I would not under any circumstance recommend this company. They are not licensed or bonded even though they will say they are. They only pose a business license. We were effectively forced to be our own project managers. We continually had to review their “completed” work and have it redone for both safety and aesthetic reasons. They made every part of our project a fight and phone call with the owners to have it completed the way it was laid out in our contract. Worst of all we ended up paying 30% more than the competition for less than subpar work. If I could give them negative stars, I most certainly would. Our pool was over 20 years old and in rough shape. The pool deck was cracked, we had drainage issues and major leaks in our pool lines. Due to the pool line leaks we decided to get the entire backyard redone including the pool. Our project included the following: renovating the existing pool, add a fire pit area and a large composite deck off the pool. We provided Dive In with a scale outline of what we wanted with all the measurements and placement of each component of the project. This was provided to Dive In before they quoted the project. We also had the ground marked out with paint when they took their measurements. As soon as we started work, they began refusing to replace all the lines and the composite deck as stated in our contract. We had to have a phone call with the owners, to get the lines replaced due to the actual condition of the lines during their repair attempts. They even attempted to get us to pay additional for replacing the lines. We then had to go back into negotiations for the contract because they did not want to complete the deck as part of the contract, we also had to omit the fireplace. They stopped work on our project for weeks while this was happening and held our deposit ransom while they consistently tried to make the contract only fit their needs and ignored what we originally asked for. Being really shady during the whole process. Once work recommenced they would show up unannounced and at all times of the day and on the days they were supposed to come they wouldn’t show. We ended up needing our spa rebuilt as well, it became evident they had very little to no experience doing this work. They poured a cold joint in the concrete and the plumbing looks like a 5 year old’s erector set. We will more than likely have to replace all of their work very soon. Once we got to finally laying the concrete deck Dive In calls to tell us the sq ft changed. Mind you we never changed it, they tell us to shrink our design or pay more money for the additional sq ft. Lee, one of the owners ended up screaming at my husband for refusing to pay them extra and threated to completely stop work unless we did. Jeff the owner calls us back and says we have to pay at least half. It then takes two weeks to get the deck poured because they never ordered the color that we chose for the pool deck finish. The whole experience was an absolute nightmare. Their employees do subpar work at best. We paid roughly 30% more than we would have with anyone else for subpar work and their game is to take your money and try to do as little of the work if any, while you struggle to either get your money back or get them to actually do the work. Jeff and Lee are the most self-serving, dishonest people I have ever encountered in my life.

The project went overall very well and the price was very good. Everyone seemed very knowledgeable and the owner was extremely helpful in addressing several of our concerns. They did a great job grinding out the cracks, smoothing the uneven surfaces, re-pouring a section that had raised up that sat on the pool edge, and covering it all with CoolDeck. The technicians came right on time and worked all day long for 3 days. It looks like we have an entirely new, re-poured deck now. Our three complaints are that our neighbor saw that that the technicians poured some mix or something into the storm drain when we were out. That's a no-no. Previously they poured some into a catch-basin of ours which drained into our neighbors larger drain system. He told us and was not happy nor were we. I also wished that their grinding tool had some kind of vacuum system on it. Instead, we had huge clouds of dust around the house while they were grinding. The second complaint was that the color was lighter than we expected from what we saw in the sample. The third complaint is that my wife is seeing a hair line crack forming around the pool where the owner suggested we have a coping cut line made, but which the concrete workers rejected saying it would weaken the structure too much. Now we may need to have them come back and make the cut line after all... and a ton more dust.

The pool man was not dependable at all. I requested once a week service but he came when he wanted to. Sometimes it was two weeks. Our pool is dark green. I would not recommend this company.

It went well. We have them on a monthly basis in the winter and weekly basis in the summer. They did some major work on the pool two or three years ago.

The technicians they use to service the pools were fine, but their office side was very disorganized. There was no set schedule for their visits, sometimes we would go 10 days between cleanings, sometimes it was two days. Twice during the summer we had an algae bloom and it took weeks to get the pool back into usable condition. I had to call repeatedly to make sure they came back to treat and service the pool. Billing was a nightmare, for some reason they just couldn't send us a bill in a timely manner, I had to call them to ask them to bill me. After three months of service they finally got us onto their automatic billing. I had to call their office manager several times to schedule the pool closing, it took about three weeks from my initial request to when they finally came out to close.
We did have a couple issues with the service techs during the season. I came home one day to find a brand new pole I had purchased (less than a week old) bent and tossed into our garden. They did pay for it but there is no reason I should have had that happen. When the pool was closed at end of season everything around the pool was tossed into the garden and left in a state of disarray, they could have easily placed the pool cleaning tools in a pile and that would have been fine.
From the original pricing I did last season they were on the less expensive side. The old cliche of 'you get what you pay for' seems to apply here.
I am presently contacting other service providers in the area in the hopes of finding a better group to do this work for us, I won't be contacting Dive In.
It is very good. I have been using them for almost one year now. The technicians have been professional and considerate. If I ask them to do something extra it is not a problem, and they are just want you want for a pool service company and you don’t have to see them.

I was super impressed with the flagstone work around my pool. The guy that did it was one of the best I've seen. They worked extremely fast and got the job done. The only thing I would say is be careful in selecting your pool liner. I sent pictures of what I wanted but when I saw the small swatch it doesn't really show how it will look and since I am not a pool professional I couldn't tell. It would have been great if I could have seen it in a pool or a picture first. I was disappointed with the pool color which was partly my fault in selecting it but I couldn't tell from that swatch. Overall the they seemed to be helpful and professional. I liked their employees and subcontractors.
They did a great job of keeping me updated during the project and I was very happy with the price and the work performed. The pool had not been used in over a year and they turned it back to a pool in very good condition. I will call them again when we need a pool company.
