The work was started on a Friday, but rain interrupted the work. The final two clear coats were done the following Monday afternoon. The door color and wood grain appearance look as good now when it was new. The refinishing process requires that the door be removed and laid out on sawhorses. The work was all done in my front yard. I have a storm door, so no temporary sheeting was necessary. If it had not started raining, the whole process would have been completed in about 6 hours.

Joe worked nonstop outdoors for about 8 hours. He was meticulous and took care to get my input in order to match the stain as closely as possible. The door looked beautiful, like new again, and it has held up well for almost a year.

I sent Dwayne an email with pictures of the doors on Saturday morning at 11am and he called back just a couple hours later with the prices he would do it for (when I compared with other faded door refinishers, I saw he was actually giving me a discount because I was doing 3 doors). He asked if we could do Tuesday, just 3 days away! <br /> Dwayne and his team showed up at 8am on the dot. They were great and worked throughout the day. Dwayne called both times that an optional upgrade came along, like $50 for the door sweeps/rubber along the bottom of the door that was falling apart. I brought them a nice Whataburger lunch and enjoyed chatting with them and looking at stain colors. They finished around 3:30pm and IT LOOKS GREAT!  <br /> He uses the best of the best materials and he also offers a service for $120 per door every two years for someone to come out and re-coat the doors so they never fade again! <br />

Joe arrived at the scheduled time and removed the front door.  A tarp was installed over the opening while the work was being performed.  The existing door finish was completely removed and the door was sanded to bare wood on the exterior side only.  The door was stained to match the inside color and then a sealer was applied and the door was reinstalled.  The entire process took approximately 7 hours. <br /> In addition to being a very nice person, I was very impressed with the attention to detail by Joe.  The emphasis is definitely on performing quality work.  He put a lot of effort and time into making sure all of the old finish was properly removed and he also made sure I was agreeable to the stain color before applying any stain.   <br /> My front door went from being an eyesore to beautiful again.
