The following is a text I sent to Denko Bright Electric on Monday, 6/26/17. I'm sure I sound frustrated, but this guy is completely unreliable or trust worthy. "We purchased this service from you on June 11th. The preferences we listed were: 6/12/17; 6/13/17; and 6/16/17. You did not call us to set up a date, so I called you on Tuesday, 6/20/17. We set up an appointment for you to come to do the work on Thursday, 6/22/17 in the afternoon after 3:00 pm. You did not show for the appointment and I had to contact you again to find out why. We set another appointment for Friday, 6/23/17 and you said you would show up after 3:00 pm. My wife waited all afternoon for you both days. If you do not come today and complete the work, I will file a complaint with Angie's List and will submit reviews to the website. It's your choice." We have not heard back from him after missing both appointments, I would not recommend anyone use this company!

He showed up later than expected as he needed to go to the store to pick up the new panel. Overall, it was a good value for the work that needed to be done.

Came out for estimate and we agreed on price he never called or showed up for job. We called and texted no response,

Ivan gave me a quote and generally seemed interested in the job. I received quotes from other companies, and they treated me like a number and did not seem interested in even doing the work. Ultimately, Ivan was able to complete the work on time and it looked fabulous! The pricing was within reason.

Ivan came directly out! He was knowledgeable and figured out what the problem was. I had too many things on one of breakers. Ivan was able to move it around and he got it to stay on. He was so helpful I was released to have it fixed so quickly , as I was worried about the water in the basement. The price was fair and I will be using him again.

All the work was completed as requested.

We were satisfied with the work he completed with the exception of one ceiling fan which started to make a loud noise when ran on high. The job was for 8 hours of electricity work, because he was done within a couple of hours we had a verbal agreement he would come back and install another ceiling fan that we had to purchase and replace two bathroom exhaust fans, in addition to fixing the fan he installed that wasn't working correctly. I texted him and we agreed on the date of 5/19/17 at 2:00 for these additional repairs, he was a no show no call at the agreed upon time. I texted several times and he finally texted me back saying he got stuck at his job, could we rescheduled. We rescheduled for 5/21/17 at noon, again he was a no call no show. That monday morning I filed a complaint with Angie's list requesting a refund. That monday afternoon the provider text me and wanted to reschedule again and promised to show. We rescheduled for 5/24/17 at 5:00, once again a no call no show. At this point I would like a refund of my money and not deal wit this provider any more.

Very well, but after consideration did not proceed with solution.

After contacting him numerous times after missing his appointment this contractor refused to even call me back.

Ivan replaced an old fuse panel with a new circuit breaker panel.

Shortly after purchasing a deal through Angie’s List, Ivan reached out to get a better understanding of the work I was looking to have completed, and to set up a date/time to address the tasks. When the scheduled day came around, he was right on schedule (even arrived a little earlier — a nice change of pace from most contractors), along with calling as a courtesy beforehand. After a quick walk-through, he went right to work replacing (installing, in one instance) several ceiling fans throughout my home. Upon completion, he moved onto the installation of outdoor outlets, making recommendations and suggestions along the way regarding proper routing and overall aesthetics. Ivan was an absolute pleasure to work with, a professional whose work speaks for itself — tasks were taken from start to finish in a far shorter window of time than I would have imagined. I have no qualms recommending Ivan to those in need of electrical work or, if the situation ever arises, contacting him again for myself.

Ivan was very professional, courteous and worked fast. We plan on using him again for some exterior lighting that need replacing.

Ivan has been a pleasure to work with. He installed the switches efficiently and effectively. I thought it might take longer than the 2 hour special deal I had purchased but thanks to the focus that Ivan showed, he was able to finish the project. He offered some recommendations that were much appreciated. I plan to hire Ivan again to install an external light as well as an additional switch. I would highly recommend him to others.

Bottom Line: The guys were great overall and I plan on having them do more work in the future. Highly Recommended Full Details: I selected 3 dates spread over 3-4 weeks when I bought the deal. It took a few days for a response but they were able to make one of my dates work which is a bonus. They did not confirm the appointment the day before so I reached out, but otherwise communication was good. They were about 15-20 minutes late but someone called ahead which is all I ask. I'd recommend you provide details of your job ahead of time so you or they can acquire the fixtures or materials that may be needed. I did, but purchased the a few things that were incorrect (my fault) so Ivan make a quick run to HD to get the correct items. The guys showed up and worked fast. Ivan can literally change and test a socket in 1-2 minutes. They worked hard all day and completed a number of small jobs as well as a couple of more labor intensive projects such as installing cans in the ceiling. He also pointed out some bad work by a previous contractor that could have been dangerous and corrected it for me. The work was high quality and they cleaned up after themselves as well. In addition I didn't feel as if they were slacking or watching the clock ijn any way which is a concern when you pay hourly for a job. In fact, the opposite was true these guys did tons of stuff in the allocated time and I certainly received value for my money. I've hired a number of contractors and had experiences all over the map. These guys are honest, hard working, and provide high quality at reasonable prices.

Denko noticed that installation of previous fans was done incorrectly and fixed the problem. Installation went smoothly and performed well.

I purchased 8 hrs of electrical services for a great rate. The same day I made the purchase I was contacted by Ivan, which was all pointing to a positive outcome, in my mind. He called and we discussed the projects in length and immediately scheduled a date, which was supposed to be Sunday, April 30th. Our communication continued over the next few days, as I was purchasing my own materials. Again, I was very pleased with his response time and the extent he went to assist me with grabbing materials. (He sent pictures of what I should purchase). The day of our appt. I had bible class and explained that he should reach out to my husband if he needed any assistance with directions, parking, etc. He was due to arrive at my house at 10 am. I received a photo from him, shortly after 10, along with a text stating he was in an accident. I completely understood and told him that we would be in touch but we wanted him to get his affairs settled first. He spoke with my husband sometime during the morning and they agreed upon the following Saturday at 10 am. Saturday, May 6th I shot him a text at 9:32 am giving him details about my street, since it can be confusing. He responds he'll be there by 1 pm. I wasn't in a position where I could talk or respond. I didn't inform my husband so he called Ivan, who said he'll definitely be at my house by 1 pm. At 12:59 pm, I received a text that said "I'm on the way by you guys". I said "ok" although he was supposed to be at my house at 1 pm. We waited and waited.....no Ivan, no phone call. At this point we decided to cancel because this was beyond inconsiderate and unprofessional. We are extremely busy and we wasted our day waiting around for someone who had NO intention on showing up. My husband called to cancel and was sent to voicemail. So he sent him a text and said we were canceling and there was no need to show up and he simply said "he understood". Not, hey I'm almost there or I apologize. This led us to believe he had no intentions on coming to do the job. I did seek reimbursement from Angie's List. This threw off our entire renovation project and was all around disappointing, especially after such a promising start.
