Dave has been doing all of the plumbing for our summer home for the past 6 years. He is very responsive, extremely competent and quite reasonable in his pricing. He has terrific suggestions on when and how to improve the plumbing in our antique Cape. We find him a true professional who takes great pride in his services and has a wealth of experience. Dave is a very responsive and competent provider. He returns calls quickly which I really appreciate. New gas piping work was done very well. He even came back quickly when the gas grill showed up and the quick connect fitting previously provided by the BBQ grill company at time of order was the wrong size and he had to replace it with a new one they left with the grill. House is now well positioned for future gas appliances. Price was very competitive. <br />

David was responsive with a quote, hoped us through the Mass Save application and installed the new equipment on time and on budget. He was a pleasure to work with and is very knowledgeable about his trade. <br />

Dave provided excellent phone support when my sewage ejection pump began overflowing. He got me by this problem and then ordered a replacement lid. We scheduled a service call and he replaced the lid and also removed unused water tank and softener. He did excellent and professional work at a fair price. Much better than larger providers <br /> <br />

It went fine. David was willing to answer questions. I pulled the toilet and he was willing to reset it. He came within days of our speaking and he worked efficiently. <br />

<p>I called David on Friday morning, 7/5/13, a holiday week end. Since it was a holiday week end, my thought was that my call would be returned on the Monday. However, he answered my call immediately. I told him I had discovered a leak in my basement. He told me he would be at my house that afternoon. He arrived mid-afternoon and went right to work. Within minutes he found the source of the leak. Apparently the refrigerator had been leaking for some time. The leak was coming from the back of the refrigerator and I had no knowledge of it. Water had leaked down into the basement and David also found some mold under the insulation caused by the leak. Of course, then I had to call an appliance repair service company. I asked David if he had time to check the bathtub drain since it was extremely slow draining out. He did not hesitate to look at the drain and within minutes he cleaned out the drain and the water drained out fine. David is very professional, responsive, and courteous. Excellent. This was not an emergency install. What I very much liked was that I am dealing with the owner and technician all in one. You eliminate the errors of communication and supervision when dealing with Dave. Corrected DIY quality of original install and leveling of new install. Quality install. Shutoff valve install was difficult that Dave did very well. Although I was on the way to Logan airport Dave explained what he was doing very well to my daughter and wife. <br />

Within a day of calling Dave he was able to repair my leaks one day earlier than expected due to a schedule change. He was very professional, efficient, and pleasant to deal with. Another plus is that he was responsive and communicated with me.

From the moment that I received my quote the job went so smooth I couldn't believe it. From installing the gas and having the inspection done to the installation of the new furnace/boiler. Dave Whelan on time, his work was clean and neat ( I didn't have to clean up after them) and most important within the quote that was given to me. I trust him and would hire him again in a second, for any of my plumbing needs!
