This was my third time working with Chris over the course of a few years now after finding him right here on Angi. The first was to replace the posts holding up my front porch, the second was to replace the flooring throughout my entire first floor and the third to repair my deck and garage door frame. The costs of these projects were $1,200-$10,000-$1,580. Each time Chris provided me with options, explained the pros and cons, and offered suggestions then provided an estimate. He (and Mike) show up when they say they will and answer all my questions in detail. They treat me with the utmost respect and stand behind everything they do which is easy because it is well done. I will definitely not hesitate to work with Chris again.

It went very well and looks just like the picture. Chris asked a lot of good questions and worked very hard to bring the original design to life. He was open to questions and really worked with me to have this project come out great. He (and Mike) exceeded expectations. I would highly recommend him. I also appreciate his quick replies to any communications.

It was clear there were some unknowns with the project from the start. Chris clearly explained the possibilities, the potential resolutions and his recommendations. As the project began, it became clear that there were even more problems than originally thought. Chris explained my options, answered all my questions, and did a great job in fixing everything. Chris was easy and pleasant to work with. I would definitely hire him again.

We were considering having some carpentry done to our front and back outside stairs and contacted Chris Regan. He responded promptly, came by and assessed the job and gave us a fair estimate for the work. We decided to defer the work until the spring, but had him do a small job for us, which he did very well. Chris is engaging and professional and he'll be our first choice for any carpentry work we need.

Chris was so awesome, not only was his work top notch and done with great attention to detail but he was probably the nicest guy. And best yet when there was additional work that needed to be performed to complete the job correctly he informed us before he did the work to ensure that there was no sticker shock on the final invoice. Which even so was not that much extra cost. I would definitely recommend Chris and look forward to hiring him again.

He was excellent!!

Chris did work on our home in mid-December; overall did reasonable work replacing lots of house trim with PVC; he promised to order a custom piece and put it in once he got it. once he got paid he never returned, ignored my texts and altogether disappeared from the picture completely. Now I have to find someone to finish this job. This always reinforces the rule with carpenters: never pay them in full until the job is done.

Great! Chris is a good guy who does good work at a reasonable price. What more can you ask for? Definitely recommend.

Very happy with the work done

The work was exemplary and professional. Chris is very communicative and does first class work. All of his people were clean and respectful. The work areas were always left safe and clean. I would recommend Chris to anyone who is tired of dealing with the type of contractors who sell you the work and never show up and perform quality control. Chris is always onsite and available and has terrific ideas for design changes.

The construction went very well.  He had to work around the short comings from the prior contractor who had done a very poor job.  Chris was able to add the trim (skirt and apron) around the deck.  The white PVC trim makes the deck pop and has become a beautiful addition to our backyard.  He was in/out in just a few days.  Overall very pleased and will use Chris again when we need a contractor.

Remarkably well. He was very professional, prompt, and did an excellent job installing the column. I plan on having him do more work on the house and would highly recommend him.

Everything went great.  Chris and his assistant Mike were here for several days, which was a longer than expected because they discovered more defects when they cleared the work areas for installation of new materials.  But Chris cautioned us up front that this might happen, and it did not add much to the initial price estimate. <br> <br>All of the workmanship was top-notch, which is what we expected because Chris has had an excellent reputation in our neighborhood for a long time (even though he only signed up for Angie's List very recently).  An extra benefit for me is that Chris and his assistant Mike provided lots of advice when I asked questions, and they showed me how to do some minor amateur tasks myself to save money in the future.  Of course, I could not have come close to doing the excellent work that they did here, which required advanced carpentry skills.  Everything turned out perfectly, I highly recommend Chris Regan, and look forward to getting in touch with him to do more work in the future.  Just yesterday, our next door neighbor asked who a good carpenter or handyman might be, and we told her to cal Chris Regan. <br>
