Chuck immediately answered my call into business, I provided a description of the issue and tried to explain the location of leak. After my several attempts to send a picture, Chuck called back and assured me that wherever and whatever the issue was they could resolve it. Zach and Rich (if I remember right) were dispatched from another job at at the house in less than an hour and the leak was resolved professionally. Good customer service and workmanship. Would call upon them again!

Our upstairs shower faucet gave way and we couldn't shut the water off. I called CZ--in the middle of a Nor'Easter, by the way-- at 9:57am. At 10:01am, Zach responded to me. At 10:30am, he was in my driveway. At 11:15am, everything was replaced, working better than ever. Along the way, he showed me how to shut the water off to the house quickly if I ever needed to again, and also found a small drip in our main line that he recommended I call the Water District about. He was polite, professional, masked up, and the price for the work was extremely reasonable for how fast he responded and got us back up and running. Great work!

I will start by saying, we have hired this company before for minor plumbing needs. They did a great job in that area. Because of that we decided to give them the job of our bathroom remodel. What a dissappointment. The word remodellers should be taken off their sign. Let me explain. The Sale: My wife and i were told that the shower unit we wanted was of inferior quality (Kohler) than what he could provide for us (Oasis) at a comparable price. The same goes for the toilet, vanity, sink, and faucets. They will remove and replace everything in one day. We were also told the drywall repair would be completed within the week. There was no mention of an additional cost for the drywaller, nor any discission of budget. We were quoted a price of $3550. The installation; On the day of installation they were 2 hours late. The shower unit is similar but does not have grab bars which we insisted upon. If we would have got the unit we wanted they would have come installed. The drywall we were told would be cut 2" around the unit. Instead it was cut 6 to 12" around the new unit. Two supports on a structural wall were unnessessarily cut away to fit it in. We were told the drywaller was an additional cost. Their drywaller was a no call, no show. My wife and I completed the structural and drywall repairs ourselves. The toilet although satisfactory, is not what i would have selected. The vanity and sink are 6" less in depth than what they were supposed to be. We did not like the faucets they provided, so we went to Home Depot, bought what we wanted and replaced them. Upon removal of the sink faucet he installed we found rust and calcium build up. When we confronted him about it, he admitted it was used and removed from another house. WHAT! He charged us over $200 for those. In summary, plumbers they certainly are. As for remodellers, that word should be removed from their sign. Their carpentry skills are hack and slash as best. $3550, yeah, let the buyer beware. I feel i did not get my money's worth.

We were extremely unhappy with this company and their services. The final price was high and he overcharged by about $80. He did not return my call to discuss or send the refund. As for the actual work, everything that could go wrong, did. This man came highly recommended by Angie's List (a few years ago now). So today, as I once again research plumbers (for other reasons), I was astonished to see his name pop up first and with such high ratings. Be forewarned! We paid a huge amount for very unprofessional work. ($3,000) First of all, I'm sure Chuck is a very qualified and experienced plumber. Unfortunately for us, as soon as the work began in our house... he left the work to his two young assistants (shadowing, I assume) and didn't return! Unbeknownst to us, these two young men were inexperienced (and therefore whom I will not blame). It was Chuck's responsibility to either do this work himself, oversee these young men to make sure it was all done properly, OR return to inspect and approve the final outcomes. The tasks: (1) An upstairs shower control was replaced. The control handle was loosening, making it very hard to control water temp. Within days of the work being finished, water was coming through the kitchen ceiling. We stopped using that shower until they could return. The young man who did the work returned and (very politely) fixed it. No word from Chuck. (The area needs to be repainted now. One more thing I do not have time to do. The ceiling was pristine when we moved in, just weeks before.) This young man should never have had to do this work alone, without the "master plumber" alongside to insure that installation was water-tight. (2) An outside faucet was added for gardening: These young men punched the hole through the wall of the house... only to discover that at that spot there was no basement, only a slab of concrete. The hole was hastily and pathetically patched with some kind of off- color filler, now glaringly obvious in a lovely garden wall. A second hole was punched at another location where pipes could be attached in the basement. (3) At Chuck's arrival, we had discussed the various tasks. One of which was an occasionally frozen kitchen sink pipe in the coldest of weather. (As we had just moved into this house, we were able to remedy somewhat by leaving cabinet doors open on cold nights.) He added some sort of mechanism that was totally unexplained (other than that it would prevent freezing) and charged a huge fee. We were never told any more about it (other than the pipe had been installed improperly on the OUTside of the house, not inside the cabinet as it should have been). (4) A utility sink was added next to the washer/dryer in the basement. The sink itself was installed properly and the drain pump seems to work fine. However, the sink sprayer head attachment is of the cheapest possible quality, something he had on his truck. It's impossible to use the sprayer (for dog washing) without water going literally everywhere except the dog. In order to hold the flexible sprayer, your fingers wrap around the head and inadvertently change the control buttons, activating a spray you didn't want. There is no way to control flow or direction so water spews at the wall, down your clothes, or in your face. Also, where the removable head attaches to the faucet arm, it continually leaks. Even if you have them attached together as tightly as possible, water runs down or sprays out the side. More water hits the walls or your face than the dog. Consequently, I just use the stationary faucet and move the (small) dog around underneath. This plumber may be good but before you say "yes", make sure you know WHO will do the work!

Great communication, very fast. Unfortunately the job still had to cost quite a bit even though it only took 20 mins due to the minimum charge. Very nice and helpful and would hire again though.

Everything went great! Zach and Rick installed a new "tank tee" - the old one was very corroded - and there's no more drip. They were both just very professional and prompt. To be honest, CZ came by twice without my even speaking to anyone. Chuck's son Rick stopped by Tuesday afternoon to check things out and then he and Zach came by Wednesday morning (Zach texted me about 15 minutes beforehand but I didn't hear the text) to do the job. Zach estimated about an hour but it took about half that. So different than typical experiences with tradespeople when you call them and they don't call back! And their rate was very reasonable - $79/hour plus $115 for parts. I'd gotten quotes from a couple of other plumbers that were just ridiculous! CZ did charge for $32 for gas but I was glad to pay it in light of the other rates I was quoted. They were also referred by my next-door neighbor, who'd used them more than once. I'm attaching a pic of the new plumbing; it does look as though some of the old pipe was left behind, although I think some of the corrosion was brushed off. And I did use the 5 percent off Angie's coupon.

It took a little work, but Zach solved the problem. I appreciated very much their responsiveness, given that a family was vacationing in the house when this happened.

We got TWO (you see in pics one has green seat cover, the other purple) Kohler water saver 1.28gpf plug free toilets! I have special needs with my back and we got exactly what we wanted round bowl and standard height. He upgrades from glacier bay to awesome #1 Kohler us because of an initial miscommunication that we easily worked out. Yay! No more plugging AND water savings so they will pay for themselves within a year. Thank you Chuck. We will call your for our next plumbing job!

Zach and Macky were great! I called the day before, received a call back that night and they were here first thing the next morning- just about a 12 hour service time! Being a single, female, first time homeowner, I was unsure what to expect and they were both great at explaining the jobs and each piece going into the repair. Highly recommend and will be using them again!

Better than I could have hoped! I was called within 15 minutes of sending an email request, and they were onsite later that day for an estimate. Work was done within 2 weeks and price was lower than I had expected. All around great experience!

Zach cancelled on us, rescheduled, then showed up and didn't have the parts to do the job. He then dropped off the face of the earth and never replied to texts or calls and I went with someone else. His dad seems good but doesn't do much field work anymore. I understand they're super busy, but as a customer total lack of communication makes it hard to book his time even if I wanted to, and I did!

By the time any other contractor called us back on Monday, CZ plumbing was already on-site and working. They were efficient, clean, friendly, fast, and kept to their price quote.

I had my husband contact CZ Plumbing, Zach Griffin because they got great reviews on Angie's list. They were prompt at returning his call and coming over to supposedly fix our hot water heater problem. They changed out the thermostat, told my husband it was the problem, charged us $166. That night I took a shower, and again the same thing. NOTHING had changed. My husband called them the following day and explained the situation. Zach Griffin told him he would need to do some research and get back to my husband. Still waiting to hear back. I am very upset. I would just like some hot water consistently.

I called CZ Plumbing on Wednesday night and they were able to come out first thing on Friday. Zack was great and finished the job within 20 minutes or so. He also pointed out a few things whoever installed the water heater missed.
