"I received a call from a client for an estimate to paint her home in Gables By The Sea. She informed me that she might be selling her house in the future and she wanted to update the look of her very big home. The existing color and the texture on the walls somewhat dated the house. I recommended that we start by cleaning the roof, all the walkways and the house...and to trim-back some of the landscaping. We painted an accent color to match the roof on the fascia, and the walls a beautiful shade of off-white. The house looks great and could almost pass as new construction. She was very happy with the results and asked me to paint several rooms on the inside of the house as well...We removed wallpaper from her daughters two story bedroom, sanded the walls, and painted the walls. We had worked with DeRose Painting earlier on some interior work and had such a positive experience that they were the obvious choice when we needed the exterior of our hose refinished. Our house has a concrete exterior with creeping vines along the side. John took his time to understand exactly where we wanted the vines trimmed back to, and where we wanted to have the house painted. He and his team carefully patched numerous cracks throughout the exterior and then did an amazing job painting the house. Because we wanted to leave some small areas covered with vines, it was necessary to color match both the trim and the walls. This was a large and complicated job and they executed it flawlessly. We couldn't be happier and will call John again anytime we see anything that needs a bit of paint.

DeRose Painting is a pleasant surprise of a company in Miami and an absolute pleasure to work with. John takes his time to thoroughly go over the job, carefully going over potential issues and making sure he has all the necessary information. This same attention to detail is applied to both his preparation and cleanliness, as well as to the actual painting itself. He and his team of two people carefully moved and covered furniture within our den and foyer, and then set about patching and repairing a prior contractor debacle, whereby a roofing company had put hundreds of nail holes through our tongue and groove, exposed wood ceiling. He then painted and touched up the roof to the point where it looked as good as new. We were so happy with the job that we proceeded to have our kitchen ceiling done as well. Highly recommend for quality work done by a responsive and responsible contractor.

What most impressed me however was two weeks later when I needed a small mount of additional touch up work inside the house,. I sent a text to John who was extremely responsive to my request and found an hour in his busy day to stop by and do the work. This kind of service is hard to find these days!! Thx so much John.

"Thank you for your review! I wanted to give potential customers a description of the painting project: The client has a new metal roof(dark bronze) and we matched the color for the facia, shutters, and metal railings. We painted the walls and overhang a Benjamin Moore color called White Dove, and the accent colors in Simple White. The house is in Palmetto Bay and it now looks clean and modern. For the interior work we patched the plaster in the kitchen and bathroom (from the leaking roof). primed, and painted (two coats) The rooms are painted in OC122(Cotten Balls.)..also a modern update. John"

They said it was going to be $4900.00, I think, but then it went up to $5500.00. I think that was the final on it. They did some good work for me. They left the area perfectly clean. Two people came out to do the work for me. It took them approximately 7 days to complete the work.

John was very punctual and worked to meet our specific timeline. He also went above and beyond when he re-painted some areas where he saw that our original choice of finish was not going to be satisfactory. We really felt that he wanted the place to look as good as we did. Also, when there were some follow-up/touch-up spots we noticed, he was able to address immediately.

Very well. John DeRose and his assistant Rolando did a beautiful job painting my house. They were professional, arrived on time, and did high quality work. The house looks beautiful! John was very thorough in answering all of my questions and making sure that I was satisfied with the work. When the job was done, they cleaned up after themselves and everything looked great.

The project was finished in one week. The result were above expectations. John stands by his work and even made it a point to return and touch up small details after the project had finished. I would strongly recommend him and his team for any painting project you might have and plan on hiring John again in the future.

John was very professional and responsive when I spoke with him on the phone and in person. He was able to work with my schedule as needed. The price was good for the work compared to other quotes. Some quotes I had received were more and some were less. Overall, the house looks much better than before the painting. However, there were some issues and I wasn't 100% happy with the job. It seems that they did not mask when they painted the baseboards so some of the lines bleed a little or are not as crisp as they should be. They did a great job patching an area on the ceiling, but when they painted the ceiling they missed a number of spots that were very noticeable because the paint did not match the old ceiling color exactly and the bathroom ceiling was done very sloppily. John was very accommodating to come back and redo the spots on the ceiling that needed it the most and after that it was much improved. However, I feel like a professional company should not need to come back and redo their work and masking to ensure crisp, straight lines along the baseboards should be a given.
