David has been repairing our cars for over 8 years: in that time he's amazed me with his consistent dedication to getting work done right. And he stands behind his work! He's always great to deal with but this one takes the cake! The right side Odyssey sliding door stopped working. Knowing from experience that his work is better and less expensive than the dealer I went to David with visions of cables, switches, maybe even the motor --- in other words, less than dealers but still an expensive repair. I was amazed when David checked it out and said it needed reprogrammed! Who Knew? Sure enough the door is fully functional and both doors were serviced for about the cost of a dealers diagnostic fee. More importantly, what do you think the dealer would have done or charged? Today, David replaced the struts and realigned the front end and the car drives like new! We tell our friends: when your car needs service check with David first. ps David does oil changes and routine service.

Dave & his team did a excellent job !!! The brakes were a mess & ac system in shambles. Spent 2 days in diagnostics & repairs. Straight & up front with everything, explained exactly what the problem was & why it happened, then explained my options. My family & I have trusted Dave with our vehicles since we landed in Florida 3 years ago.

They've been very fair. They didn't do more than they had to and take care of things for a fair price and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. They've been pretty prompt. We've been in there several times.

Everyone I talked to was so nice, didn't talk over my head, and was very helpful. They had a lot of business, as I saw when I went to pick up my car, but still managed to diagnose and repair my car in 24 hours.

I have been using David's Auto for 5 years. I have taken my car, my mom's car and my sons' cars to him many times for specific service and regular maintenance. Among other things, he has changed my timing belt, done a tune-up, flushed out the systems, done complete brake jobs and replaced the tires. On many occasions I have taken the car in and asked him to do trip checks and twice I have taken it to him and told him to do whatever it needed including checking the A/C, transmission and fuel systems. On each service trip he has had every opportunity to tell me he replaced things and didn't, replaced things that didn't need it, and generally just rip me off and he has never done that. I have friends that use him and wouldn't take their cars anywhere else. I can't wait for him to start his used car business so my son can buy a quality used car at an affordable price. <p> Started my car on Friday morning 3/20/16 & I hear what appears to be an exhaust leak near the engine, plus felt it was running on 3 cylinders (4 cylinder engine) . Took it to David Johnson's Automotive & after doing some troubleshooting found the exhaust manifold was cracked in 2 places & the ignition coil was bad. After replacing both parts my car runs like new, & engine runs smoooooth !!! There is nothing like "the warm tummy feeling" when the job is done correctly & that's what I get when my car is repaired by David Johnson's Automotive. </p>

My car air condition system was blowing warm air, so I went to local store & purchased an ac charge kit (includes R134A refrigerant, gage, & hose). I installed it according to directions & it worked for a couple days, then started blowing warm air again, so now I am thinking the worst, leak, compressor, etc.. I stopped in Dave Johnson's Automotive to make an appointment, & Dave asked me if I had time & he would check the ac system right then & I said sure. He had his mechanic check out the system, then recharged it with a dye to help detect leaks. Sent me home & told me to run ac system as much as possible & bring it back in 3 days or before if it starts blowing warm air. The ac system never ran better & did not blow warm air. After 3 days I returned & Dave did a black light inspection for leaks & found none. Dave could have easily sold me the "Brooklyn Bridge" !!! But he didn't, Dave was honest, fair, & gave me a little education on my ac system. Great job Dave & thanks. <br />

My daughters manual Corolla suddenly became hard to shift after a cold snap. I had recently had the transmission oil changed and called to see if perhaps the wrong weight oil had been used. Called at noon on Saturday. Dave asked if I could bring the car in within the hour. I brought it in an hour later and within 45 minutes they had found and fixed the problem (it was not the transmission oil). I have also had my '93 Dodge D250 serviced there twice. Service has always been prompt courteous and reasonable. I will not rehash the other glowing reviews, but just say that Dave is my go to guy for auto maintenance. <br />

<p>My daughter's car would not start & after being told by a automotive store it was her battery, so I had the battery replaced by the automotive store. Less than a week later car would not start again, back to the automotive store & they checked it out & said battery, alternator, & starter were all good, said must be loose/corroded connection. My neighbor & I checked all the connection & could not find either, finally I gave up. Went online to Angie's List & found "David Johnson's Automotive". Here it is, Saturday 8am on Memorial Day Weekend, had the car towed there, where I was greeted by Dale, told him my problem, said okay we'll take a look at it, I figured it being the holiday weekend I would not here from them until Tuesday the earliest. Not so at 11am the mechanic called me & told me it was the starter & the price to replace it, I said go ahead. Received a call to pick car up at 2:15pm that same day Saturday on Memorial Day Weekend. Dale even included a free diagnostics. I was able to enjoy my holiday weekend. Great Job David Johnson's Automotive !!!</p> <br />
