Scott is a reliable and a very knowledgeable contractor. Only with looking at a simple picture, he knew what kind of repair was needed for the leaks on my walls coming from the deck. Scott's team came to my house and fixed the deck leaks in a matter of hours. The professional and very detailed quality work, was accomplished with honesty and timelines. I would recommend DiJulio contracting for any home repairs or home improvements.

Bathroom remodel

It took me over a year to find a company to remove a wall and remodel my kitchen. I was very pleased with DiJulio Contracting. I wanted to have a wall taken down in the kitchen in my townhouse to create some more space and open things up. This company was very affordable, and were able to start the job and complete the kitchen remodel promptly, as time was very critical in this instance for me. Their crews were all very friendly and professional and Scott was easy to communicate with throughout the process. I will keep them in mind for any home remodeling projects and will recommend 100%. Well done!

My home needed more functional closet space in the master bedroom, and I wasn't sure how to make it work given the space restrictions. I met with a couple of contractors previously, but was most impressed with DiJulio Contracting. The owner, Scott, came out and walked me through some different options that I had never even considered beforehand. He helped me envision the space and also gave me valuable feedback as to the cost implications for each options. A few days later, they sent me over an estimate with a detailed sketch of the two options I liked best, along with estimates for each. It even included some imagery to help me imagine things more clearly. Their pricing was competitive and I decided to hire DiJulio Contracting as I felt most confident and comfortable with them. I couldn't have been more pleased with the end result. Their workers were all very courteous, punctual, and most importantly for me, cleaned up each and every day. I am so happy with my new closet and overall the process was very easy. I highly recommend Scott and his team at DiJulio Contracting.

Scott and his crew did an amazing job. I am writing this one year after the job was completed, and we are still very happy with all aspects of the finished project. Scott was very responsible and responsive, and he was communicative. They showed up when they said they would and they did what they said they would do, and they did it well. We were pleased with them from start to finish. Very reasonably priced. Worked well with us, from easy discussions on the planning to modifications during the build-out. They took an unfinished cinder-block shell and turned it into a part of our home that is livable, functional, and beautiful, including a new rec room, laundry, in-law suite with kitchenette and bathroom, and bedroom, with all-new plumbing, electrical, tile, flooring, walls, and more. The performed high quality work that has withstood the test of time. It was one of the best contractor experiences and end-products I have had, and I would unreservedly recommend or rehire DiJulio Contracting again.

It went very well

I received several quotes for the work but decided to go with Scott DiJulio because of price and research about the quality of work. The other reviews were correct, this is a good value. We are very happy and would most definitely do it again. Friends and family are very impressed with how the space has changed. The work is of very high quality and problems always arise with this scale a project, but he and his employees were able to handle every issue. As long as you are prepared to be proactive about communication, you should be pleased with a decision to hire DiJulio. I was/am comfortable trusting this team in my home. Hard to coordinate appointment. A follow up email not replied to. They were very busy at the time. I appreciated the estimate and contract. Also seemed pretty nice.

Scott came and was very friendly , professional and helpful in helping us form an initial plan for the basement. We have not moved to a total cost estimate but so far so good.

We met with a couple of contractors and liked Scott DiJulio the best - he was very knowledgable about our type of project and we felt very comfortable talking to him. The basement space where we wanted to add a bathroom was quite tricky because there was no rough in and it was not obvious how it would work. However, Scott came up with a plan that we liked a lot and we felt the price he quoted us was pretty reasonable. The whole project (which also included the addition of an egress window) took about 5 weeks to complete. All the workmen involved were very courteous and professional, and did a great job cleaning up after the project was finished. The bathroom turned out absolutely beautiful - even better than we hoped for. And we didn't even have to ask for any touch ups that we noticed needed doing because they were already all taken care of when we did the final inspection. We would definitely recommend DiJulio Contracting to others, and in fact we have already made plans ourselves to have them come back for a different project in our house.

Met with us on several times, provided advice and hones assessment of what we could do at the price point and told us what we should and should not do. Received other quotes and spoke with other contractors, he was by far very honest and very detailed in his estimates.  He started on time and finished on time, workmanship was outstanding.  He responded to email and text and he price was very fair, and flexible during the process.  <br />

Excellent work. DiJulio Contracting crew is extremely professional. Mr. DiJulio is very involved in the process and has a genuine love for his work and doing things right. We are very happy with the results of our basement. <br />

Agreed upon a price which was fair for the work being done at less than 1000.    The contractor is very aware of his costs to include fuel needed to travel to and from the site.   Be sure to agree upon any additional costs before the work is done.  Being charged 1300 extra to paint two additional 12 x 15 rooms seemed very expensive.  Especially when I ended up purchasing all the paint (240 dollars). <br /> <br /> <br />

We sought three bids for the work and ultimately chose DiJulio Contracting, LLC, not only based upon pricing, but because we felt Scott had the "boots on the ground" experience we were looking for that his competitors did not.  We had overseen the basement re-model of our previous home so we knew what we wanted, we just did not want the hassle of pulling it all together ourselves again.  Scott orchestrated each step of the process exceptionally well and communicated with us regularly.  He was on-site for each new phase of the project to walk the scope of work with us and with his team. His crew is skilled, reliable, polite and left the work-site clean and organized at the end of each day.  I highly recommend DiJulio Contracting and will definitely hire them again for any future re-modeling work I need done. <br />

They repaired it so well it looks like nothing happened.

<p>We received four bids.  One was so low that either the work would be poor, the contractor was hoping to make up the difference in change orders, or he didn't have a clue.  Scott DiJulio met with us, walked through the desired work, and carefully made notes and drawings.  His proposal was professional and complete.  Initially, the work was only for the utility area and family room..Over the course of the work, we added additional projects: replace storm doors, tile the pantry, attic.  Scott was highly professional, personable, and responsive throughout.</p> <p>We definitely recommend Scott and would use him again.</p> <br />

I didn't have a bathroom in the basement of my 1950's townhouse so Scott DiJulio and his team started the project from under the slab and worked themselves up.  While they were at it, they added a new laundry room/storage room/utility area.  As I have a very small townhouse, Scott worked with me on the design to maximize the space.  Brilliant!  His crew were true professionals and worked with me over every nuance and what-if I came up with.  On the few occasions when something needed to be adjusted, they did it without a murmur.  The tile work is exquisite and the drywall finish work is unbelievable (as someone who has drywalled in the past, I recognized quickly that I had true professionals in the house).  The plumbers and electricians were top-notch and the construction crew were fantastic.  To top it all off, a very thorough cleaner arrived and no speck of dust was spared.  The space will never be as clean, I can assure you.  I couldn't be more pleased.   <br /> During the bathroom/laundry construction, I also planned to replace my kitchen cabinets.  Since Scott and his crew were already in the house, I asked if they would be able to tack on the job and install the cabinets for me rather than go with the contractor suggested by the cabinet salesman.  Scott gave me a very reasonable price and up they went.  The same person who tiled my bathroom and laundry room also tiled my kitchen floor.  Flawless.  The electrical and plumbing was quickly done and the walls patched where needed.   <br /> There really wasn't a language barrier with his crew, either.  Most spoke English and since Scott speaks Spanish, there was never a moment when the instructions weren't clear.   <br /> From start to finish, the job lasted eight weeks and was finished on my birthday -- what a present!  The project passed the multiple inspections without a hitch.  As the inspector told me, "when the job is done right the first time, his job was easy."   <br /> Is everything perfect?  No, there are a few minor things.  With a house as old as mine, nothing is very square so a few minor things are to be expected. <br /> I would heartily recommend Scott DiJulio and DiJulio Contracting, LLC to anyone! <br />
