David's Painting & Decorating

We have hired painting contractors in the past and this is the first contractor we had to tell him to quit painting and leave the house. Worst experience of our lives. We had brand new floors with paint spray all over, paint splatter on our walls and paint spray on our entry walls that were not even painted. When asked to clean up the paint drips on the walls David licked his blue sweatshirt and wiped the drip smearing blue into the wall. Yes true story. He also cut our entire bedroom after spraying the ceiling with the wrong paint color. He was supposed to test an area first. We had to paint the entire room when only the ceilings were to be painted. David said he would paint the room for free but after all the paint drips and sprays we did not trust his work. We had to paint the room. Yes he was cheap but you get what you pay for. I never write reviews but thought other folks should know stay far, far, far, away!!! We have over 20 pictures.

He left without taking the tape off around two mirrors and the two lights. He had both vents (or vent covers) and he did not put them back in. I had to clean paint off the mirror and the vanity tops. It took me a long time to do the cleanup after him. I did not paint because I did not want to go on a ladder, but I ended up having to in order to get the tape off of everything."

We hired Davids Painting to clean and restain our 2 level deck. Each level is 10' X 20" with cedar shake wall along the lower level. They were professional, thorough and kept us informed on the progress of the project. They kept the area clean and neat all the while they were here and were very pleasant to work with. I would give Davids Painting a 5 Star Review and would reccomend them to anyone.
