Upon evaluation of the jobsite he said it would take 7 days to get the project ready for painting and another 3 days to finish the painting. He said he would start on Sunday the 4th. On Sunday he said he would be working on Monday A price of 6000 dollars was negotiated with a deposit of 3000 (50% down)paid on the 4th of September. Monday he called to say it was a holiday so he was not going to work. Then on Thursday he said he had a stomach ache so he cannot work. On the 9th I spoke to Eddie about concerns that I had. They include improper use of material(regular drywall in water area and green board in area where there is no water). Also the time it was taking to do the project. I mentioned the fact that he has a crew, so I did not understand why no one came to work because he had a stomach ache. It was apparent they were working very slow and would not meet the deadline. I left to do some errands and noticed on the camera he left shortly there after on said date (9th) I brought the concerns to him.. He did not return and was not answering my calls. On the 10th I texted him to see if he was coming to work. (text was our main means of communication as he said he did not speak much English}. I received a text stating he does not work with aggressive people. I responded that I was not being aggressive I just need to know if he is finishing the job and if not he needs to refund me a portion of my money since the work he did so far was not worth 3000 that he already received. He texted back the he will not be refunding any of my money. I have not heard from him since.

It was a disaster. I would never use him again and I would tell people that I know to never use him. I'm nowhere near satisfied with the work that they did. They need to hire people with high work experience and know what they should be doing.

"It's true I work where Mr. [Member Name Removed] painted 2 rooms and the living room and I covered it well with paper and plastic and I did some repairs for free. He never complained about the work during the time we were working in his house when we finished our work I asked him to check together and we checked together and then he said that everything was fine and I could go I don't understand why you come to talk about my company now if you told me that everything was fine and that it was to your liking That's why I don't understand why you made this bad comment, if you yourself checked with me and I still told you that I would give you my work with a guarantee, if something went wrong I promised to fix it and you said that it's not missing, that's why I don't understand your bad comment and I still I say if something is wrong, tell me and I can repair them because I have done more than 500 jobs and no one has ever complained about my work, all I can do is tell you in your conscience that you speak ill of a company that I better give you paint to paint the kitchen and the bathroom for free that's why you didn't pay me you didn't pay me for the bathroom or the kitchen maybe you didn't put that in your comment that you owed me the bathroom and the kitchen [Member Name Removed]"

It went well. All the old drywall was taken out and replaced along with the insulation. The area was painted and everything was cleaned thoroughly and trash was taken out.

Very pleasant to work with Eddy and his team of two. Overall, a job done nicely and rather quickly also. I called on a Friday and Eddy came the same day to review area that needed work and then was ready to start practically immediately :-) I really appreciate the line of communication from Eddy. He let me know the projected timeline as he worked. I will certainly call again when I'm ready to start the next phase of this project.
