Defender Pest Control

They supposed to come out today for a follow up but they did not show up. I tried sending them a message and call them but they hung up on me.

The 4-plex I own have severe roach issue. The students lived there for a year but never reported to me about the problem. A few months before they moving out, it spread to other 3 apartments. I found Nathan through Angi and checked info on his website. Happy with the review and information, I contacted Nate. Surprised but thrilled that he was able to offer the treatment on the day I called. I discussed with him whether to setup a monthly treatment plan but he said it's not necessary. He would thoroughly treat it and do two follow up treatment, with a 3 months warranty. So I paid the whole treatment fee on the 1st day and asked to setup the follow up treatment 2 weeks later. I received an invoice with a report on what chemicals used for the treatment, just like the large reputable pest control companies. Both my tenants and I thought he was professional. However, when the follow up treatment is due, Nathan wouldn't be able to schedule a time so we had to reschedule a few times. Then he didn't show up so I had to text him again. He eventually was able to show up one day for the treatment. But roach problem didn't seem to get much better. My tenants contact Nate again for the 2nd follow up and begged him to come but he never did. It's a total waste of money.

Don’t pay this person in full up front. Nate responded quickly when I inquired about mice removal on Angi. He answered our questions thoroughly and came out to fill the places where mice were getting in. He let my husband follow him so he could see and we could keep an eye on it. We paid for that visit plus a two week follow up and ongoing support for a certain amount of time if the mice returned. Nate didn’t show up for our scheduled time two weeks later and didn’t reach out before or after. When I sent him a text a week or so after the missed appointment, he stated a day he would be in our area and told me he would come by between 12-3 on that day (which was today.) He again didn’t show, again without notice or explanation. My husband sent him a text, as did I, with no response. It’s not a good look to take someone’s money and not follow through on the service. At this point it doesn’t matter whether or not the work was good or if he resolves then matter. The fact is he took our money and didn’t provide the service, which as far as I know is illegal. I believe this is called theft? ? Cannot recommend.

Great! After calling five companies for quotes (three of which never called back), Nate called right away. And, after talking to him and getting my questions answered, he came out that same day! Nate was very professional and thorough, he sprayed around my house and removed the bird nests. We haven’t had a bird mite since. I would definitely hire Defender Pest Control again!

Nate removed dead mouse by furnace and found areas outside where mice were getting in and put copper mesh over their “entrances”. He seemed to conduct thorough check in and out including a shed. Haven’t seen a mouse since and he will return to check after 2 weeks.

Nate responded right away to my inquiry and we had an appointment set for the next day. We had two wasps nests on the side of our house that made our home look like the mother ship. He sprayed the areas as well as the entire side of our house for an incredible price. Within 48 hours all of the wasps were gone. Luckily since they were paper wasps the nests didn’t need to be removed. Nate was timely, professional and able to explain all of our options. I’d like to have a continuous relationship with his business for seasonal pest removal. 100% recommend.
