Lawn was in bad shape and D&T came in with power seeding and aeration and with their regular maintenance the lawn is looking 100% better! Hoping to have the perfect lawn by season's end.

"Complaining about your 1st and only application 2 months later, based on results, doesn't mean we didn't apply evenly. You can have a different soil pH throughout your lawn, some areas doing better than others, since grass doesn't take in nutrient in acidic soil, along with many other reason. To jump to that conclusion so quickly, isn't fair to us. This is why we had your soil tested. We scheduled you twice for core aeration, seed and starter fertilizer and it was confirmed by you, both times. Multiple times before the scheduled date, you were informed sprinkler heads must be marked. The option was there for us to mark them for you, if we had access to the control panel. Both times heads were not marked, no one home, and no answered the phone. After you cursed and scream at my secretary for 10 min straight without letting us get a single word in and then threatened us by leaving a bad review, you are lucky we showed up. We don't even know what you were unhappy about. You rambled on and on about your personal life and your relationship with Angie's List, not anything to do with seeding! Not only did we show up, we did a top notch job. You need to look at your lawn again, we get a lot of seed down and we get it in every nook and cranny, every time, no matter what!"

He was terrible. He was really bad. He destroyed my lawn and blamed everybody in the world for it. Everything from you put too much water on, you didn't put enough water on. He went by my shed and looked in the window and saw I had some round up. He blamed the dead spots in the middle of the lawn from me spraying round up on it. It is beyond ridiculous. We had the lawn seeded twice in less than twelve months. You can't believe how terrible my lawn looks. I don't think he knows what he's doing. When he first came out he told me I needed lime. He supposedly takes the soil to get tested. Then he says you don't need lime but of course I need lime there isn't any lime put on this lawn in forever. He tells me I had moss in some area's. Moss is the easiest thing in the world to take care of. I still have moss in those same area's. He is awful. Forty one years I've been married, forty one years we've owned a home, we built a home, we've renovated two homes. I have never had a worse company. They come on some kind of a scheduled deal whenever there's suppose to be a treatment. They come you pay them in advance, according to whatever schedule deemed they come out. The last treatment we payed them for is coming up shortly and then I'm done with them. We paid a lot of money for lawn service.It's a terrible company. I just don't think he knows what he is doing and blame everybody else for the problem.

"Wow, before we even started, I pointed out deficiencies in their sprinkler system. In the middle of the year, the Mrs. takes RoundUp to her own lawn by mistake, but blames us. Mrs. called us screaming, so when we stopped out for a service call, it was obvious death to weeds in their landscape beds that went to their lawn. It was even clear the RoundUp bottle was leaking. To grade my small business like this for their own problems that they created is messed up! Someone trying to make a hard earned living, addressed all of their concerns promptly, and we are subjected to this."

They had the soil tested and started a fertilizer application. By the second application the test results were back and they told me how much additional fertilizer I would need and I agreed to the new plan. Everything happened as they described it in their first visit. In short, I would say excellent so far.

Had someone out to begin step 1 of the lawn fertilization program. Arrived when said and applied the fertilizer. Will update when time has passed to see actual results.

Dirt & Turf did an excellent job last year taking care of my lawn care needs. They applied all the appropriate fertilizers, weed preventers and pest/insect control applications. They always let me know when they were coming and responded quickly to any questions I had. We have hired them again for this year. The grass was very nice last year and should be even better this year with Dirt & Turf continuing to take care of it.

I have an annual contract where they take care of the lawn with 4 different applications of different products depending on what is needed. I like the appearance of the lawn, they do a good job. Interactions with them were fine. I'm pleased with the way the lawn looks. After applications report back, in writing, anything they observe that could be taken care of whether they are contracted for it or not.

This is the beginning of my treatment which started mid summer making it hard this year to give a complete review. I will leave that till the end of next season. So far this season, I am happy to say it was worth trying out Dirt & Turf. I had my soil test done which you get on official Rutgers letterhead. Most companies don't do the analysis. The best part so far is that I asked Patrick to come out and explain the parts of my yard that needed the most work. I was in agreement that my sprinkler system was under performing. He also explained what steps they were going to take to address the Rutgers sample and how the treatments would benefit next year. Overall, I appreciate the ability to meet the main service providers and the time spent explaining everything. He also did well in killing the Kyllinga weed in my yard.

I'm very happy with this service. If you ask, they will actually call you before they come out if you have locked fenced yard like ours. The workman sprayed extra weed killer in my trouble areas and they answered all my questions. They provided doc. on toxicity of weed killer they use since we have dogs. Our grass looks much better since last treatment and weeds are almost zero. Frankly, the weed control is better than I thought it would be.

Pat is a miracle worker. Took a lawn (if you could call it that) mostly dirt and weeds and turned it into a thick green lawn. It went from zero to hero and my lawn is now the envy of my street. I gave up on lawn services years ago and glad I found Dirt and Turf - they are the real deal!

Admittedly, my front lawn was probably too much of a challenge for this provider's technique, as my lawn suffered from many years of coverage by oak leaves before I purchased the house, but in the end, despite multiple treatments spanning several months, my lawn never improved. <br />

"It was unfortunate we couldn't help [Member Name Removed] out; we gave it a fair chance and exhausted all procedures for him to have a nice lawn. Basically, 1,000 sqft with a dozen oak trees. We fixed soil pH by applying lime, but the acorns just wreaked havoc. If the area was upkept better and the acorns didn't stay there for more than a couple weeks, he would have had a better chance."

"When seed grows in the aeration holes and not around it usually means a water issue. Seed was still growing at the end of November, so it wouldn't have been too late in the year to see all the results. Make sure your sprinkler are spraying evenly."
