Went excellent, couldn't be happier <br />

They did an excellent job, went above and beyond, delivered all they promised.  Price was fair, they were on time and on budget. <br />

Nathyn has done work for us before and as usual, we were very pleased with the results. Our existing windows, which were very old, drafty and ready to be replaced, were  improperly measured and poorly installed. Nathyn took precise measurements allowing the windows to fit better, which made them appear larger and gave them a more ascetically pleasing appearance. <br /> He added trim moldings to the inside and outside of the window frame, giving them a more finished look. Nathyn installed crown molding, which he does particularly well, to our living room and dining room, painting and caulking them to match the other moldings in our family room, kitchen and hallway. Nathyn stuck to his time frame of five days for completing this project as he did for projects he has done in the past. <br /> We have referred Nathyn to both family and friends and would highly recommend him to anyone. He is professional and ethical and also very personable. We will have him back to do more projects later this year. <br />

I have owned this house for approximately 40 years and done several improvement projects. Until now these have always been stressful experiences at best. Through Angie's List, I contracted with Nathyn Wellmann of Designer Developments for a project that has just been completed. This involved both interior and exterior work. I am totally satisfied with the results. Nathyn knew what to do and did it right. The quality of his work is excellent.

Nathyn and crew arrived on the date scheduled, right on time.  He started right away completely gutting our main bathroom, but managed to cause only a minor inconvenience by creating a make-shift shower that we were able to use the next day. He tiled the tub and shower area, including the shower ceiling, which gave it a very clean, uniformed look. <br />  He also completely gutted a half bath, finishing it with wainscot, tile border and paint (look great) and partially renovated the kitchen by moving an entrance way, removing wallpaper, priming and painting the walls, installing porcelain tile on the floor and installing crown molding. <br /> In addition, he fixed a problem we had with our existing moldings around the cabinets, that plagued us for years and repaired a leaking window.  We had another problem with our heating duct work but Nathyn came up with a very creative solution to re-route  some of the ducts and get the return duct functioning.   <br /> The renovation in our family room came out beautifully because of the detailing that Nathyn did such as, building columns in the corners of the room which gave the walls beautiful architectural character and making a built-in shelf for displaying knick knacks.  <br /> We have lived in our house for over twenty-five years and we have to say that Nathyn was one of the best contractors that we have ever used. He was able to tackle any problem that he encountered in our older home (built in 1958) and paid attention to many small details. <br /> His knowledge of and dedication to his work was something we haven't seen in a while. Also, If a small problem arises he will not "nickel and dime" you. He only does one job at a time which may mean a short wait, but his work is worth waiting for; we already have a project lined up for the spring! <br /> In closing we would like to say that we highly recommend Designer Developments not only for the outstanding work that Nathyn does, but also because he is true to his word and goes above and beyond the contracted work. He takes pride in the final outcome of the job almost as if it were his own house. <br />

Nathan Wellmann did an excellent job. He was meticulous and highly professional in regards to his work. He took his time to make sure sure everything was done to perfection and took great care to make sure all areas were clean after each work detail was completed.  I have never come across such a dedicated professional in his line of work. Indeed, I even told him so. He is also very fair in regards to pricing. I guarantee that anyone who employs Nathan Wellmann of Designer Developments will be happy with the results of his labor. In closing, I want to also add that he was very pleasant to talk to  and more than willing to go over every detail of the projects involved.

They are very good. The wood floor cost $1,800 and the tile floor is like $1,200. I liked everything from the estimate all the way down to the installation. The installation was great. They worked fast and the price was fair. I like them and have used them a bunch of times.

From the estimation process to the install- everything went well. <br /> Nathyn and his men tore off the existing roof and repaired issues with the underlying beams. <br /> There was some overlap with his roof work and another contractor's floor work, but Nathyn's team primarily stayed busy outside.  <br /> He managed to find shingles that not only matched my roof, but had to have been exactly the same ones (but not faded yet). The white sealant around the skylight and vent pipe are also much better now.  <br /> Overall an excellent experience, and the outcome is fantastic. I imagine the value of the house increased by far more than what Nathyn charged me for his craftsmanship due to aesthetics alone, but the real value is the money I'll save by preventing future water damage! Thanks Nathyn! <br />

We are extreme;y pleased with the work that was done, and with the experience of working with Nathyn.  He and his crew were punctual, neat, professional, and always went the extra mile.  We will definitely be using him again, and have already highly recommended him to family members and friends. <br />

I would highly recommend Nathyn Wellmann and Designer Developments. Not only did he and his guy do a great job, but they were on time, professional, and cleaned up after themselves everyday.  They also worked to the max each day and finished ahead of schedule.  His proposal was typed out explaining everything that would be done, used, and charged for.  I also asked him a question about my heating and air and he basically took a quick look and gave me a recommendation on the spot without any fee.  I will definitely be using him for future projects around the house. <br />

8/25/15 update.  It has been nearly 3 years since the completion of our bathroom renovation.  The job has not held up nearly as well as we expected.  Grout is chipping on the floor, tiles are loose, and worst of all the bath room tub drain has leaked thru the ceiling of our downstairs twice!  We're going to try and fix this with Nathyn but the job has held up much worse than we had anticipated for the money we paid. <br /> <br /> Nathyn renovated our main bathroom. He and is workers did an incredible job. Not only were they neat, punctual, and professional - they were all around nice people.  Our bathroom turn out fantastic;  and they took care of our elderly dog while we went to a funeral. <br /> Our bathroom turned out better than expected. And best of all - Nathyn made sure we had access to the shower nearly the whole 2 weeks! He ripped out the bath to the studs and installed everything new, soup to nuts. We got a new tub, shower head, window, toilet, floor, walls, vanity, and medicine cabinet. He left me with a couple of business cards; everyone that comes over has raved <br /> about how nice it looks and has left with a card. <br /> I can't recommend Nathyn and his group enough. Invoicing was spelled out from the start. There were no surprises. His estimate was spot on. <br /> We will certainly use Designer Developments in the future for our home renovation projects. <br /> <br /> <br />

It went great see above for the whole story which I placed in the first box of this review.One thing I will recommend to possible clients is to be specific as to what you want. I had always used BenMoore paint and Nathyn uses another brand. It was not a problem for me but someone else might demand  a specific product. If you tell him at the estimate what you want he will reflect it in the estimate.

 He’s my main go to guy for anything I have to have done in my house. He is excellent. This guy is the most meticulous guy I have ever seen. He is great.

It was the BEST experience of our lives. Nathyn is the man, he does exactly what he says he is going to do.  He is very punctual, completes projects when he says he will.  Nathyn has an experienced person that works with him who is also very capable.  Nathyn makes professional suggestions that most people would not think of.  Thanks for the crown moulding in my hall way Nathyn.  LOVE IT! <br /> <br /> Nathyn is so trust worthy that I gave him the keys to my house when we were at work.  It is very rare these days to have the owner of a company actually doing the work.  I wish I had more projects for Nathyn at this time.  <br /> <br /> I cannot express our gratidue to Nathyn for all the work he has done to make our house a home.  Your AWESOME!!! <br />

The overall experience was very satisfying.  The quality of Nate's workmanship is exceptional.  I am a retired construction worker and can appreciate when a craftsman takes his time and does the right job.
