Dannys Lawn Care

Very well. Although I never met Danny or his team, we negotiated a price, I left a check for services to be provided, and his team did what we agreed to. I was very pleased with the job that was done.

The lawn was cut several times and they blew the walks afterwards. My wife was very pleased that she didn't have to mow the lawn.

rate 5 stars. Danny was professional all through the process and he was very easy to communicate and schedule with via text message. He walked my project within a few days of our initial conversation. his pricing was very reasonable and he worked with our schedule for work comoletion. Come work day, the weather required a reschedule but Danny communicated this need promptly and rescheduling was easy and convenient. Typically, we as consumers are forced to choose 2 of these 3 options (1) quality (2) economical price and (3) quick completion. Danny's lawn care was an exception because he provided all three.

I am very disappointed in the work performed by Danny's Lawn Care. While he receives mostly favorable comments for basic Lawn Care services, I believe that his team was not the right team for this job. A variety of challenges plagued this job. Danny's initial estimate greatly underestimated the amount of sod required. Only after I pointed it out did he come and measure for a better estimate. This caused a change in the initial estimate. His crew missed several scheduled times. Then one crew came out and used Roundup to kill the existing lawn, but they did not know where to spray, relative to my neighbors' exiting yards. Then the second crew came. They put a small amount of topsoil down (less than 1/8") and placed the sod directly on the existing lawn. Fortunately we have had significant rain so it appears to have taken. However, my real complaint is how "unfinished" the lawn looks. Again, I think the poor estimate of amount of sod resulted in an issue. When they ran out of sod they just stopped. So now I have strips on either side which were "Roundupped" (possibly even my neighbor's yard, but there was no sod left to cover the barren space. Also, there are significant seams. As I was not home when they were done, Danny texted me asking when he could get paid. I explained that I wanted to see him first. When we discussed it, he said that was intentional and that the grass would just grow back. After some discussion, he left me the impression that he was going to get some extra sod and make it blend better. But alas, once he got the money, he was "done." As a side note, he used Harmony sod (not SuperSod) and I am surprised by the Poa Anna in it. I guess time will tell if the main part of the sod will thrive despite the lack of effort that Danny's team put in to it.

Ok. What was said was not all done. For example in the price I was told he would put down 5 yards of topsoil and he only brought 2. I also asked for a written estimate and detail of the work to be preformed and it was not provided nor receipt. There should be something other then yes or no in the question would you hire again because I don't know if I would.

Danny and his crew are very responsive via text to questions and scheduling of service. His team has been great at taking care of our yard.

Well done, but too costly.

Danny was professional and timely in providing services. 

We had Danny and his team taking care of our lawn for over a year. They came regularly to mow, weed, blow leaves, etc. without us having to reach out to schedule it or ask for the work to be done. Our lawn was always in good condition and their work was a great value for the price.

I will continue to use Danny's services.

They have been proactive in checking in on our lawn to make sure it stays looking great for prospective buyers. I also really appreciate a provider that communicates so promptly via text. The yard continues to look great and I'd definitely hire again.

Seems like they have a bait and switch racket going on.

We were very pleased with the work of Danny and his crew. They trimmed a very overgrown hedge and cut an overgrown lawn. We'll definitely continue to use his services.

Danny and his crew have been servicing my yard and lawn monthly for more than a year. Unlike other services I've tried, his crew stops by regularly every month, even in winter, to make sure the leaves are cleared, shrubs trimmed, and trees mulched, in addition to the regular lawn maintenance. Danny is responsive, punctual and professional. His crew has also done installation and removal jobs for me, in addition to the regular lawn maintenance, like installing new storm drains and removing large shrubs. When installing the storm drains, Danny stopped by every day to make sure I was happy with the work. My yard has never looked better.

Mr. Smith met with me promptly after I contacted him, went over what would be needed for the job (clearing rampant undergrowth and saplings from my front yard), and gave me an estimate. He offered to schedule the work even faster than my own week could accommodate it. The job was done promptly and thoroughly. He even came over on his own to take care of a minor detail that his crew had overlooked: they had piled leftover debris a little too close to the base of a couple of trees in my backyard. He moved the debris away from the base of the trees, no extra charge. <br />

Danny was immediately responsive, available on short notice, professional, detailed and likeable. I would definitely use his services again.My lawn was seriously overgrown and he had the equipment to deal with it. He trimmed all the bushes to the front door which were also overgrown and did a good job and cleaned up after the trimming. I was pleased and grateful. <br />

Responsive, Punctual, Competent.  Danny's Lawn Care has the experience and know-how to plan and implement tree trimming of large trees and make drain extensions perform as they should.  This saves expensive foundation and roof repairs, as well as improving the appearance of my property.  <br /> Danny'sLawn care communicates with customers better than any other provider.  <br /> This company has the expertise, or knows who to call for every phase of outdoor maintenance and repair. <br /> Price point is below what they are worth, especially if managing other subcontractors is included. <br /> I positively recommend this company to family and friends, and will use them again if needed.
