Dallas' Fix It Shop

The microwave part of my microwave/convection oven stopped heating my food and coffee.  Research on the internet suggested that the magnetron had gone bad or died. The cost of a replacement part was nearly as much as a new convection oven and even worse, if you didn't know what you were doing, you could cause yourself great harm trying to install it.  Just on a lark, I called Dallas' Fix-It Shop to see what they thought, and after he took a look at it, he gave me a price that was much lower than if I had tried to fix it myself. Of course, I was delighted.  I will say that Dallas' Fix-It Shop stays busy and the business hours are not as long as I'd prefer (plus they close for lunch), so expect to wait a little longer to get your item back.  Even so, the work is quality and the price is reasonable. There is a charge for getting an estimate but it was deducted from the total repair bill. Overall, it was a good experience. <br />
