I paid them and he never came back and won't answer my phone calls. They initially came out in November but never came back to finish. They had to leave but have never come back. I'd use them again if they'd come back to finish this job. I would never recommend him. At first I talked to him and he said he'd come out Monday that he's had a cold. He never showed then said he had a death in the family then he just quit answering his phone.

I called George Aldridge to install three (3) new ceiling fans at my lease house to replace the old ones. His response to my request was very quick, and he did a very good job. I purchased the ceiling fans and left them with my tenants for him to install. I thought his price was reasonable, and I wouldn't hesitate to contact him again in the future.
.The electrical service in this house dated to 1946. Start the vacuum cleaner and the lights would dim, that kind of thing. George gave me a price I liked and after securing the permit from the City he gave me a date when the upgrade would take place. I've had George over for work in the past and this time he was every bit as good as he was the first time...maybe better. Everything that could go right, did go right. The work included a new high-rise service entry as well as a new ground rod and a whole bunch of new 20 amp circuit breakers. I'm very pleased.
They did a good job. They did not repair. They were good on their pricing. I had no issues.

Originally, we thought it was a success. George averaged 2 simple projects an hour. While more could have been completed typically, we were ok with it. We did notice that there were a lot of trips in and out to his vehicle and would have preferred he had brought necessary tools inside instead of spending time back and forth. Unfortunately, after he left we found that one outlet wasn't working that had been working before and an outside light fixture had turned upside down. I immediately called George and left a message. He never returned the call so I called again about 4 days later. Once again, George did not call back. I then tried one more time and was able to make contact. I explained that I had attempted to reach him on multiple occasions. His response that he had been busy. I advised that we had two issues with his projects and asked when he would be able to come repair his errors. He stated that it would have to be a week out. We scheduled it for Monday 4/6 2015. I had to take off work in order to fit into his schedule. He was scheduled to arrive at 9am. At 11am he had not shown. I called George to see why he hadn't shown. He stated that he was on a big project and wouldn't be able to make it. I asked him why he hadn't called to let me know and he had no reply. He then stated he would need to come out another day. At that time, we chose to no longer utilize his services.
This was unfortunate as we have several upcoming projects and wanted a regular electrician. He also had a flat tire the day he came and we assisted with helping to get it repaired. This was how he showed us his appreciation.
It did not work out well. He said that the nonworking outdoor plug was too hard to trace for what the problem was. He told me that putting in the washer plug would overload the circuit and be more expensive and problematic. He didn't seem interested in doing the work. He told me after taking care of some of my GFI's to tell my tenant to use a smaller amperage heater from keeping the breaker from tripping. After a month or so, I called another electrician and he took care of 2/3rds of what I needed done within 3 1/2 hours. Since another company was able to do this in 3 1/2 hours, I was upset that he didn't seem he wanted to do the work. He even talked me out of replacing a 2 plug with a 4 plug.

Did a good job. He is a one-man outfit and does all the work himself. No subs, no employees to mess things up. So you're working with the boss. I will hire him again.
