D Frey & Son Electric Inc

As someone like me who has intermediate handyman skills, I have been pretty fortunate in solving most electrical problems on my own.  However, that luck ran out today when I was helping a lady complete a basement project that was abandoned by others.  I called Dan in the afternoon and he was nice enough to turn around from Canton and drive back to Ann Arbor to assist me that same day.  I was very pleased on how he quickly solved the electrical problem and how he demonstrated a high level of professionalism.  As long as I am in the Wayne/Washtenaw County area, I will call him first with all my electrical needs. <br />

He arrived a little before the appointment time. <br /> Figured out the cause of the issue with inspection.    <br /> Did the job that I asked.   <br /> Most of all, I like his honesty and that's why I rehired him. <br />

Everything went fine, he was on time. He was knowledgable but had some trouble communicating with me on technical aspects of the job. The only problem is that he left with out giving me a reciept.

The electrician, Frank, was polite, professional and finished the work in an hour. The only reason that I rated the price with a C is that I purchased the service for two hours (since that was offered) and I had no clue how long this would take. I don't know what hourly rates for electricians are, it may very well be a good deal and  I may be way out of touch where prices are concerned. <br />

He was very kind. We decided it would be too big a task and decided not to go through with the work. HE came to my house twice and did not charge me one penny. I would recommend him to others.

He's awesome and he's number one. The price was incredible than i thought. He's very professional, he does a really good job.

The install was good the only thing that was not done was the cleanup in the basement where the drywall was cut. I had drywall dust on my folding table. Otherwise it was amazing. He was very personable and very helpful. I would definitely hire again.

Mr. Frey came to our home virtually as soon as we called his business, the morning after Christmas. He expertly diagnosed the problems that we had in our older home and repaired them. He is also a very nice, affable person with whom we established a rapport, and we knew he was very honest as well.

It went very well. The electrician even helped unhook my wall oven to get access to the space - with no complaints at all.  The electrician was very professional and had a very pleasant attitude. <br /> I will definitely use them again. <br />

Dave was great-called and told him about electrical issue in my basement-said he could come the next day-I informed him my husband was in the hospital and I may not be available so he asked where did I live and said he was doing a job in nearby city and would come by same day if it was not too late-he called a few hours later to see if ok and he came & completed repair. He was very understanding and accomodating. <br />

Service was very professional, and the provider was able to come to my house very quickly after calling to inspect the problem and make the repair.  Price was also very reasonable for a short notice repair call. <br />

Spoke with Dave in the morning to get an estimate and heard what possible causes may be. He said he could stop by either today or tomorrow. Since I was working from home I had asked him to stop by. He was punctual and arrived at the time he said he would.  <br /> He was able to troubleshoot the outlet and determine the cause to be a loose cable in the panel in short order. <br /> To boot, although he said only special he was aware of with Angies was for something else.. I think he said something about testing the panel or another that was a higher priced service, he said since I did print out the coupon he would honor it. <br /> All in all, Dave was on time, on the money, and professional. <br />

Dave came to the house and provided a competitive quote.  He was able to schedule an electrician for Saturday morning (Memorial day weekend) to complete the repairs.    The electrician removed the broken riser and installed a new riser so that DTE could reconnect the electric power to the home. <br />

Excellent service... He went above and beyond my expectations, came out several times to my old and new house to accommodate my needs and moving issues. <br />

needed electric run for jacuzi tub - installed GFI outlet then advised go to Home Depot, buy 3 prong extention cord!  discussed few other electric projects and was informed as it would require going into attic or crawlspace, due to his knees he was not able to do.  while i can sympathize it i also expected better.  overall bad experience, disappointing. <br />

Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous!. I cant say enough about how happy I was with the customer service and professionalism. (Even my husband was impressed...and he is a tough one to impress.). I felt he went over and above my expectations. He made sure I understood the issues and told us to call if we had any questions. I highly recommend him for any of your electrical needs. <br />
