HE WAS TERRIBLE!!!! Initially, the project with D&d’s Lawn and Construction Services LLC commenced smoothly. DeAndre informed me that the repairs would take approximately two days, stating, “He is particularly fond of small tasks.” I considered myself fortunate. He requested a 60% down payment of $1015.00. While I found this amount somewhat excessive, I proceeded with the payment. DeAndre commenced work on Wednesday, June 11th. He completed painting the ceiling in my daughter’s bathroom, mudded the hallway in my master bedroom, main entryway, and garage. He applied one coat of paint to the majority of the master bathroom/bedroom ceiling. He informed me that he would return on Thursday because everything required drying prior to texture application. On Thursday, he arrived at 10:37 am and textured the master bedroom and garage. However, on Friday, June 13th, the game room ceiling and wall were initially overlooked and had to be repaired with both items, first mud. This delay necessitated an additional day for drying. I inquired if DeAndre could remain and paint the remaining rooms while waiting for the areas to dry. He expressed a desire to paint everything simultaneously. Early Monday morning, DeAndre was scheduled to work at my home. However, I had to contact him at 9:51am to inquire about his whereabouts. He responded that he was finishing up a job and heading to my residence. I asked for the approximate time of his arrival. He requested a moment to consider. I had to reach out to him again at 3:10 pm for an update on the situation. He informed me that he was almost finished and about to texture the client’s project. Subsequently, I received a text message stating, “I have just finished texturing. When is another suitable day? I apologize for working since 6 am to finish early and overworking you.” I responded that tomorrow at 6 am would be a suitable time for me as well. I presumed that he had completed the previous client’s project and could assist me with mine. He requested a moment to reflect. One hour later, I asked him to confirm the 6 am show time. He informed me that he was currently on the phone but would arrive at my residence first thing in the morning to texture and paint. Needless to say he never showed up Monday. On Tuesday, June 17th, he sent a text message at 7:40 am indicating that he was on his way. He did not arrive until 9:13 am. Upon his arrival, DeAndre applied texture to a small area on the ceiling in the game room, while still insisting on painting everything at once. On Friday, June 20, 2025, he was scheduled to come and complete all remaining work. I texted him at 10:52 a.m. to inquire about his whereabouts. He had forgotten that I was on his schedule and was already at another project. He assured me that his employee was in my area and would be right over, and he would soon follow. He was very apologetic. At 3:16 p.m., I texted to let him know that his employee had not shown up, and neither had he. I called DeAndre on both of his phone lines a few times, but I have yet to receive a word from him. As a result, I have lost $1,015.00, and my home looks like it is under construction.
