Disaster Doctors

We recently had our basement flood. Cody at Disaster Doctors took such good care of us and our home. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. He would explain the mitigation process in detail and keep us in the loop with every surprise that he found or every little piece of good news. They were willing to work with us when we wanted to do some of the work ourselves to save a buck or two. Throughout the whole process we had a ton of questions that were answered with patience and confidence. If it wasn't for the whole basement flooding thing this would have been an all-around pleasant experience. It's unfortunate that good guys like Cody only come around when bad things happen. If something bad happens again I'll definitely give Disaster Doctors a call.

Carlos at Disaster Doctors came promptly, evaluated and explained what needed to be done to resolve the damage problem. Carlos was personable, great to work with for removal of damaged area and made sure we knew what to expect. He did the removal of damaged area professionally and gave the evaluation information to Sabrina for the repair work estimate. Sabrina scheduled the replacement of insulation, drywall, paint and carpet. Brandon did well to replace insulation, drywall, do mud and painting quickly, smoothly and cleaned up well. We were pleased they all kept the process moving along smoothly and kept us informed along the way. They made sure they took care of what we expected. We will use them again, if needed.

Throughout, the entire crew has been cheerful and considerate as well as hard-working. While I sincerely hope I never have another disaster to deal with, in the event I should, I wouldn't hesitate to call these guys again.

Very knowledgeable and professional. We had a concern and they came out immediately. They were able to explain the situation and assuage our fears (thankfully everything was just fine with our home and there wasn't any damage). They didn't even charge for the consultation.

They did an assessment of water damage and said they would send an estimate. That was about a week ago. I still haven't received the estimate or bid yet, however. <br />

We called Disaster Doctors this year when we had water damage in our basement.This was the first time we ever had to deal with something like this in our home and were also expecting a new baby around the same time of the incident, which made it that much more stressful. Disaster Doctors arrived at my home promptly and helped deal with the situation quickly and efficiently. The representatives were lovely, I had no problem leaving them in my home unattended and also gave them a key to come back and forth to deal with drying out our basement. I am extremely clean in my home and found that the team did a great job with cleaning up and were cautious when removing waste and transporting it out of my home.They also dealt with filing all the paperwork and photographs for our insurance claim, the whole process was much easier than expected. Their service and care went well above and beyond any company I had ever worked with in the past. I would recommend Disaster Doctors to all friends and family, they were great!

Disaster Doctors handled everything.    Helped with insurance claim.    Very helpful.     I felt they went above and beyond.     I would be happy to use them again if  I have a similar  occurance at any of the properties I manage. <br />

Finding mold in your house can be a very stressful thing because of all the horror stories you hear about. I called them to have them come out and look at the mold to see how bad the damage was and if they could figure out where it was coming from. They were able to come out the next day and look at the problem. Not only did they find the problem but the price they gave me to fix it was a really good deal. They made the whole process seem a lot less stressful because they were very professional about it and great to work with. With me being a single mom and a new home owner its nice to know that there are people out there you can trust to not take advantage of you. <br />

On Thanksgiving weekend, we had a pipe break in the ceiling of a bedroom in our newly remodeled basement.  The standing water in the bedroom was several inches deep and also seeped into the mechanical room and a bathroom.  The damage was enough for Cameron to have to remove materials down to the studs.  I had informed him that I wanted minimal impact of the clean up and restoration due to the fact that we had just lived through the dust and chaos of a remodel.  He and his crew carefully moved our furniture out of the room, put down plastic on all surfaces that the workers would be using, sealed the affected room with plastic and a zippered door and made every effort to contain the dust and debris.  It was probably the cleanest job I've ever experienced in the many construction projects we have undertaken!  Since it was right in the middle of the holiday season, he also did his very best at making sure the impact on our home and family was minimal.  He was extremely thorough and hard working.  He made sure the work was done quickly and done right.  He also referred us to a restoration company to do the construction and checked back to make sure we were completely satisfied even though his work on the project was complete.  We have experienced several floods and have done many construction and remodel projects through the years and our experience with Cameron was one of the most positive experiences we have had.  We highly recommend him and his company. <br />

As above, Cameron and his crew were very thorough and explained the entire process, answered all questions, and stated he will remain available if needed. His explanations in the beginning of the process and his work turned out as projected.  We are very satisfied with his work, his professionalism, his pleasant manner in all details, his punctuality, knowledge of the industry, and answering all of our many questions. Shortly after we moved into our home, we had a pipe leak in our basement. After getting a plumber in to repair the pipe, Disaster Doctors was in right behind to get all the wet waste out. They were quick and efficient, making sure they found all the damaged property and taking care of it. They worked with our insurance to ensure the best deal for our pocketbook, as well as arranging the rebuild with a contractor. They handled all the arrangements, worked well with our insurance and got our home back to normal. <br />
