everything worked before he left. The guys were all polite, neat, efficient, and worked diligently, because it ended up taking several hours of work in my attic, and the old heater was heavy with sediment and hard to remove. I would heartily recommend Custom Plumbing for tankless water heaters.

We have recommended them to a neighbor who has since used them.

Job went well. Removed existing tanks, hauled away the tanks and installed the new tankless system. They clean-up the attic area around the job-site after they were done. They sent a picture of the job since I was not available during the time of the install.

I can't say enough good things about Custom Plumbing Services. Barry was always responsive (much more than most of our other contractors), did what was needed for our project, made great suggestions on system improvements and was very patient with all of our questions. My husband and I were the general contractors on this house so we were new at much of the process of building a house. Barry always explained things and helped us out with any plumbing decisions that had to be made. Anytime there was an issue that needed attention, Barry had someone out at the house as soon as possible. The crew(s) that were sent to our house were always polite and on time. They asked questions if they weren't sure how we wanted something instead just installing without checking first. <br /> We are extremely pleased with not only the end product, but with the entire process that we experienced with Custom Plumbing Services! <br />

It went great.  We had a sink backup which led to a lingering odor coming from the overflow holes in the sink.  We tried everything to get rid of it but nothing worked.  Barry, the owner of the company, came out and diagnosed the problem.  He said the only way to guarantee to get rid of the odor would be to put in a new sink.  We purchased one from Home Depot online.  It came in early so I called Custom Plumbing and they were able to come out two days earlier than scheduled to install it.  There were two plumbers and they did a great job, were very efficient and cleaned up everything.  Everyone associated with this company is friendly and helpful and we would definitely use them again and have already recommended them to friends! <br />

The service went very nicely. 2 people came out and did the work. Sometimes they weren't always on time but the work was good. I would recommend them to others.

It went pretty well. They responded quickly. They were able to show up on a Saturday. They came in and out, did their thing on time, and everything worked. The price seemed pretty reasonable. I would absolutely use them again in the future.

The fatal malfunction of my water heater on the coldest day of the year (a Saturday evening) also meant I had no heat. It also meant that plumbing and HVAC crews would be fully booked with emergencies and regular service appointments on Monday. I called 14 plumbing companies before I came to Custom Plumbing.  While no other company could provide me service for at least 2 days, Custom Plumbing understood the severity of the issue and put me on their list for water heater replacement that day. They said they may not arrive until late in the day but it would still be today. Great news! The technicians came, assessed the problem, worked quickly and efficiently to install and test the new water heater and were gone.

My water heater went out at the beginning of a very cold weekend. This meant I would have neither heat OR hot water until the hot water heater tank was repaired. <br /> I live in a condominium and learned that most plumbing contractors in this region cannot work on condominium buildings with more than 4 units per building. I live in a condo building with 6. It took more than 18 calls to find Custom Plumbing, and I am glad they were the ones to respond to the call. <br /> They set expectations about how long the installation would take and they met them (about 90 minutes). They were efficient when they worked and understood that I had been without heat or hot water for more than 2 day of the coldest days in memory. They communicated when they needed to but overall every thing was pretty straight forward. <br /> I am very pleased with their work. <br />

Everything went great.  They scheduled it quickly, got there on time and were done quickly.  They had a suggestion that saved me money from what other plumbers had wanted to do. <br />

<p>The job from start to finish went perfectly.  During our first consultation, Barry described the work/process and set expectations precisely as they actually went during the course of the job.  Communication with the crew as well as with staff in the office was commendable.  We were kept up to date with progress on each step of the job.  Barry was very thorough and followed up to insure we were happy with the work. We were especially happy with Terry's help to coordinate with the city to get our property prioritized for inspection (we are a family of 5 and had only minimal water service downtime).  I will call Custom Plumbing for all future needs both big and small.  Great company, people, and service.</p> <br />

Called Terry at Custom Plumbing for a quote for toilet replacement and Water Heaters.  His bid came in a few hundred dollars less than two other contractors.  The toilet was intalled on a Monday and the Water heaters on Tuesday.  The heaters took two hours start to finish and they took away the old ones.  Very happy with service and installation.

They did a good job. I wasn't impressed with the clean-up.

I am planning on using him again shortly. He was very fairly priced.

We have had a leak in the upstairs bathroom that we've been trying to get resolved for over two years.  Custom was the fifth plumbing company that we hired to fix it.  Every other company came to evaluate the problem, decided that the the tub overflow connection was loose,  replaced the seal connecting the overflow to the tub drainage pipe and felt that it was done.  In every case we would hear a dripping sound later.  The people from Custom did the same thing.  The difference was that the next day when the dripping started up again they sent their man out to fix it (on a Saturday) at no extra charge.  This time he discovered the real problem (a broken toilet drain)  They came back later and replaced it.  I felt that they did a more thorough analysis of a difficult to detect problem in an old house than earlier people had been able to do.  They had their manager here as well as two plumbers.  It wasn't especially cheap but they finally took care of the problem.  For little things like replacing a leaking faucet or something I might go with somebody cheaper, but for important things that need to be done right I am planning to use Custom again.  The one caveat is that when the plumber was doing the job and got frustrated he did use some curse words.  This wasn't a problem for us because we didn't have any children in the house but if you have a sensitivity to this you might want to ask their dispatcher to send someone who doesn't curse.

Had to call in a plumber to a rental property -- tenant had difficulty coordinating time with the plumber, and when it finally did happen, there was no estimate beforehand or invoice after -- had to ask the plumber for the invoice after, then ask for an explination of what actually cost what (I was expecting a line-item breakdown of the services like you'd get with a mechanic). <br /> <br /> Kind of lame experience over all, don't plan on using them again, especially for work that I'm not going to be there for.

Dennis Gardner originally came out in November to bid when I was going to hire a builder.  When the relationship with the builder didn't materialize, and I found myself being my own contractor, I phoned Dennis and asked if he would be willing to still do the job.  I was very impressed with his knowledge and professionalism when he first came out and was glad he accepted. <br /> <br /> The plumber who came out (Herman) is extremely knowledgeable and demonstrated his capabilities to get the job done right.  <br /> As I've moved through this process, Custom Plumbing accommodated my schedule with just a few days notice. <br /> <br /> Following the demolition and we discovered new trusses were required to support the change in a load bearing wall, and the HVAC people accidentally broke one of the plumbing pipes in the ceiling, Herman came right out to repair the problem and his services were charged to the HVAC company which was the right thing to do. <br /> <br /> The only complaint I have is that while rerouting the plumbing to accommodate the new trusses, some of the blue/glue sealer dripped down on the casement of my new Renewal by Andersen windows.  Herman has told me that when they come back to install the appliances, he will take care of removing the stains. <br /> <br /> My dealings with Custom Plumbing have been positive and found them easy to work with.  When I've had questions or need clarification on the bill, Dennis has provided the necessary details to help me understand. <br /> <br /> I would definitely use them again in the future as I have more remodeling to do. <br />
