Billy, from Devlin's specializing in finding leaks! We had the contractor and the plumbing service that installed our master bathroom come and find a leak that was affecting our main floor guest room below. After 1 week, removing ceiling dry wall and $1,300 later, they couldn't find the leak. When I called Devlin, they sent Billy because he knows his way around leaks. Billy took a look around for about 5mins and figured it out - he is the best!!! Professionally sealed the area and done in about 30mins, clean and professional.

Fantastic...I was freaking out a little bit when I called because the utility company had sent someone out to turn off the water meter for the other side of a duplex I bought since they said they were alerted to a flow rate of 160-170 gallons/hour! I called Devlin's and they were reassuring while listening to my situation. I was scheduled in for within a few hours! Amazing! Billy called to let me know when he was on the way, and when he arrived, he checked everything outside, including the meter, the pipe, under the crawl space, tested putting the water back on, and discovered it was a toilet that busted. Whew! He was so patient and friendly, and answered all my questions, letting me hang out so he could show me the meter and how it worked. We had a really good conversation! Once he determined there wasn't also a pipe leak (whew again), I asked him his opinion on a leak I was having in the washer box. He said he could replace that right now, and I was all SURE THANK YOU!!! That really made my day, several less things to worry about! Billy was so nice and knowledgeable, and did a great job. I am not using another plumbing company, I have found my go-to! <br />

Excellent! They called a day early because they had a cancellation, arrived promptly at the agreed time, listened to me, asked appropriate questions, and quoted a ballpark price up front. All work was completed within an hour! Very pleased. <br />

We were purchasing a home that had some repairs needed before we could close. We had Devlin come out to do the repairs. Overall the repairs eventually got done, but not without having them come out multiple times to complete it. They were supposed to replace the whole sewer line, but when we went to look after they said they were done, there was still a section that had not been replaced. We called the owner and he had the technician come back out to finish the job. To replace the sewer line, they had to cut a hole in our ceiling. They then left the piece of our ceiling on the floor and never replaced it, even after asking them to replace it. When they replaced the sewer line they drove a truck and trailer through our front and back yard to take away the pieces, which we were not pleased with. Overall the work got done, but we had to get them to come out multiple times to finally complete it, and they did not treat our home with respect. We were disappointed and will not be using them again. <br />

Excellent. Our old water heater was installed in 1992! We were very grateful the plumbers were able to fit heater in our very low crawl space. Courteous & efficient. <br /> Other plumbers quoted $1,200 - $1,600. The $950 price was a special. <br />

Excellent service , second time we have used Devlins and both times excellent - today woke up to water all over the bathroom from leak at the base of the toilet and called at 8am, repairman was there and job complete before 10am - very happy and will continue to use for all our plumbing needs <br />

They responded quickly to my call for service for a backed-up, overflowing toilet. Billy was punctual, talked through the potential places the clog could be and options for cleaning out. The problem ended up being simpler than anticipated. <br />

Billy arrived on time after calling earlier to let us know he was on his way. This was on the day we called to schedule the installation. He went right to work. Due to the nature of the install, faucet and particular countertop, he ran into extreme difficulty in making the faucet fit and function properly. What probably should have been no more than an hour job, turned into two and one half hours. It was easy to tell he was extremely frustrated, but never "lost his cool". After the job was finished he apologized over and over for the amount of time it took to complete the job. I would highly recommend this company based on my experience here.

<p>Billy arrived in the time frame that had been scheduled. He was very friendly and professional. He first assessed what needed to be done, then gave an estimate that matched the final price. He replaced the old heavy spout with a better one. He had to cut through drywall to get to the plumbing behind the tub, then attached the new spout with some new copper pipe. He was very respectful of our home, cut just enough drywall to get the job done, and put the sections back so it will be easy for me to patch. When he was finished, he had me check everything to make sure I was satisfied.</p> <p>I've used Devlin before, and will continue to in the future if the need arises. They do what has to be done, charge a reasonable price, and treat a customer's home and time with respect.</p> <br />

Service was performed quickly and professionally. I had a busted outside water faucet, that ended up doing extensive damage to my interior. Luckily these guys were able to come out quickly to get the faucet repaired. Would use them again in the future. <br />

I do not have any issues with the services performed. My issue is not being able to get the discount from Angie's List. I used Angie's List to search for plumbers. With Devlin's there was a discount if the amount was going to be more than $250. I assumed the cost to replace the flappers in 2 toilets (arthritis prevents me from handling this) would not be that much, therefore I did not schedule using the Coupon. After reviewing other plumbers, I nevertheless went with Devlin's. The bill was $270. Much to my surprise, there was nothing I could do at that point to use the coupon. The coupon was good only when scheduled in advance. In fairness to Devlin's, I was told the cost of "rebuild" was $135. In fairness to me, I did not know that replacing the flapper was a "rebuild." The lesson I learned is that I need to ask more questions...or search for other plumbers who are more forthcoming with their information. The amount of $27 for a discount is small, but the aggravation is great. It has overshadowed my experience with using Devlin's Plumbing. <br />

I am glad to know that there were no issues with the service you received, as you mentioned. We were honest with our price when you asked how much it would cost to rebuild a toilet, we told you $135 each. We do offer our Angie's List customers 10% off their service of $250 or more, but it is noted with this coupon it is to be mentioned when the appt. is scheduled. (We typically honor the at the time of payment as well.) But you did not mention this coupon at the time the appt. was scheduled or at the time of payment. You paid the technician and then later contacted the office after your payment had been made. You stated that you thought you were charged too much. We asked you to call around and see how much other plumbers are charging for the same service. We contacted the technician to be sure you were correctly charged. After contacting our technician and finding out you were charged $270 for rebuilding 2 toilets, which was correct, we spoke with you again and you told us that after contacting other plumbing companies we were the least expensive you called. You then asked if you could get your discount and that is when we mentioned our policy that the coupon is to be presented when the appt. is scheduled. We are sorry for your inconvenience and hope you can understand our policy. Sincerely, Devlin's Plumbing"
