Derrick Fausnight Flooring

Derrick and his crew installed our engineered hardwood floors and left us pleased with his work. The guys were friendly, arrived to work when they said they would and Derrick was meticulous with the installation. Honestly, I'm not sure what more we could have hoped for. Our experience with Fausnight Flooring was a positive one.

Excellent work

I gave this guy access to my home he took measurements without a laser and then never responded with an actual price quote despite saying he would. The guy is flaky and obviously does not know how to make money. You should choose a better professional.

After contacting Angi’s list, Derrick called immediately and came out the next day to provide a quote. We decided to go with him and we scheduled a date. He told me if he could work us In earlier he would contact me and let me know. And that is exactly what he did. He communicated with me when I texted with questions or calls. He and Drew both have design ideas as well. Drew installed the tile and did an excellent job. Paying close attention to detail. Both Derrick and Drew did the grouting and a through clean up. They were both so friendly, professional, knowledgeable. I would absolutely use his company again and I would highly recommend his services to my family and friends. Thank you Derrick and Drew.

Derrick was hired to redo severely butchered work done by a previous so called contractor (Waldron Painting Services and More LLC - BEWARE - DO NOT HIRE Matt Waldron). Derrick had to repaint the interior of my entire home, replace molding, rip out new LVP flooring butchered by the previous contractor, correct that contractor's mess of caulk and wood putty used to try to hide mistakes. Derrick and his crew are passionate about their craft; displaying an attention to detail and going above and beyond in order to ensure the customer is completely satisfied. Derrick is on the job working with his crew and managing all aspects of the work. They are respectable, courteous, clean and efficient. Derrick turned what was a disaster into a home we are proud to live in. I would not hesitate to hire Derrick (Fausnight Flooring) again. I have referred him to family and friends who have seen his work and are excited to have a contractor they can trust to make their home a special place. Please, do yourself a favor and do not hire anyone else....

Awesome men in this company I really enjoyed their honesty

Derrick Fausnight and his team (Justin & George) worked on our rental property to get it into amazing condition. After our renters destroyed the carpets, tile and walls, we looked for a company that could come in and make the property look beautiful again. We met with a few companies, but Derrick had great vision for what we were looking for and offered to go above and beyond with his services. Choosing Fausnight Flooring was the best decision we've made with our remodel project. Here is a list of everything they did for us: 1. Removed the tile and carpet throughout the entire house 2. patched and resurfaced the underlying foundation where settling had occurred 3. removed all the shelving from all closets then patched, sanded and retextured all the interior walls 4. Painted all interior walls, crown molding, doors and frames throughout the house 5. Installed new backsplash in the kitchen and around the fireplace 6. Seamlessly installed premium flooring throughout the whole house 7. Repaired or replaced damaged floor boards that apparently had been chewed on by the renters' dog. 7. They discovered errors in the original construction and made repairs. 8. I was trying to repair a section of my front door and, while I was busy with work, Derrick and his crew fixed it for me 9. Painted the exterior of the front door for us 10. Cleaned everything on their way out the door. I am sure I am leaving some things off this list because they did so much. But, also, he checked in and updated us with any concerns and he brought every detail that might be noticed to our attention so we could decide, together, how to improve the appearance of the home. The point of this review is a simple one. If you are looking for a local company to come in and treat you and your home with the utmost in care and respect, Derrick and his team are the perfect choice.

Derrick and his team did an EXCELLENT job! They were fast, careful about their surroundings, thorough, and paid attention to detail. They were personable and happy to explain their process and answer questions. I would recommend them with great confidence.

Derrick responded within minutes to my request for a quote. He called me when my materials was ordered and called me back when the materials came in. During the job he was very professional very kind listened to our needs. He pays great attention to details. He put dolly on all of my appliances when he moved them so he wont damaged the floors. And made sure I was !00 % satisfied before he took the final payment. Reviewed his warranty for his work and warranty for the product. I definitely to others who would need flooring works and before he left he swept my floors and removed all the packaging and any trash from the sides. It was a wonderful experience! Great!! Could not have been better

Derrick and his crew were excellent. I expected at least two days to complete the job. However, it was done in one day. They were courteous, professional and excellent craftsmen. I intend to hire Derrick in the future for more planned reflooring and a patio installation.

Derrick and his guys were great! I am going to have them come out and do my master bathroom. The job they did was the best, they are hard workers and came on time. Being a single woman, I trusted them and felt safe. I know how important that is for other single women.

It was great. The young man that came was very polite and had the job completely finished in a very short time. We are very pleased and if we ever need flooring or help again with our flooring, we will definitely call them.

We first hired a we'll-know local company to assist us with our remodel. After several unsuccessful attempts to properly build a new shower, we ended up letting that company go and hired Derrick. From start to finish, Derrick was a real professional. His amazing attention to detail and a "do it right" dedication to his craft saved our project. Derrick helped us plan and choose the best options for our space and really was able to capture the design we had in mind. From shower to floors and everything in between, hiring Derrick is a no-brainer.
