When I called to schedule in August I was told that they were no longer on Angie's List. The deal stated that the "Promotional value expires 6 months from date of purchase; paid value never expires" but I did not have any work done and did not receive my money back. V/r, Winifred Roosa

It didn't go. No response.

The light fixture was installed correctly. One faucet was only half installed. The other was installed but leaked because it was not installed properly. They rushed as they were more concerned about the time. It was supposed to be 1 person for 3 hrs or 2 for 1.5 hrs. With 2 people only one actually works and the other watches. I now have to hire a plumber to complete one installation and redo the other because water stands in the sink. Plumbing is obviously not their area of expertise!!!! Would never hire again.

Work was done quickly and well. There was a mistake in purchasing incompatible faucet, but I was able to return at no added cost. Two good guys who worked hard and delivered the service I was looking for. Would have no hesitation to use D.C. Handyman again. Wish I had used them for a subsequent caulking job that I went through Angie's List for. That one didn't go nearly as well.

He was punctual but his work was only fair. We had a door installed and the lock was not lined up correctly so would not lock properly and the door would not close without a lot of effort. Also, we had purchased the wrong size door. My husband wanted to take it back but the handyman said, "no" he would make it work. And then wanted more money to come back to finish the drywall work. This was partially our fault. My husband should have said no and taken the door back and as a professional installer Dennis could have explained the extra work and money that would be involved before we proceeded. We ended up hiring someone else to install the correct size door. The installation was perfect, quick and everything worked.

The service exceeded my expectations. I was not prepared with the materials or the paint needed to repair the drywall and yet they took care of what I needed by getting the materials and keeping the cost to a minimum. Extremely professional, responsive and thorough.

was unable to install thermostat or replace original one so had to call HVAC service to fix. Hadn't turned off power and blew fuse. Cost $135 to HVAC guy to fix. Didn't fix kitchen light. Deadbolt and vanity mirror doors done.

Dennis was very polite and professional. He pointed out some bigger issues that I needed to take care of first with the tasks that I had, so it was a good diagnostic visit.
