Bob and Elaine were amazing! They were always on time, did not hard sell, And made great recommendations. The installers were very nice, clean and thorough. The experience start to finish was outstanding and we couldn’t be happier with the results!

They were fantastic! From Elaine who took my call to Eric who came to the house, the professionalism, courtesy, responsiveness and service I got from Diamond was top notch. On one of the hottest days of the summer when our A/C went out (naturally), they went out of their way to get to me ASAP. Then when Eric came to do the service call, he was efficient and thorough and very clear about what he was doing and why.  <br /> I couldn't recommend this company more. <br />

I have an older unit, but Bob is always honest about his accessment  and doesn't push selling me a new unit, when this one still has a little life left in it, I appreciate this as I have had other companies in the past try to push me into a new unit and this was a few years ago before I discovered Diamond Heating and Air. <br />

Air conditioning in one zone stopped working over very hot weekend.  Called three companies to get a quote on possibly replacing both zones before I spent money on repairing a 17+ year old unit. <br /> Diamond was the first company with availability.  Before they came over to give a quote, Bob called to ask me a few questions about the nature of the problem.  He speculated over the phone of what the problem might be and what the cost of fixing it would be. <br /> He arrived for the appointment at the appointed time and proceeded immediately to fix the unit while talking to me about an estimate to replace both zones (2 systems).  He spent extra time hunting down an electrical connection issue in the unit and when done, checked out the flow readings of the system. <br /> $258 dollars fixed the problem.  Since I had scheduled him for a quote, he offered to remove the new part that he had just installed or I could leave it in and if I decided to buy a new system, they would credit the repair of this unit back against it.  I elected to have him leave the fix in place. <br /> Bob quoted me an exceptionally good price per unit for a quality Lennox system.  In fact a competitor who came the following day said that he wanted to see a copy of a written quote because Diamond's price was too good. <br /> Although I've decided for the time being to not replace both systems, I would select Diamond Heating and Air in a second! <br />

Diamond did exactly what they said they would for exactly what they estimated.  We continue to be very pleased with their work and ethics. <br />

<p>My wife and I did a thorough search in getting the best A/C Contractor in the Sacramento area.  The search included Angie?s List, Better Business Bureau, California State Contractor?s License reviews, personal recommendations from neighbors and friends.  After all our searching we ended up going with Diamond Heating and Air.   We signed the contract with Bob Weatherford who is also the owner of Diamond Heating & Air. </p> <p>Both my wife and I were especially impressed with Bob?s thoroughness in explaining the type of system we really needed, the SEER rating of the equipment, and the best way of replacing the existing outdated  heating and cooling system, inadequate insulation, and faulty duct installation.   These were all good suggestions in transforming our home into a more energy efficient and comfortable environment.   Also, it was pointed out that some of the existing ducts became loose and disconnected.  Fiberglass insulation was blowing into one of the rooms.  The outdated  ducts were installed many years ago, and were poorly installed, wasting lots of energy, and the duct work was hanging too low below the floor joists.   </p> <p>Bob suggested that the new duct system be relocated and strapped contiguous to the floor joists which would allow us to walk underneath the house so we could better utilize the space for movement and storage.  Another big task involved the installation of new attic insulation.   This was a big job that required the knowledge that Bob has as being a Licensed Building Contractor.   </p> <p>Again, the thing I appreciated the most was Bob?s honesty and the effort he made to make things right.  Bob and Elaine worked hard to qualify us for the SMUD low interest rate financing and qualify us for the rebates that SMUD and PG&E were offering.  This helped us tremendously in bringing down the costs of the project.    My wife and I are extremely happy that our home now has an excellent home energy assessment from SMUD and PG&E.  We expect that our annual electric savings will be significant.  We are very happy to recommend Diamond Heating & Air to our family and friends.</p>

Our project was problematic from beginning to end and Diamond went above and beyond to take care of the situation, from patching up our old system and loaning us a portable air conditioner so we?d have AC during the hottest days of the year, to completely removing the existing system and ducting and replacing it with a new zoned-system that addresses our needs perfectly. The work took longer than any of us anticipated and was fraught with complications, but Bob and Elaine were wonderful, prompt, and responsive.  Diamond Heating and Air is a stand-up, customer-oriented company and I would recommend them to all my friends and family <br /> <br />

Both of us have been in the building trades, so we are very particular, and were careful in selecting a contractor.  Diamond met and exceeded our expectations.  We were impressed by Bob's straightforwardness - no hype or sales pitch.  He  is very honest - you can count on him following through with whatever he promises.  (Another bidder changed his work scope on his second visit.)  Bob was thorough in explaining the type of system needed, the SEER rating of the equipment, best locations for various components including additional registers, and the benefits of the energy upgrades he could provide.  A job this size was not without glitches, but Bob handled all problems immediately, decisively, and to our satisfaction.  Bob's experience as a general contractor was appreciated in various aspects of this project.  He is a perfectionist, and will go out of his way to make something right, regardless of the cost to him in time and resources, as evidenced by his top-notch subcontractors (sheet rock and painting).  We were pleasantly surprised by the extra things that he did for us, such as painting the newly emptied closet space where the old air conditioning equipment was, and replacing the baseboards where the old return air registers had been.  His crew took extra care in protecting walls and flooring from dirt and damage during the installation, and cleaned up everything daily.  Even though Diamond had several jobs going, Bob and Elaine made us feel as though we were their only customers, giving us their full attention and as much time as we needed in answering our questions.  Bob was very understanding when we had to stop the project due to an out-of-state death in the family, and the project started again in a timely manner upon our return.  Each room in our home is now conditioned properly and comfortably.
