these crooks owed me a refund, they admit to that. the office staff have done nothing but lie to me. had to sue in court, owner ryan didn't show up resulting in default judgement. YES, they did call to send refund, days before court date, but refuse to add the legal fees. repeated times been to their office, beat down old home that should be condemned, have been lied to women in office, accounts payable admits to refund, waiting for court order. court order was sent on may 7th, court tracked letter, they received in may 11th, yet they lied to my face. this is a dirtbag company and i suggest anyone that has business with them to cancel all ties with them. you will get screwed

I hired them to install a fence and paid a 50% deposit with a check. They completed the fence and I paid the balance with a credit card. They charged my card twice and I. have been fighting for 2 months to get that money refunded. Do not give them a credit card! Would not recommend.....

I?m sharing my experience with Dave?s Fence in DeLand after seeing comments that they don?t care about customers after installation. That has not been my experience at all. After strong winds damaged my fence, I reached out and sent photos. The repair needed more than a simple adjustment, and they could have easily pushed for a much more expensive fix or even a partial reinstall. Instead, they were honest, responsive, and fair. They only charged a small service fee and are taking the time to properly repair everything so the fence is fully restored?not just patched. That level of integrity and follow-through says a lot. From my experience, Dave?s Fence stands behind their work and truly values their customers even after the job is done. I would absolutely recommend them.

We hired Dave's Fence to install a fence for us. Signed Contract 09/25/2025 and gave a deposit as of Mar 19, 2026 (6 months later), they have not installed our Fence-nor will they return our deposit. We have called, and sent a letter with "NO Response". We have contacted Florida Attorney General and BBB.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. The team is rude and not timely, our account was overcharged and charged to the wrong card and the team has not been helpful. We did not approve the card to be charged and yet the company went ahead and charged it. This company owes us the 50% balance that was due upon fence completion. It has been 50-days and counting since the refund was supposed to be adjusted. We call and email daily, and still no response.

I dealt with Dave?s Fence for my backyard fence, and unfortunately, it was a very frustrating experience. I provided my credit card details for the agreed cost of the fence. While reviewing my bank statements, I discovered that I had been overcharged by $2,347, nearly 50% more than the agreed price, through multiple charges made in September, November, and December. Since December 22, I have contacted the company multiple times requesting a refund of the overcharged amount. Each time, I received the same responses: this week, after the holidays, tomorrow, Monday, and now another five business days. Despite repeated promises, the refund has still not been processed. What is most concerning is how efficient the company was at collecting payment, yet how slow and unresponsive they have been in correcting a clear billing error. If I had not carefully reviewed my bank statements, this overcharge likely would never have been identified or addressed. This experience reflects poor billing

The new fence install was fine and performed in timely manner. However, with the final payment for completion I wrote Dave's Fence a personal check. After checking my Visa credit card I found that the company also processed my credit card as well for same amount. I called 2 times to the company about the double payment/charge and assured that I would get a credit card credit back (which I did not authorize use of credit card for last payment). I did not get the credit back and had my credit card bank do dispute to recover the amount which I got back after almost 2 months. Sad that this did not get resolved by company based on facts. The install was easy. The fence around the pool heater and gate needed to be adjusted. Dave's Fence came qui kly and moved the fence. It looks great.

I can’t say enough good about this project! Dave’s fence communicated from the start, letting us know everything that was going on! They said 4-8 weeks and it was barely 4 weeks and they were ready to go! They showed up when they said they would and did a great job installing the fence! I highly recommend this company!

Looks great except they put the lock on the outside instead of inside so they coming back out to fix it

I’ve seen their work around my neighborhood and once the hurricanes took my old wooden fence, I knew I wanted Dave’s to install my new one. It looks amazing and I’m so sorry my neighbors called the cops on you…they’re a delight

Hello, I wanted to write in because I had the most absolute best experience with your company. It may have taken a while to get the estimator and the team out here but its only because of your company’s high demand! Right from the get-go, our salesman Steve was great. Friendly, informative, without being pushy. Asked engaging questions to see what was best suited. But the real shine is in the team that showed up. Again, right from the start all the way through. Carlos was the crew lead and I tell you I come from a management background and that man is a born leader. He handled my husband and I with professional courtesy and laughed at all our stupid jokes. But not only that..i watched that crew off and on all day...Carlos was always bouncing back and forth between members ensuring a finite efficient rhythm and filling in when there were issues. The clean up member was amazing too! Not a job I would want but I tell you my yard was spic and span when done. Carlos, Anthony, Roger, and John are a strong shining example of a valuable asset to your company. The other two crew members also shone in sticking to task and solving rock issues in my yard. And another example of A-1 customer service..:the truck was full so they couldnt take away the concrete and Carlos said he’d put it in notes to come the following week to get it. Now we got our install in a Friday....I KNOW you dont install on weekends. Carlos showed up on SATURDAY, the very next day to get that concrete! I LOVED IT! I know its not common to tip, but anyone reading this....tip these crews. They are making a difference in your very daily lives. What they do MATTERS. I highly recommend Dave's Fence. They installed a little over 300' of vinyl fence for me about 4 years ago and it still looks great. When I needed two posts adjusted recently they came out and fixed it at no charge. They are a great company and I highly recommend them.

We were/are pleased with everyone we dealt with. Mike who came out to give us the estimate was very pleasant, very informative, and professional. The ladies in the office are very nice to deal with. The guys who installed our fence were very professional, easy to work with and did a great job on our fence. We love how it looks! We would hire them again and would recommend Dave's Fencing to other people.

Amazing. From Joey who came to my home and made the estimate and ultimately the sale, to the out-of-this-world fantastic crew that installed in one day. The crew consisted of Harold, Johnny, Dee and Fave. I recommend you ask for them by name. They not only arrived a few minutes early to begin the day’s work, but they were very professional and cordial. Harold, the crew leader, explained what they were going to do and answered all my initial questions. Then they went to work what seemed like non-stop first under a blistering sun and then late afternoon under rain showers. I fully expected them to stop work and come the next day due to the rain but Harold told me they would wait until it lessened and they would finish that same day. Sure enough they finished under light rain and without rushing. In fact, Harold was quality checking under the rain with Johnny and making numerous Adjustments to ensure the fence was as perfect as possible. Dee and Fave were busy cleaning up all remaining materials, debris and packing their truck. Amazing work all around and I will hire Dave’s Fence over and over again and will recommend them hands down to everyone that I know. Fantastic indeed. Dave’s you need to keep, promote, reward and do anything in your power to make sure that Harold, Fave, Dee, Johnny and Joey remain in your company. The salesman who appraises the job was always so friendly and took the time to answer all my questions via e-mail, text or call. It doesn't take long to have someone calling back after calling the company. The fencing is commercial grade which is important to me so hopefully it will be strong during hurricane season.

My wife and I had a Vinyl fence installed at our house on 2/26/2020. The fence was installed quickly with a very friendly crew. They even walked my wife around the property after it was complete to let her review. A few hours after the job was complete they sent another person out to review the job. The fence was left with two gaps on either end due to the inspection needing to take place. The gentleman who Came after the installers was very friendly and stated that the person with Dave’s Fence would be out within the week to hang the inspection (this took 2 weeks). Let me also state that when the fence was installed on 2/26/2020 they immediately took the remaining balance so we were then paid in full. The inspector came out within a few days and the inspection was complete. This was on 3/17/2020. We called immediately (within the same day) and let Dave’s Fence know the inspection was complete and approved. It has been 3 weeks since the approval and 6 weeks since the initial fence went up and we still do not have a completed fence.Which would take 30 mins at most to complete. They have since called 3 times to reschedule appointments the day they were suppose to come out and complete the job.I do understand completely that there are many things going on with the coronavirus at the moment and a lot of people that are unable to work but this job should have been completed weeks ago before the coronavirus was even a major pandemic. The latest reschedule date is suppose to be on Monday, April 13th. Will update to let everyone know if we actually have a finished fence on this date or not.

Dave's Fence has installed fencing for me on three different occasions for my front, side and back yard. The salesman who appraises the job is always so friendly and takes the time to answer all my questions. It doesn't take long to have someone come by after calling the company. The fencing is commercial grade which is important to me due to hurricane season. It has withstood very high winds without falling or tipping. I've had both vinyl and wood installed. The quality is so much better than you'll find with other companies. The wooden fencing is actually built on site. It doesn't arrive fully assembled in panels. They treated the fence with water seal after the installation. It's a very attractive and sturdy fence. The men who did the work were very nice and did a great job. I wouldn't use any other company after the great experience I've had with Dave's.

Was charged $794.00 to fix one piece of wood. You tell me.
