I recently had my kitchen cabinets & walls painted by Design Painting, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. From start to finish, the crew was professional, punctual, and precise. I was truly impressed with their care and attention to detail. They took their time to properly prep the space, kept everything clean, and made sure the final finish was perfect. The painters we got were very professional. They transformed a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom condo from a total mess to a beautiful apartment. They repaired sheetrock, primed and painted. The Men showed up daily until the job was completed. We are very satisfied

Hired Design Painting to refinish our cabinets as we were performing an entire kitchen refresh.They were very responsive and accommodating to many of our requests. From Jeremy to their foreman Maurice everything was professionally done. They also helped retrofitting our cabinets to accommodate a double oven and drawer microwave. Awesome job would recommend!

I first found Design Painting when I needed some repairs done after an emergency mold remediation. While Jeremy's team wasn't available in the timeframe I needed, he still spoke to me at length and offered proactive advice on how to find another vendor to meet my requirements. He was so knowledgeable and transparent that I reached out to him about 6 months later for additional work. His brilliant team repainted my kitchen, installed baseboard moulding throughout my apartment and renovated my bathroom (re-tiled, installed a new pedestal sink + toilet and repainted) - in less than three days. Jeremy was communicative throughout the process and carefully planned the work to minimize disruption to my family. The team was efficient, respectful and neat as a pin. After several disheartening experiences with contractors and other construction professionals, Jeremy and his team were a breath of fresh air. I cannot recommend them enough.

Design Painting did an excellent job tackling the tough job we had for them. Our second-floor walkup rental unit in North Brooklyn hadn't been painted in nearly 10 years when our longtime tenant moved out in May. There was not only years of **** and possibly smoke accumulation to deal with but also lots of holes, mollies and dents in the walls and ceilings to tackle. In addition, timing was an issue as we had a family medical emergency smack dab in the middle of when the job was meant to start. Design Painting worked with us and around our difficulties. We had a good feeling from the get-go, when Nick arrived to do an on-site estimate and presented as friendly, knowledgeable and professional. He got back to us quickly with an excellent bid. It was not the absolute lowest we got but we accepted it because of the firm's reputation and presentation. Point person Jeremy was helpful with the scheduling and on-site workers who arrived to complete the job (5 rooms, walls and ceilings) were professional, friendly and efficient. They got the whole project done in 3 days. We're very pleased with the results and recommend Design Painting wholeheartedly.

The work was extremely detailed, repairing imperfections in the walls before applying paint. Took off all vents, etc, even flipped over my doormat out of courtesy, that level of attention to detail is very much appreciated. I am very satisfied with the job that was done, thank you so much!

It is not often that I write reviews for products or services, however I feel when you do you do business with a company that provides outstanding service and top quality work that others should be well aware of what they have to offer. Due to the neglect of a precious contractor I had to have spray foam insulation injected into the walls of my recently renovated home, thereby rendering all the exterior walls and ceiling edges on my first floor into “Swiss cheese”. There was dozens of half inch holes throughout and two large sections of wall that had to be cutout. I researched heavily online before selecting someone to repair the drywall, sand and paint the walls to get them back to new condition. That’s where I found Jeremy of Design Painting. Not only did Jeremy promptly answer my phone call but he answered all my questions and reassured me that my walls would be smooth as glass and be restored to their new condition. Since I am extremely handy I explained to Jeremy that I am very particular about the work that I want done and he assured me it would meet my expectations. Not only did it meet my expectations, it exceeded them. To summarize my experience with Jeremy I would offer the following: Communication: Jeremy is always available VIA phone, text and email. You never wait on delayed responses and can always expect him to answer quickly and thoroughly from start to finish on the job. His workers reached out to me each morning by text to inform me they would arrive shortly. The contract for services rendered was clear, concise and thorough with nothing left to doubt or question. Receipt for down payment provided immediately. Timeliness: Within 48 hours of first booking Design Painting for my job they arrived at my door ready to work. They completed the job ahead of the schedule agreed upon when we spoke. Quality of work: Not only are the employees of this Design Painting polite and timely but most importantly they are true craftsman at their trade. These men worked at an extremely efficient pace while not skipping a beat in terms of quality for their work. Each step of the process was explained to me, each step was prepped with drop cloths and plastic to ensure cleanliness and a rapid cleanup at the end of the job. The drywall repair was absolutely flawless, no irregular bumps or rough spots, no off shading or discoloration from the patches that where done to fix the holes, no brush strokes or lap marks from rollers and all the trim cut lines where perfect. The painters where honest and up front going as far as telling me how certain portions may dry differently due to the nature of the work and if so I can call in the morning to schedule another coat to ensure my satisfaction. OUTSTANDING. Pricing: Design Painting pricing was of superb value. I use the term value intentionally and not the word “cheap”. You can always find “cheap labor” but that’s not what this company is about. They charge a fair and value driven price relative to the service and quality they provide their customers. You will not find someone who offers grade A work at a more competitive price then Jeremy and Design Painting. The detail and flawlessness of their work is worth it’s weight in gold relative to the prices they charge and will last for years to come. In conclusion, I could honestly say that not only would I not hesitate to use Design Painting again but that I would recommend their work to anyone in need of their services. Using Design Painting for my project proved to be a great decision and one that I have no doubt will be useful to me for future needs. Thank you Design Painting for bringing my home back to new!

This was an excellent experience from beginning to end. We needed to have basically the entire interior of our house painted. I called numerous painters, and Jeremy/Design Painting responded immediately. Within the hour he was at my house pricing out the job, paying close attention to all of my requests and details. He gave me a price which was what I expected to pay for a quality, professional paint job of this size. I met with one other company, but based on my interaction with Jeremy at Design Painting, I cancelled all of the other appointments I had made. Everything that Jeremy said he would do, he did. Contract was specific and sent as promised. When the painters showed up, they were professional, clean, meticulous and kind. Their work was superb. I used numerous colors, crown molding had to be painted, there were walls and ceilings that needed repair---everything was done without question and without problem. I have used many painters over the years and Design Painting is absolutely the best company I have used. Trust me when I tell you that I never hire contractors of any kind without doing my due diligence. You can have absolute confidence hiring Jeremy and Design Painters. I was so pleased with Miguel and Napoleon, who did such incredible work. Two final points: Jeremy was willing to work with me on the price, which was greatly appreciated and I added an additional room to the job once they had already started, and they still finished everything earlier than promised. You do not have to hesitate if you are considering using Jeremy and Design Painting.

The punchline: Design Painting undercut the price of the competition, offered to begin the job before everyone could, estimated the job would take three days (as did his competition), and then assembled a team who finished in one. I couldn't be happier with their price, time, and work, and will be a returning customer. More detail: I put my job's description on Angie's List, and Design Fencing called me back along with several others. I met with two other painters before Design Fencing because I was just shopping around, and I was sold the moment Jeremy and his crew came into my house to give me an estimate. They were extremely motivated and knowledgeable. Jeremy asked me about my family and when I mentioned that I had a seven week old son in the house, Jeremy upgraded the paint I would be using to make sure to have as minimal fumes as possible. Jeremy made time to go over his reviews with me, as well as photos from his team's previous work. He was able to guess what other painters I had seen, as well as their competitive price. He was able to undercut them, as well as starting the job before they were able to, and I was so happy to see the job done under budget and ahead of schedule. We negotiated a price that we could both be happy with, and he gave me an estimate of three days on the job. His crew showed up on time, laid down tarps, used name brand primer and paint, and asked my permission if they could stay a couple hours later on the first day of their job, to which I agreed. The team at Design Fencing worked so well together that, with the extended hours they voluntarily asked for, they were able to finish the *ENTIRE JOB* in that one (long) day. I am now able to begin moving my furniture into my house several days earlier than I was planning on, and it is wonderful. The paint job was by no means "rushed". The lines look great and were hand applied, the team cleaned up when they were done, and they offered to come back over the next couple days if I notice anything that needs a touch up, which I honestly didn't see the need for. They did a great job and the house looks new!
