You are informed when tech is in route along with a photo of the tech so that you get no surprises. He was very knowledgeable of his duties and finished in a timely manner. They clean the work area upon completion of job. I would give each category a grade A.

Very well.  They arrived ahead of time, did the job quickly, and left no mess.  We had a new central air and heating system installed by them in September of 2012, which is how we have the service contract with them.  That big job was also done in a timely manner by polite technicians who left our house as they found it.

They did a good job and were right on time.  They were very cordial, too.  We didn't have any issues with the unit afterward.  Granted the prices are higher on the weekend, though, and the parts were very expensive.

Over the next three weeks Deltone ordered the wrong part three times. Each time my tenants rightfully became more annoyed as did I. Several times I had to call, find out if the part was in and reschedule the appointments. The weather starting warming up and the need for the part diminished. Deltone finally called back and said they had the right part and would return the following week to replace it. They never did. <br /> In October, 9 months later, I called them again. I figured if they had the right part maybe they could install if properly. They could not locate the part so they ordered a new one. Again they had the wring part sent or ordered at least three times. I started increasing my phone calls, complaints, etc as it got colder. The problem was blamed on past employees, the parts company and even the UPS. <br /> Now 11 months after the original call they called me to tell me that the wrong part arrived again and their boss did not want to deal with it anymore. As a condolence they would not charge me anymore for their services. They stall have part of my heating unit and I'm waiting to receive it back. <br /> It is hard for me to give across the board Fs for anyone. But I really feel like Deltone deserved this one. My problem was not a difficult one for them to solve. They just seem too inept to get it solved. <br />

As to the initial fee, this is to cover the cost of getting the technician to you and to cover the time it takes to properly diagnose the problem, once that is done, there would be an additional fee for parts and the labor necessary to make the repair. Now from that point on is where it sounds like the service went south and I will tell you as a consumer, I would have been as frustrated as you. The entire Deltone team strives each and every day to take care of our customers so that the type of issues that happened to you do not happen. It is unfortunate that in your case it seams that Deltone has dropped the ball and once again I apologize for that. I do appreciate you letting us know of your frustration so that we can bring it to the attention of the entire team in order to prevent this from happening again and I hope that this one instance will not keep you from giving us a second chance to show you that we can take care of you in the future and make you a Raving Fan.
