Daniel arrival time was on schedule. He seemed to quiclkly know what to do and did it in about two minutes. So, I ended up essentially paying for a service call. <br />

Okay at first he showed up on time the first 2 or 3days then he showed up when He wanted. He finally did most of work and ask if I would pay Daniel the other half of the I owed him and like nice person I did not realizing that was the last I would see him. I finally called daniel and told him come fix the pro.blems or gave me the money and I would hire someone to finish the job. That's when he told me all his problems about being sick. Possibly losing his business. <br />

Installation went smoothly without problems. The work included installing a vent in the roof and then connecting the vent to the bathroom fan in the attic. I'll hire them again. Recommended. <br />

The service was terrible. The only positive side was the cost was as-expected and they showed up on time. The baseboards were POORLY installed, there was all sorts of calk and other materials left all over the hardwood floors that I had to clean up. Multiple sections of the baseboards were horrible sealed and very sloppy. A few portions of baseboard were completely missed or just skipped on purpose. Multiple nail holes were not filled in with caulk. Overall the job was supposed to take 1-3 hours and took all day and was not finished. The owner/installer did not return my calls after the job was done and my wife even tipped him 20% on top of the job cost. <br />

"[removed member name] My helper I left on that job was new an told me carpentry was his specialty it was his second week I left him on a good size job his first week that took him 4 days an it was good work but it was rough carpentry so I then saw for my self he was not good with finish work. And to be completly honest I was hurting on cash that day an I got back after he was there for what ? hours for a 3 hour job an I was late picking my daughter up saw the job he did an was imbarrest to take check but figured I would come back next day an finish . The next day is when I was in hospital. I wanted to call you i really did an I still want to reiburse you your money I lost all contact info for you ....PLEASE Call Me !!! I am so sorry Im sorry I did not return your call but I was in the hospital for 4 weeks all together hospital an being bed ridin at home I was out for almost 6 weeks with medications the doc had me on cuased severe depression ,where I was scared to even answer my own phone. I had job going when I fell ill an had lots of customers waiting for estimates an to tighten up some loose ends. I felt everyone was mad at me an did not know what to do, on top of all this I fired 4 of my employees right before falling ill and I am a single father to top things off. I am currently well behind on bills trying to catch up, and move out of my house, catching up on work an estimates I am swamped with work I am also a single parent.I am a fair an honest man I take pride in my work an do not want any unsatisfied customers."

Dan came over for an estimate within a day of my initial request. The <br /> job itself was complete within 10 days or so, and probably could have <br /> been done faster if the weather had cooperated better. Overall, they did <br /> an excellent job. Thinking of using them for my next job. <br />

They had to re-do the bad work from the previous dude and continued on with the rest of the house; removing ~1700 square feet. They accomplished this job in four, 10/12 hour days. We provided the materials they recommended. We are very happy with the work they provided and plan to have them paint the exterior of our home later this year. I highly recommend them. They were very communicative; showed up when they said they would; I felt comfortable leaving them unattended when we had to be away at work; they were professional, yet personable; it was really great to come home and the house was vacuumed and clean up before they left after their 10/12 hour work day. <br />

I called Daniel at 8:00 AM and left a message explaining the work I wanted him to give me an estimate on. <br /> He called me back at 9:00 AM and told me that he could be here in an hour to look at the job. <br /> At 9:45 Daniel showed up with his sidekick, James. They looked at the damage and gave me an estimate of $250 to replace and paint two sheets of siding and to replace the dryer vent baffle. Daniel also told me that they could do the work today. <br /> They left to get their materials and were back and working by 10:30. While they were working on the dryer vent they discovered that the dryer vent PVC was actually broken off below ground level. They volunteered to dig up the pipe and try to fix it. <br /> By 11:45 they were completely finished and presented me a bill for the original estimate with no additional charge for digging up and repairing the dryer vent. <br /> When they left they mentioned that my driveway and walk were in need of a pressure washing and told me that they offered that service as well. When I decide to have the pressure washing done I will call Daniel first.

Daniel Custom Painting and handyman Services is an A+ in my book. I contacted him after locating him on Angie's list, as I was looking for someone to install a doggie door. He gave me a quote over the phone, set up a date and time, but due to job that ran over time, he was not able to make this appt. But he contacted me right away to let me know about the present job he had and wouldn't be able to make it, and offered to come on the weekend, but declined and made it the following Monday. He called, arrived 15 min early and completed the job better than expected. Very friendly, and informative. HIghly recommend... Thanks Daniel, will be calling again soon
