We had help with the design and the quality of workmanship was outstanding. A young member of their staff, Brian, did most of the work. His work ethic was unequaled. We couldn't be happier with the final result.

Very well. The installers did a great job. I have had a few issues this past year with a screen and a broken part on one window. Mike- who does their service- does a great job! He is very professional, prompt and conscientious.

Excellent job!! The owner ( Nick), design specialist (Neil), and project manager (Dave) were very helpful with design and material selection for the jobs. They took care of everything. All of the workers were on time, respectful of our home, and courteous. Andrew and Jim are meticulous in their work and true craftsmen! I will not hesitate to have them in my home again for any other job we may have.

Nick was knowledgeable and agreeable to create our project. The skilled craftmen who did the actual work were excellent. The workers were very considerate, kept the works area isolated and cleaned up every evening. They were immediately responsive unforeseen issues that arose our 90 year old house. When I had and issue with the appearance of the water valves and drain in the sink. Someone came the next day to make it right. It was easy to communicate with the DiRisio team, they're strait and honest.

Project was well timed and progressed seamlessly through various stages - demolition, framing, installation, finish carpentry and painting so that we lacked access to the second floor for only 1 night. Planning including multiple house calls for precise measurements to maximize dimensions, selecting style options and consulting with lumberyard for stair dimensions and details. The crew was experienced, took pride in their work, and did not skimp on quality or details, independent of time.

From day one to finish 8 work days. Every day the work area was cleaned up like nothing was done. Every day items were completed as planned. DeRisio Construction was not called back to redo anything. I greatly recommend this company and I have already done so.

So - So! The overall project was just okay but not fantastic. We went with DeRisio even though he was more expensive because he seemed to know what he was talking about. At the end of the project, the brick work on the front of the building still has mortar stains although they claim they acid washed it several times. They replaced a brick door sill with a something they bent out of aluminum trim material. After repeated requests to fix it, they offered to put in a slate sill. I said that would be okay. Well, over one year later, it still isn't done. They replaced an exterior door that hasn't latched properly from the day it was installed. Great guys - but lousy workmanship. I wouldn't have them back.

Not good! They filled in the trenches with concrete and must have used a 2x4 to screed it off. Never touched it with a finish trowel. I had to rent a concrete grinder to grind off the high spots and then use a membrane to absorb the irregularities. I had them set the shower bases ($900 units) and one of them was 3/8" out of square in the opening. I had to shim all the walls to make it come out close to right. In both bathrooms, the shower faucet was set 1-1/2 behind finish wall level. Any plumber should have known better. My additional cost was over $700 plus a lot of unnecessary labor. I wouldn't let them near a project of mine again.

Working with Neil as the designer was truly and enjoyable experience. Every single DiRisio employee was professional and easy to work with. The design ideas that Neil shared were spot on and as each aspect of the remodel unfolded, the space came more to life and we fell more in love with how beautiful it was turning out. The small details like the finishes on the hardware, the stain on the stairs matching the flooring, the care that was taken to install the bathroom tile, were so appreciated by us and added up to a terrific finished product.

I cannot say enough good things about DeRisio. These guys are great. They completed a large renovation project in a very short time period (less than two weeks). The project included removing a load bearing wall, reframing interior walls, installing hardwood floors, refinishing existing floors, installing carpet, running cabling through walls, etc. They were punctual, friendly, and cleaned up every day. They offered suggestions for minor changes along the way, sought my input on decisions when appropriate, and did a fantastic job. I really enjoyed the experience and would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Great! All the people who worked on the job are employees, no subs (except granite), so it was well coordinated, and everyone had the same high standards. Minor problems were addressed very promptly. All of the crew members were very friendly and easy to work with. At the end of each workday, the project area was cleaned and the refuse was hauled away. The new kitchen is a real transformation and I'm very pleased. I recommend this firm highly!

DeRisio did an outstanding job.  The quality of their work was excellent.  They were exceedingly professional- showed up everyday at 8 AM on the dot; worked a full day; left the work area and parts of the house they had to walk through completely clean (like they were never there); polite and friendly.  While the quote I got from them was a little bit higher than other contractors I am convinced that I would not have gotten anywhere near the level of service and quality of work they provided with anyone else.  Nick DeRisio popped by a few times to inspect the work as it was progressing, which I appreciated.  I was thrilled with them and would definitely hire them again to do major work in my home. <br />

They did a great job. They were fast and did not make a mess in the house while they were working. They have a great crew and I would recommend them for any jobs I have. <br />

I had all of the windows(22) replaced in my mothers house the originals  where 40 years old and in need of replacing We worked with Brian to work out all the details to have to have the work completed. I wanted more then just a window company that pops out the old window and pops in the new one, I also did not want any surprises we paid the price quoted there where no extra charges I was concerned there might be framing that might need to be replaced and wanted an experienced crew just in case  They have a wonderful crew (Joe, Matt, Ross,Dave, Marty) all very helpful and knowledgeable the work was completed on time and the new windows look fabulous Thank you for all your hard work job well done <br />

DeRisio's team of 5 landscape workers showed up at the assigned day and time with all materials. His foreman/expert designer discussed the final plans out with us to confirm he was on the right page, then set his crew to work. Everyone had a job, and though our yard is not large, each member of the team knew what to do when and where to make sure that no one was working at cross purposes. It was well choreographed with a beautiful result. And, with all that, the cost was exactly as estimated. GREAT company to work with and Nick is a wonderful businessman. <br />

His crew of 3 hardscape artists came in and rebuilt the stoop. Then his crew of 2 carpenters worked with us to make sure the design was what we wanted and built it perfectly to what we expected. And, despite the inevitable surprises one comes across in 75 year old houses, the job came in at cost as estimated.

By far, the best experience we have ever had with any contractor. They were reasonably priced- out of 5 quotes, not the highest, not the lowest. They provided a very detailed quote. They were here everyday as expected and worked hard all day long. They paid attention to every detail, the workers truly took pride in their work. If we did notice a small detail that wasn't as we expected, they were quick to fix it or come up with a solution and did so while maintaining a pleasant attitude. They went out of their way to come up with a cat door solution for us, given my original cat door requirement would not work while maintaining the door strength integrity. I can't say enough good things about DeRisio, we would use them again in a heartbeat - no hesitation. <br />

This job was a master bathroom renovation involving a complete tear-out of the existing bathroom, including moving of walls and significant plumbing changes. This represented a three week job. Following the demolition portion of the project and construction of the new walls, a new double vanity and new air tub were installed, and the entire bathroom (floor and shower) were freshly tiled. DeRisio Construction assigned a single individual, Andrew, to do most of the work, final painting being the primary exception. Andrew brought extensive skills to the job including drywall, electrical, plumbing, and tiling, and was meticulous in all his work. Furthermore, he was a very pleasant individual to have working in the house for an extended period of time. He also brought an outstanding work ethic to the job. Importantly, he was an excellent problem solver and very responsive to requests for minor adjustments to the original plan. <br /> Throughout the project, Nick DeRisio (owner of DeRisio Construction) worked closely with us to ensure that the end result fully met our expectations. His quote for the job was extremely competitive, and where he was able to get discounts on materials and fixtures with local vendors he shared those discounts with us in full.  <br /> DeRisio Construction came to the project with high recommendations from others and we had experience with their work earlier in 2014 when they completed a small powder room renovation for us. Both completed jobs, powder room and master bath, fully met our highest expectations. Without question, I will be using DeRisio Construction for additional projects in the future. <br />

They replaced the door w/out any grief.  They got me what I wanted.  The installation went well, the employee was great!  I am so pleased w/ the quality of the work, w/ how they stand behind everything they do and they go beyond to make sure their customer is happy!  I plan on having them replace my window in the spring.

very good, no problems, had to wait a little bit for the shower door to be delivered but not big deal. Our worker Scott was excellent in his work, he even took care of our dogs when we were not there. <br /> Nick DeRisio, the owner was a excellent to deal with, honest and full of knowledge. He check on progress on a regular basis and always return call and/or emails on a timely manner. <br /> We got 7 estimates for this work, DeRisio was not the cheapest but was by far not the most expensive. <br />
