The finished work is of very high quality and was completed in a very professional manner. A price change was fairly negotiated when the job changed after the rotten wood was removed. I highly recommend Detailed Home Improvement.

Delbert and his team did an outstanding job. I initially hired him to replace the trex on my deck. When he came to give the estimate, I was very impressed with his observations on the problems with the original installation and his explanation of how he would do the installation. Once he started the job, he uncovered rotten wood in the trim around the deck. We agreed that he should replace all of the rotten wood. He pointed out why the wood rotted and explained how he would replace that wood with better quality and primed wood that would last a lot longer and resist rotting. I watched him work and he was meticulous with his craft. I also ended up hiring him to take care of power washing the concrete architectural pieces on the front and back of my house. Again, he took the time to apply the bleach discretely and then power washed with water. The result was much cleaner than neighbors whose contractors did not take that approach. I highly recommend Delbert. You will be pleased with the results!

Perfect - he repaired the wall and I can't even tell it was repaired - I was amazed on how well he blended in the patch - there was no way I could have even come close to that level of professionalism if I would have attempted the repair myself - would absolutely use him again!!!!

This was the second time I asked him to do some painting and Delbert, as always, did excellent work. He does his borders and trim free-hand, so he can work more quickly and makes a clean line even over uneven corners and surfaces. He had no complaints for doing a little putty work to cover small holes. We had to do two coats on part of it and one coat on the rest, because one of the two paints didn't cover the original color well enough. The best part, all of that was done in a single day without much need for me to keep an eye or issues. Just a quick consultation at the beginning and then at the end I had to make sure that things were good. Seriously top notch, and much higher quality than your typical.

Provider did not call to establish date for repair. After about 6 weeks of waiting, Angie's List was contacted, and offered a different provider. It was not at the same price and therefore was found to be unsatisfactory. Angie's List has refused to return the $135, even though no services have ever been arranged or provided.

Delbert was extremely professional. He was very responsive and came on short notice. We needed it done ASAP, so he came over the weekend to accommodate. He even brought a second painter because we wanted it done fast. The job was done quickly, and it came out great! Would definitely recommend Delbert.

It went great. My ceiling and wall look like they never had any holes in them. Delbert is really good at his job and has lots of attention to detail for a great price. A friend who saw a before and after was amazed.

First, the results were impressive, two coats of perfect paint, and I asked how he got the edges done so well. He does them free-hand, no tape. This is the proper way and will get you the best results every time. The color was consistent and looked great, the edges and corners were impeccable. He was kind and good to deal with and helped move the furniture, which was beyond what the job included. No drops of paint, good drop cloth use. The one issue was that he said he would come 8-8:30, and he ended up getting to me around 9:15, which meant I was rushed going to work. But all in all, an impressive job.

He took careful notes of what needed to be done and provided a detailed proposal. He is professional, courteous, prepares his work space, plans his scope of work, is efficient and does a fantastic clean up job. He works by himself. I have used him before on two occasions, have recommended him to others, and will call him again when I have painting that needs to be done.

Delbert was wonderful, and it's hard to find reliable professionals in this line of work who perform quality work. He took great care to make sure that the paint didn't get anywhere it wasn't supposed to be and did a beautiful job. We will use him again!

Mr. Labad was attentive and professional. In addition to the projects he could complete within the 3-hour Angie's List special, we asked him to do extra repairs. He completed all of the repairs, but because it was a rainy/muggy day, they didn't dry as quickly as we thought. He returned later to sand. Both times, he attentively covered all furniture and cleaned up after he was done. Great job. We would hire him again.

It went great! - I knew the general repair process and was tempted to do it myself but was afraid that I would not do a good enough job with the mud and the repairs would be apparent under the paint - so GLAD I didn't try myself!!!! - Delbert did a FANTASTIC job!!! - I keep looking at the area of repair and I can't see the seams at all - I would say it was a perfect mud / sanding job and there is NO way I could have done that!

Horrible. I needed a tiny room painted and it was not done correctly. The room is extremely small so I thought it would be an easy task, but no. I bought the most expensive paint so the coverage would be good, but it wasn't. They used paint brushes at the top of the wall instead of taking the roller all the way up (they didn't tape anything so I guess that's why they didn't want to take the roller to the top). It was just a half *** job overall and now I am going to have to hire someone else to come and fix it. Not impressed, filed a complaint with angies list and waiting on a response. DO NOT use them for painting.

"Ms.[Member Name Removed] bought a paint coupon from my company via Angie's List for $199. The fine print says it two coats of paint on the walls. The room walls were a dark gray and light gray, she provided valspar reserve premium paint. She also wanted the closet painted which was not included in the coupon, and asked how much extra would it cost to paint, I just told her to give whatever she can, she agreed. She asked if the paint would be enough for the entire job and I said yes. I painted the entire room and closet with 2 coats of paint as the coupon stated. After drying I noticed that the wall which was previously painted in the dark gray color needed a third coat of paint to cover well, I call her and pointed it out to her and I agreed to put on the third coat of paint for free because it was a small wall. She came home and we looked at the other walls and also notices that the grey color could be noticed slightly mostly along the edges but I was not going to put a third coat on the rest of the larger walls and closet for free. She told me that her room was in the same color gray and was repainted by someone and it covered very well with two coats of paint, I then asked her to take a look at her room to verify if this was true but she told me her room is in a mess so I can't take a look at it. I cleaned up and she then asked me if I could leave her a brush so she could touch up the wall edges herself, but she realized she had a brush of her own down in the kitchen. So now she is saying that she has to pay someone to fix my bad work, which is very dishonest on her part knowing that she was not going to do so. She also knew the walls needed a third coat of paint to remedy the problem but she wanted me to do it for free, I was not going to do that. She could have asked me if I could put on a third coat and offered me something, I would have done it because I want my customers to be happy, but she wanted too much for free. She not showing her painted room told me a lot. I know we are not perfect, but don't try to destroy my name and business name just because you didn't want to pay to get the job done right."
