Blue Buck Partners

The existing paint in my bathroom was peeling and all the walls and on the border around the top of the walls, that had been previously painted over. So I used Angi and settled on Blue Buck Partners Painting. I spoke to Tom Lemmer and hired his painting service to remove the border and the peeling paint, then sand, smooth, and paint the walls. First day Stephen Goodall the painter only sanded down the peeling on the top half of the bathroom and painted over the peeling paint never removed the border. He never used tape, so he got taupe paint all over my white ceiling and got paint all over my wood trim, which he did not clean off. I asked him why did he just paint over the border? He was supposed to remove it and to Please do it right, remove the border, sand it and paint over it along with the patches that were visible that he just painted over the peeling paint. He returned the next day, painted the ceiling and removed the bottom of the border, smoothed it down and painted over it. I showed him the visible peeling still coming through some of the paint. He said he would fix it and he close the door and spend time in the bathroom. he sanded a couple spots that he spackled over the peeling paint, but painted over most of the spackle spots without sanding and smoothing it down. There are still a few areas where you could still see the white coming through the taupe paint that I asked him to go over it a second time which he never did. On the third day I had pointed everything out that he said he was going to fix, but did not. He just painted over the unsanded unsmoothened spackle patches which I again pointed out to him yet he told me he told me to let the bathroom dry, and if I still see spots the next day, he will come back and fix it, which I did see spots the next day, ALL of the spots. The second you walk into the bathroom all you see are spackle patches all over the bathroom walls. You could even see them as you are looking in the mirror. There is even debris that must have gotten onto the roller and he left it on the walls and it has dried there. I sent pictures to Tom to let him know the bad job his painter was doing, and Tom told me to take it up with Stephen the painter that he is handling it. I have called Stephen twice, sent him pictures, and messaged him twice and he has not responded to any of my attempts to communicate with him. My bathroom now looks like a 1950s room with uneven plaster walls with spackle patches that are different color from the rest of the paint. Tom has not once called back to see if Stephen has come back to finish the job and if I was happy or satisfied with it. I still have all the bathroom decor in my living room waiting for them to come and finish the job I paid them to do.

Caleb and Kenny showed up and worked as a team to patch the drywall in the garage that had never been painted. The wall in the garage had some water due to a poor roofing job. Had to remove loose joint tape and spread several trays of mud before they could start. Finished prepping and then got out the heat gun in the garage and dried out the mud. Primed and put on the first cost of Sherwin Williams paint. Took a break to get lunch and more supplies and did a second coat. And then painted the garage man doors. The interior of the garage was 50F, so they brought a heater to assist in drying the paint. Very courteous hard working young men.

The team from Blue Buck Partners was awesome. Showing up on time, working efficiently, and providing great customer service were just the start. Caleb and Juan went above and beyond our expectations. All 4 painters worked like a championship team. Thank you for completing the entire home interior (even the basement) in record time, checking a huge box as we prepare for move in!

What a wonderful crew to work with. They listened to what I wanted and did just that. We had a large tree fall on our house and they removed it safely. Extensive surrounding landscape was not damaged. They knew just how to cut and drop the wood just right. Cleanup was handled very well. Of course I would use them again and recommend them to everyone.
