Diamond Electric

I recently had a few electrical issues, first time home owner so I did the usual calling around and after a few quotes. I realized all kinds of " hidden issues" leading to upgrades and all kinds of electrical problems where wrong with my pretty house... ugh! So i told my husband we would get one more quote. This is when came across Carlos and Cris from Diamond Electric. They advised me against all the extras yet brought some possible (minor) issues that need attention soon. Not only did I get my problems fixed but there was no unnecessary expenses. They where on time, able to accommodate for my crazy schedule and had a reasonable price. I will be calling them back to do all my future upgrades.

Work started on time and they seemed to work tirelessly to get it done. Inspector called for a few changes which was frustrating but I think that they know the Los Angeles code inside out now, ready for the next job! Very friendly and personable. Good clean up and communication throughout. Was without electric for minimum amount of time possible. Happy to get the job done and I would highly recommend Diamond Electric. Update: Initial work was fine but come to find out later that the new labeling they did is not correct and none of the breakers are actually connected to what they labeled on the panel. This is not up to code and is a potential hazard. So now I have to have each breaker traced and re - labeled correctly. Not only were they incorrectly labeled but most just say "plug" and " lights". How is any body supposed to know which plug and which lights? Pure laziness on their part. Not only that but to add insult to injury they refused to come back and fix it to code, and had the nerve to accuse my boyfriend of telling them how to label it. Just ridiculous. Talk about passing the buck. They also removed the label from the old panel so we have no idea what's what on the new breakers compared with the old. Sorry but these guys do not pass my test for integrity or attention to detail. They did not complete the job properly and tried to blame it on us. They do not care to fix the labels or take any responsibility for it. You can make your own conclusions on this. The job ultimately has turned out badly and has caused me a lot of wasted time, money and hassle, it should have been done right the first time. There are just no excuses for any of the mess they made of this job and leaving it like they did.

They are so professional and easy to work with. Honest and reliable. We will definitely use them again and highly recommend to other people .
