Desert Car Care of Chandler

They were up front about price and how long it would take. I have had no problems with the car since then...

Not good. I took my car in after seeing a review on Angies List and advised they were recommended. After receiving a phone call with the total cost of repairs, I prepared myself to pay almost $900 thinking that price seemed reasonable for the work needed. However, when I went to pick my car up, the price of repairs was actually a lot higher. After questioning Amy at the front desk she indicated there were missing costs from the quote, however she was the one who called me to advise on the quote. She did however lower the price and then applied a coupon, so I thought nothing of it. 3 weeks later, my car started to make a really loud noise and I didn't feel comfortable taking it back so I decided to go with another repair shop. After explaining my concerns, I left the vehicle in their care. When they called me back, they told me that the hardware used to hold the alternator/belt in place was missing and this was causing the noise I was hearing. I cannot imagine these bolts would fall off by themselves so I pulled out the paperwork from Chandler Car Care and noticed they recommended replacing struts and belts for another $1100 at the time I originally took my car in. I found it highly convenient that only after taking my car there I would be missing hardware that I myself cannot remove. When I called Chandler Car Care back, (after paying the other place to replace the hardware) I was told by Amy to "point out the hardware missing and they would take a look." I am not sure why she would think I could point this out to her which I conveyed, and then she indicated that she has no idea how that happened and although admitted they replaced ac belts, told me that they wouldn't have touched that area.

The people were friendly and kept me updated on the progress of my car called me to tell me how much everything would cost before they performed the work, figured out where the noise was coming from and fixed it, it was nothing serious ( my battery tray was touching the ac motor) but it was worrying me. Also honored the coupon I got from Angie's list, First time here I was really happy with the service I received will be bringing my other vehicle to get its service here too.

With the discounts they offer, the service is really affordable. They do good work. If something is wrong, they just have you bring it back. They also have a shuttle service that will take you back and forth. I would recommend them.

We made an appointment for a Thursday, dropped the car off on Wednesday evening. Thursday afternoon we were informed all of the work had been completed and the car was ready to be picked up. When we arrived we were informed that one of the services on the coupon was to replace the power steering fluid, however our car had a sealed P/S unit and in lieu of performing that service Desert Car Care substituted a complete fuel injection cleaning which based on their services chart was much more expensive than the power steering flush but they honored the value of the coupon and performed the higher cost service at no additional service to us. <br /> We generally do not do this thorough of a service to any of our cars all at one time (generally due to excessive cost) but since we were giving this car to a relative we wanted to have everything serviced and all fresh fluids from front to rear thus allowing this relative who has limited resources to have a fairly new, low mileage car without the need to worry about any major services for quite some time. The only service we did not perform was an oil change prior to driving the 2000 miles to our relative but had it done when we were there so everything liquid in the car was freshly changed and the car would be trouble free for years to come. <br /> We were impressed with Desert Car Care (our first visit) in their professional manner, their willingness to not only honor the coupon without any up-sell pitch when we dropped the car off but also they went above and beyond the scope of the coupon in performing a substitute service not listed on the coupon at the original coupon price. This represents how good companies conduct themselves when given the latitude to perform services with the customers best interests in mind, <br />

Man - LOVE this crew of people and professionals!  We will be taking ALL of our vehicles to Desert Car Care Center of Chandler from this point forward! <br /> Will try to keep this brief:  Our auto dealer that we've been loyal to for 15 years and purchased 5 vehicles from quoted us nearly $10K to replace the A/C compressor and system in our family vehicle...  and then after adjusting for loyalty and service discounts, reduced the quote to $7,300...  really?  Really?! <br /> Knowing that we needed the A/C badly with the 4th of July weekend coming up, I turned to Angie's list and looked for local providers with deals and good reviews - let me tell you, the positive reviews that Desert Car Care received were all real... and understated!  Experience it for yourselves, folks! <br /> We were treated just as well over the phone initially as we were in person - which was absolutely warm, consultative and sympathetic...  they took the time to understand the problem, explain what possible solutions and costs we were facing, and explained what they would do and how long it would take...  met expectations as promised and over-delivered on price and timing. <br /> The responsiveness was excellent - phone calls and texts every step of the way to keep us up to date on progress and a perfect final result with a 2-year / 25,000 mile guarantee on their work.  Oh, and the final price was less than half the discounted price from the dealer...  still expensive, but feel a lot better about supporting a local business that cares about its customers and service delivery / quality. <br /> As a CFO of a public company, details matter to me - and I appreciate the detail and service provided by Desert Car Care Center of Chandler.  Again, they will have all of my business going forward! <br /> The BEST! <br />

They were able to get me in for an appointment quickly which was very much appreciated.  They were having a busy day but still took care of me right away.  Unfortunately the auto tech broke my key off in the ignition, so my service was delayed.  They did however drive me home for the spare key then picked me up later that day once my vehicle was ready.  The only thing that I would have really liked was if they would have paid to have another key made for me since they broke mine.  I have an older model vehicle, so special key necessary. <br />

These guys are great. I've reviewed Desert Care Care before and they've always been excellent. We have 2 cars and 1 truck that they've taken care of for the past 3 years and I only have praise for this organization. <br />

Frank and his entire staff opened their doors for free to give back to those that do so much for the community. He and his team gave any teacher with a current school ID or pay stub a free oil change and inspection. No only did they treat teachers to the maintenance for their vehicles, he also got a local food truck vendor to setup and offered free breakfast burritos. He and his stuff were very attentive and went above and beyond. As an educator things like this are always appreciated. Thanks to this we have found a trustworthy shop and mechanics for life. Thanks to everyone at Desert Car Care of Chandler, you made this teachers day much brighter!

Desert Car Care will do whatever it takes to get the job done right.  They are extremely friendly and courteous.  They do what needs to be done and won't try to push unnecessary repairs.  Their customer service is without equal. <br />

Great customer service!  Chris and the staff are very helpful and provide quality customer service.  My Jeep runs great after the work.  My wife had some issues with her brakes so we brought her car back & they machined her rotors which helped for a while.  We need to bring it back down to see what's going on as the pads might be to hard for the rotors.

They are very informative and well into brake things and a lot of different price and quotes for you so you can choose very easily what kind of service that you like them to provide and based that from attend to what you can and can’t do at that time and they’re very honest on what should be done now and what should be done later.
