As the owner of a “new” 100+ year old home, I have a lot of projects to do, which means that I’m constantly reaching out to contractors. It also means that I am concerned about quality of work, because I’m trying to resurrect and preserve a house that hasn’t been taken the best care of by the people that came before me. Delgado Wood Floors was a godsend! While it seems like most of the contractors in this town don’t even want to show up to make a bid, let alone actually do the work, Gerald and his team were the opposite. Prompt and very communicative, they delivered everything they said they would, at a reasonable price, faster than I expected, and I’m very happy with the work. Now if they also did drywall, painting, plumbing, electrical and landscaping, I’d be set!

Gerald Delgado and his team helped patch areas of my old wood floor where water damage had occurred. Despite the fact that my home is over a 100 years old and the wood floors are almost as old, the patch work looked well integrated and completely disguised the fact that damage had ever occurred there.

We had obtained several bids, and decided on Delgado Wood Floors because of their responsiveness, knowledge and competitive pricing. Delgado Wood Floors exceeded our expectations by transforming our 19th century oak/walnut inlay floors to their near original beauty. The sanding, filling and sealing of our varied species of wood floors was completed in a very professional manner. The workmanship was excellent. The Delgado team was equally skilled when installing our LVT at laundry room and engineered wood at kitchen. We were especially pleased by the concientious nature of the team who returned multiple times to complete our kitchen floor after 2 or 3 occasions finding the humidity too high to complete the work. Delgado Wood Floors will be my go to from now on, and I will recommend them to my design clients with confidence.

Mr. Delgado and his team were very professional, courteous, and respectful. Their attention to detail was outstanding. If Mr. Delgado happened to encounter what he considered to be a problem during the installation process, he would take the time to explain the issue and had a solution without surprising me with any additional expense. With so many things that can go wrong when hiring a contractor, it feels great when you're fortunate to find someone who cares about their reputation and the quality of their work! Great Job!

The job was a big ask and Gerald (owner) took the job and never wavered even when the work became even more complex and time consuming. Saw the project through being detailed and customer centric. This is my go-to team for all of my wood flooring needs!

Gerald did an excellent of job of replacing a couple of hardwood floor pieces. Reasonably priced and very communicative throughout the process. Will definitely keep Delgado in mind on the next step when my floors need to be fully restored. ?

Gerald's prices can't be beat and his guys get in and out quickly. He has refinished several types of historic wood floors for me and every time I'm so pleased I called him. He even makes repairs and patches entire sections of floors so that you'll have no idea which areas were replaced.

Removed replaced many damaged hardwood floor planks. Great result - cannot even tell where the new boards are - did an excellent job keeping dust down and cleaning afterwards. Highly recommend for any and all hardwood floor needs. Added bonus: lowest of several bids.

We have an 80 year old house with pine floors that were hidden under old tile. We tore up the tile and the floor still looked horrible and had a layer of glue and a section that had rotted wood. We decided to go with Delgado Wood Floors and are happy we did. We did one room to see how they would do and if we would hire them again and we definitely will. Mr Delgado and his team are very professional and he listens to the customers needs and is very responsive. They repaired the rotted area and made our floor look amazing.

It went so well that we hired him to replace our stairs. We had a contractor do them and they were horrible. I told them I wanted Mr. Delgado to redo and after seeing his work they agreed that he could redo the old staircase. I look forward to working with him again. His crew is so nice and respectful.

Great! I got an estimate within days of my request and they were able to do the work the following week. They were very courteous and skilled. The work was finished within a few hours, and I was very pleased with the way the floor looked. They cleaned up the area when they were done, and I felt the price was fair for the work that was done.

Mr. Delgado was very professional. Timely scheduled and completed job estimate--no hidden costs. Set mutually agreeable install date. Install crew showed as planned--2 to 3 crew worked on any given day--2 1/2 days to complete. Lead installer was just top skill level--great job.

They did an awesome job in a short amount of time. Completely redid the floors to where it looked as if we had replaced the old floor with new flooring. We recommend him to everyone that comes over and compliments how great our floors look now.

Professional and honest. Actually hired for only half the house but it turned out so good we decided to do the whole house. We hired him again a few weeks after the first job. He is flexible, honest, and hardworking.

Gerald Delgado gave us an estimate and performed the services per the estimate. He was able to obtain the wood we had selected at a better price than quoted elsewhere. They removed the carpet, leveled the foundation cement, and installed the wood as scheduled. The wood floors look great. Also, the painter that he recommended was excellent (Gustavo painted the molding and did some touch up on the walls). Delgado Wood floors saved us $1000 based on another quoted. I highly recommend Delgado Wood Flooring.

When we found out that we had what looked like pretty nice hardwood floors underneath the carpet that had been in the house since we moved in over 20 yrs ago. We looked at the floors and realized that they needed professional help. We researched companies and read a lot of reviews , mainly on Angie's list. We came across Delgado floors. We called, and Gerald was able to come look at our living room and tell us what he could do. Gerald showed up when he said he was going to show up , his guys showed up and they were all very polite and professional. Gerald and his crew put in a day's work each day, they cleaned up afterwards. They did a great job and we are so happy with our new living room. Delgado wood floors are professional and know their trade. Would recommend to anyone. Made 65 year old floors look new. All my guest agree, job well done.
